Two-way window cameras, give great views both inside and outside!
I finally got my cameras set up and going! I can be easily intimidated when having to set up tech items. I did find these very user-friendly, which I truly appreciate.
The downside of these cameras is they have to be plugged in. They do come with a very long cord. It’s a charging style of cord. Because of that, I assumed that they needed a charged periodically. But that’s not the case. It can greatly affect where you put it as it has to be near a plug-in.
I’m happy with the views outside on both cameras. The view appears very clear. If you try to zoom in on something smaller, it does get a bit iffy.
I do have them set up so I get an alert. I really liked that. I’m home working most of the time. I like getting the alert when a person is here. When I fed my backyard birds this morning I did not get an alert.
I love that I can switch to an indoor view and check on my dog when I’m gone. That is a big plus.
The only reason I took one star off was because you don’t have the option of putting a battery in them or charging them. You can see in the picture on the inside of my home. I put the camera on a side window next to my front door. I have to plug it in inside my office so the cord continues across my entryway and under double French doors to plug in.
I felt the price was very reasonable for two cameras that supply four views.
The application to the window was very easy too. The directions tell you to put the two pieces that attach it to the windows down separately. I found it easier to make sure the window cling portion is on the outside and lining up the two stickers. I could put my finger in the lens holes making it lineup better. Then attach the cling side to the window.
Aug 27th update:
I added a star because while it does have a cord, it works really well! I just added another photo to show you how detailed the alerts are. I still haven’t signed up for cloud storage. That may be coming.

Uniquely designed camera
This window camera has been a great addition to my home security setup. The installation was quick and easy, and I really like that it mounts indoors without needing to drill any holes.
The video quality is clear during the day, and the night vision provides a detailed image after dark. The AI human detection has been helpful for reducing unnecessary alerts, and the dual-lens design gives a wider view than a standard camera. The app was straightforward to set up, and the camera has maintained a reliable Wi-Fi connection.
If you’re looking for a simple, no-drill security camera that offers clear video, useful smart features, and dependable performance, this is a solid option.

Window mount dual camera, looks outside and inside. Easy to set up.
First off, I am a senior, and anything techy really intimidates me, but I wanted a camera near my basement door. What I really liked was the size of this camera and the simple way that it operates. It is about the size of half a banana. It has two cameras, one that looks out, and one that looks in. It uses static stickum not adhesive so there is no goo if you want to move it to another window. You clean the window area carefully, then put the electrostatic clear sheet.. The black sheet is next, first remove the protective plastic, they put the plastic side to the electrastatic cling sheet.. The camera comes with a black hook latch fabric, it sticks to almost any fabric.. Put the back of the camera against the black sheet on the window, and it is firmly attaches. The camera comes with two sets of window attachment sheets. You do have to connect this camera to your home's wifi. It says it will use either 5GHz or 2.4GHz. When you plug the camera fore the first time, it wakes up and tells you to get the app for your phone. I confess, I had a problem with this, but I am sure it is because I am, not techy, and I somehow missed scanning the qr code on the camera during the configuration. Luckily, there is a way to do it manually, (for us older people) and that worked. The camera company has a subscription service you can sign up for, to save pic and videos.. I am happy using a sd card. There is a slot where you can put in one of those tiny ones.. When I put in the correct wifi password every worked almost on its own. You have a screen where you can use the outside camera, or the inside camera. There is a little rubber cap that you can sit on top of the inside facing camera. One thing I liked is that this is a plug in, not battery, It uses a standard usb cable and that little power supply to plug into the outlet. Another nice feature is that usb cord is super long.. and comes with small white plastic wall clips so you can mount the cord neatly, when you have it in the right place.. Finally, and I thought this was a great idea, there is a static cling sticker that warns about the surveillance. I loved that, because it is an ounce of protection. Overall, I really like this camera, it is unobtrusive, and give me some security.

Innovative Concept That Works Better Than Expected
I really like the concept behind this camera. The dual-lens design is unique and allows you to monitor both inside and outside at the same time without installing multiple cameras. Installation was straightforward, and I appreciate that it doesn't require drilling holes. The video quality is sharp during the day, and the color night vision is better than I expected for a window-mounted camera. The app was also easy to set up, and I like receiving notifications when people are detected. One thing to keep in mind is that the inward-facing camera only supports live viewing, while continuous recording is limited to the outward-facing camera. I also recommend purchasing a microSD card if you plan to use local recording since one isn't included. Overall, I think this is a clever solution for anyone who wants to add security without permanently mounting cameras outside their home

