3k 4-channel dashboard camera

I bought this 4-channel camera because where I live the parking lot is open and not so safe, since I bought it I can leave my vehicle more peaceful. It has a front camera, on the sides and the back. It has good image quality, 24/7 gravel with impact detection option allows you to review and download videos from the cell phone. It is a full board camera and good quality

Good customer service takes care there customers

After 25 days the dash cam stopped working, it would turn off while driving. Reached out to seller and they exchanged it. Very happy with the customer service. Was disappointed at 1st but will be installing again.

Excellent dash cam! The 3K video quality is clear both day and night. Easy to install and simple to use. The wide-angle view captures everything, and the app works smoothly. Good quality and great value.I especially appreciate the “recording” car sticker, a very thoughtful touch that adds extra peace of mind. Highly recommend!

Install was very easy and intuitive.

At first I thought the power cable was way too long, but once I figured out the tool that tucks the wire behind the trim of my truck, the length was just perfect.

The app was easy to download and also intuitive, though I’m always a bit concerned needing an app on my phone that is from a company in China that I don’t know that much about.

The rear view camera isn’t long enough to be permanently installed on my four door long bed truck, but I am able to prop it up in the right way to help me backup to connect to a trailer, which is really nice since my truck doesn’t have a backup camera.

The screen is small, which is ok for me since I don’t use it for backing up much. One weird thing, that goes in the doesn’t really matter category, is that when I am wearing polarized sunglasses glasses, the screen appears black even though it has an image on it.

My camera was the option that did not come with a SD card, which meant I had to go looking for an appropriate memory card for it. The listing was slightly confusing because it did have one part of the listing where it said there was no SD card included with this option, but another part (the 'included components') said the SD card WAS included, so I was a little confused. But perhaps this no-memory card option was for people who already had a memory card available? This camera does require a certain higher level of memory card (Class 10 or higher 128GB - 512GB size). For the other purchase options you can have them include the memory card with the camera.

Calidad del producto muy por debajo de lo esperado

El producto recibido no cumplió sus expectativas, luego de tres días de instalado, se lendespego el display, iba conduciendo y se despegó, quedó pendiendo de los cables de señal. Las dos cámaras laterales dejaron de funcionar también y aolo funcionaba la cámara frontal y la trasera. Un desastre total en relación al precio pagado.

Customer service was available on a weekend and very friendly.

The camera works great. Easy Install. I was adjusting my rear view camera to a better location and in the process damaged the connectiong cable. Kelly's service at the Botslab website was great in assisting me with a replacement.

Slim low profile design ...good quality

Clear wide shot of the road good 3k quality. Can see license plate clearly. Night drive is clear .easy to connect to app ..installation was easy..been over 8 months now and still working..slim and not bulky design...thats why I went with this dash cam...also have right and left camera that can point in the driver side or passenger side

The item was great

The item was easy to install, the video quality is really good. I already caught an accident on it, it was easy to download the footage. Only issue I faced here was the parking mode, I had to get the hardware kit and due to not residing in the USA. I had to wait for the item to allow the dashcam to be 24/7. The hardware kit was free, you had to contact their customer service to which my experience was really pleasant with Ada, she frequently followed up to make sure my product was good and if I received it. I do see myself buying more items from Botslab.

Install camera outdoors. Not recommended

I Emailed customer service about 1 item not working right and was sent a replacement part free. It was simple, fast and free. What more can you ask for? Love Botslab and Kelly for helping me in this. DP in NYC

UPDATE: The 4 ch Botslab worked for less thin a year. I Paid $150 to have installed. Emailed Botslab about the SD card not staying in place. I have a rag top driving with the top open and the my $120. 512 SD card was launched on to the hi way. It keep ejecting it. and wont stay in place. They said if I return all parts I'll get a replacement. Here's the problem with that, I paid $150 to have it installed. If I remove it, it's another $150.00. Then I have to pay another $150.00 to install the new one. I told them I could sent just the defensive part, and have them send me a replacement. I got no answer. If I did it there way, I would have spent almost $700.00 on this thing. Thanks BOTSLAB, for nothing.

Easy to use, install and outstanding customer service.

The Boltslab 3K 4-channel system is a complete package, coming with everything you need, including a microSD card for storage. Both the video and audio quality are crystal clear. Installation was straightforward, the app is very easy to use, and Kelly from customer service was outstanding. I also like that the setup is highly customizable and records every side of the car, an essential feature needed nowadays with everything happening on the roads. My wife purchased it for her vehicle and we would definitely purchase this system again.