Brilliant Design, Incredible Value, & Zero Monthly Fees!
I am absolutely thrilled with this camera system! If you are looking for an affordable, hassle-free security setup, this 2-pack is an incredible choice. Setting these up was an absolute breeze. The installation process is completely straightforward and takes you through everything step-by-step. To get started, you just download the companion app using the QR codes printed right on the side of the box. From unboxing to having live video feeds, the whole process is incredibly simple and user-friendly, and it is incredibly reassuring to know that they offer 24/7 support if you ever run into a snag or have a quick question.
Motion technic is on point and seems to be an exact real time. The quality of the picture is also very good from my iPhone and notifications will pop up if it sees anything. I also like that it has AI built into it.
The price point on this 2-pack is amazing for what you actually get. Because these are dual-sided cameras, you are essentially getting four different cameras for the price of two. With this setup, you get two lenses monitoring the inside of your home and two lenses watching the outside through the window, giving you complete coverage without having to buy double the equipment.
One of my absolute favorite features is the local storage option. You can simply slide your own little memory chip right into the unit. This means you can record what you need without being forced into a costly monthly subscription fee, which saves so much money in the long run. Between the easy installation, dual-lens coverage, excellent price, and the ability to skip the monthly fees, this is a 5-star product all day long. I highly recommend it!

Easy to setup. Does require app and account creation. Good video quality.
I like that it's a 2 pack. Installation was simple. It does require an app, and there is a subscription eventually needed for online storage. We have another botslab camera here so the app was already installed, but I remember my initial experience with the app wasn't bad.
Camera's where immediately found and setup to join the network was easy. Out of a small sense of security, we do install our cameras on a different private network, but I can see where others might be concerned both sending their security files to a cloud server, but also having devices like these on their personal network. This device does require a bit of access to a network or at least phone for initial setup.
Video quality from the camera is decent. HD+ quality is solid and night video is good also. Motion detection and alerts is good and controllable. The inside cameras are limited when it comes to recording, which is a good thing, but it's nice being able to check up on the pets or give a quick glance without leaving the office if I hear a noise. The quality is a step down on the inner camera, but it's not bad. Though the inner camera is an odd thing because of curtains :) One of the cameras actually is completely blocked because of this.
For the money, the system was easy to setup and does work.

Decent home security camera
I've had a few outside security cameras but eventually they've not worked out (fallen off broke, tampered with, taken off, etc.). I saw this indoor camera and thought I'd give it a try. This camera was straightforward to set up (remember to clean the window surface of where you want to adhere it to :) The bluetooth connection is okay. It drops every now and then. It may be the 2.4GHz vs 5GHz network I have. Quality of the camera is decent, it's clear in the daytime, but at nighttime was so-so. The motion detection works for catching people movement down to size of dogs, but any smaller it did not detect. I do appreciate the color versus black-n-white. I haven't thought about a subscription, I am using the 512GB local storage for now. The other features are good such as I like that multiple family members can view the camera (up to 5), more eyes the better! Price is decent for the sense of security my family gets.

Cute camera
This camera has a sleek, compact design and feels well made right out of the box. The included adhesive mount feels sturdy, and the camera itself is lightweight without feeling flimsy.
I charged the camera for about an hour before testing it. The picture quality is clear, and I was pleasantly surprised by how loud and easy to hear the built-in speaker is. Both the video and audio exceeded my expectations for such a compact device.
The protective lens cover is a thoughtful addition, helping keep the lens clean when the camera isn’t in use. The overall design is modern and minimal, and the size makes it easy to place discreetly around the home or office.
Setup is straightforward, and the build quality gives a good first impression. If you’re looking for a small security camera that doesn’t take up much space and includes a convenient magnetic mounting option, this is definitely worth considering.
Overall, I’m impressed with the design, portability, and quality of the materials.

Awesome little camera
This is a great little camera. It small enough so it’s not front and center when you look at the window. I also like that it mounts inside so it can’t be tampered with from the outside of your house. This is rechargeable and easy enough to remove to recharge or leave in place while charging if it’s not too far from an outlet. The picture quality is very good to which is a main concern when purchasing a security camera!

Easy Setup, No Drilling, and Surprisingly Sharp Dual‑Lens Video
This BOTSLAB window camera is a smart little security upgrade if you want both indoor and outdoor coverage without drilling holes or mounting hardware. The dual‑lens setup is genuinely useful — one lens watches outside through the window, and the other keeps an eye on the inside. The video quality is sharp and colorful, especially with the TrueColor night vision, which avoids that washed‑out grayscale look many cameras have.
Setup was simple, and the adhesive mount holds well on the glass. The app is straightforward, and the motion detection picks up activity quickly without constant false alerts. I like that it’s a no‑drill design — perfect for renters or anyone who doesn’t want to damage window frames.
The only thing to keep in mind is that window placement matters. You’ll get the best outdoor clarity if the glass is clean and the camera sits flush. Once positioned correctly, it performs really well. The Range is great for this.
If you want an easy, dual‑view camera that installs in minutes and gives you clear footage day or night, this one does the job nicely.

Worked Once, Then Wouldn't Reconnect
I really wanted this camera to work, but my experience was disappointing. It connected and worked briefly during the initial setup, but after that I couldn't get it to reconnect no matter what I tried. A security camera isn't very useful if it can't maintain a reliable connection. The installation was easy enough, but the connectivity issues made it unreliable for monitoring my home. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it based on my experience.