I do wish the system had an internal battery so it could operate independently from the vehicle, especially when the car is off. However, this can be easily addressed with a direct power connection, which I received for free through a promotional deal during registration with Kelly from customer service, making it an even better value.

Make the fourth camera a baby monitor!

4 of 5 quality dash cam. Compact and easy to figure out. But I did something awesome with it, imma tell you. The side cameras are detachable (plug in via USB-C port). And I had this great idea to use one as a baby monitor. Other items I bought to do this was a couple of 90 degree elbow USB-C adapter, a 10ft Data/Camera USB-C extension cable, and a suction phone mount with a clip (to hold the camera). And its fantastic! If BOTSLAB could make a camera mount that the cameras can plug into, that would be awesome.

Absolutely love it specially, with a new car definitely love it for sure. I would recommend getting this for sure especially with all the drivers that we have up here. Crazy drivers now these days.

It hangs crooked after a few months.

Perfect at the start, but after a few months it sags to the right making it look ridiculous.

Unacceptable demands for personal info to use

This dashcam REQUIRES an unacceptable amount of personal information, and your “agreement” in advance to share that information with “third parties”, before you can use it for any purpose. You know, like as a dashcam.

The very FIRST of demands you must accept before using this dashcam reads: “ 1. In order to facilitate you to quickly log in with your Botslab account in the app, we will obtain your mobile phone account information, which is a necessary permission.” Yes, Botslab REQUIRES that you first create an account that includes your phone number, email address and allow your physical/GPS location information access to start. You can’t use a fake number because they “confirm” it by sending a text.

Under “2. Account Registration and Usage Rules” you learn that by using the essential Botslab app you first will be consenting/allowing a “third party” to log in, and that Botslab will then obtain that info too. The unnamed third party(s) will be “sharing”/ “facilitating” advertisements through the app and all your contact info at their own discretion.

There’s much more that you have to give up in order to use this device. Google the Botslab User Agreement yourself to confirm. This device feels like it has been designed first for the benefit of scammy data brokers and advertisers, with no way to opt out or hold them responsible. Competitor VanTrue has no such demands/risks. I have no idea if the Botslab dashcam works well because I boxed it right back up and returned it for refund. No way anyone should have to provide all that personal information in order to use such a device.

Impressive DVR with Excellent Daytime Recording and Wide Coverage

I've been using this DVR as an upgrade from my previous dual-channel VIOFO, and the difference is noticeable—especially during daytime recording.

The front camera offers a wide angle and outstanding clarity, making license plates easily readable even for vehicles in adjacent lanes. I also appreciate that the side cameras are active in parking mode and maintain solid daytime quality.

Performance Highlights

Daytime Recording:

Video quality during the day is excellent. License plates are clear and readable—even for cars passing quickly in adjacent lanes. My older DVRs, including some 4K models, only captured plates well at full stops like traffic lights.

Frame-by-frame review reveals consistently sharp, crisp images without blurring, even for fast-moving vehicles.

In a past hit-and-run incident, I was asked to provide footage from the side impact. This DVR is fully capable of recording such incidents during the day.

The front camera's wide angle is superb—capturing vehicles in adjacent lanes even when they're just beginning to pass.

Nighttime Recording:

Front camera performs well at night—slightly better than my previous VIOFO, particularly in reading plates in side lanes.

Rear camera is on par with or slightly behind the VIOFO, but the difference isn't significant.

Side (left/right) cameras are nearly ineffective at night for capturing fast-moving objects, though they may still be helpful for parking surveillance.

Glare from headlights and traffic lights is minimal and better managed than in my previous device.

Software and Design Notes

Collision Detection Sensitivity: if you have unexpected triggered emergency videos - update the firmware, it is fixed!

Card Slot Placement: The memory card slot is located on top of the unit, making it difficult to access when installed—especially for users with average-sized hands. Thankfully, connecting via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is simple, so physical access isn’t often necessary.

Dashcam works great, love the 360-drgree view

This dashcam by Botslab works great.

It was easy to install, and the app worked right away with my phone.

I love that this camera has a 360-degree view. This makes it stand apart from other cameras.

Last year, someone in a huge construction truck hit me when they pulled forward from a construction site across the street from our house without looking. We had backed out, and we were just pulling forward when he pulled out and slammed into us.

I wish I had this camera last year because he lied and tried to tell the cops that we backed into him. Anyway, the back camera and the full view all the way around the car are great options to have for a car camera.

Also, this is a good company with high-quality products. I'm really happy that we have this camera, and I won't be without one in our cars anymore.