Clever window camera with good image quality and a so-so app
I had never used a security camera specifically made to mount on a window and look outside through the glass. I have used plenty of indoor cameras, and I have used outdoor cameras mounted outside, but this is a different idea. When I saw this BOTSLAB dual-lens window camera, I was intrigued enough to try it.
After using it, I am pretty happy with it. It is a clever camera, the image quality is better than I expected, and the dual-view setup is actually more useful than I thought it would be.
The main idea here is that the camera mounts indoors on a window, with one camera viewing outside and another viewing inside. That gives you two views from one device. The listing describes it as a 4MP / 2.5K dual-view window camera with an outward camera and an inward camera. For a security setup, that can make sense because you can watch what is happening outside while also keeping an eye on the indoor area near the window. In our case, we put it in the window where the cats like to sit and watch birds, and it has been a fun use for it. We can see the cats, and we can also see the birds they are watching outside.
That is not the most serious security use, but it is a great test of the camera’s actual usefulness. A lot of cameras look good in product listings but end up being frustrating once placed in a normal home. This one has been easy enough to live with, and the picture from both cameras is surprisingly good.
The hardware feels better than I expected. The camera does not feel cheap. It has a good, high-quality feel in hand, and the mounting hardware seems well thought out. The kit includes what you need to mount it, plus extra pieces, which I appreciate. Window mounting can be tricky because you want the camera secure without drilling, damaging trim, or creating a messy setup. This kit feels like someone actually thought through the installation.
The no-drill setup is a big part of the appeal. Not everyone wants to mount an outdoor camera, run wiring outside, drill through siding, or put holes in walls or window frames. A window camera avoids a lot of that. It also keeps the camera indoors, which protects it from rain, wind, snow, insects, dirt, and temperature swings. For renters, apartments, offices, dorm rooms, temporary setups, or people who simply do not want to mount a camera outside, this design makes sense.
The listing states that it supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, which is a nice feature. A lot of smart cameras still only support 2.4GHz. Having 5GHz support can make setup and connection easier in some homes, depending on router placement and network conditions. Bluetooth setup is also listed, and the overall setup process was not bad.
The outward-facing image quality has been good. Looking through glass is not always easy for a camera. Reflections, glare, headlights, interior room lights, and nighttime conditions can all create problems. The listing specifically calls out anti-glare and anti-reflection design, along with AI TrueColor night vision. I cannot say it eliminates every possible reflection in every situation, but the image quality has been better than I expected for a window-mounted camera.
The inward camera is also useful, but buyers should understand its limitation. The listing states that the outward camera supports 24/7 recording, while the inward-facing camera supports live viewing only and does not record. That is an important detail. If you are buying this because you want both indoor and outdoor footage recorded, read that carefully. For us, live viewing of the cats is fine. For security use, some buyers may want both views recorded.
The ability to use a TF card is a big plus. The listing says it supports local storage up to 512GB, with the card sold separately. I like local storage options because I do not want every camera to require a cloud subscription just to be useful. Optional cloud storage is fine, but I prefer having the ability to record locally. It makes the camera more flexible and can reduce ongoing costs.
The app is probably the weakest part of the overall experience. I am using the Apple iOS version of the app, and it is not the greatest. It works, but it is not as polished as I would like. That is pretty typical with many smart cameras in this category. The hardware can be better than the software. I was still able to use the camera and view the feeds, but the app experience keeps this from feeling fully refined.
The listing mentions AI human detection, real-time notifications, smart descriptive alerts, and a one-second search feature with a trial period. Those are interesting features, but I would not buy the camera only for the AI/search side unless you are comfortable with whatever trial or cloud service terms apply. My main interest is the camera hardware, window placement, local storage, and dual view. Those are the things I know I will use.
Two-way audio is also listed, and that may be useful depending on placement. For a front window, it could let you speak through the camera if someone is near the house. For our cat window setup, it is more of a bonus than a main feature. With cameras like this, I usually think of audio as a nice extra rather than the main reason to buy.
One thing I do wish it had is a battery. I knew before getting it that it does not, so I am not taking points off for that. It is a wired camera. For a window camera that may stay installed long-term, wired power is not a bad thing because you do not have to keep charging it. The downside is that you need to place it where the power cable can be managed cleanly. If you want a completely cordless camera, this is not that.
For security use, the indoor-mounted design has pros and cons. The biggest pro is that the camera is protected and harder to tamper with from outside. The biggest possible downside is that you are still viewing through glass, so performance depends on the window, lighting, angle, glare, and cleanliness. A dirty window or strong interior reflection can affect any through-glass camera. This one is designed to deal with those issues better than a normal indoor camera pointed out a window, but placement still matters.
I would recommend testing placement before final mounting. Try it at different heights and angles. Check daytime image quality, nighttime image quality, interior reflection, and whether lights inside the room affect the outside view. If the window has screens, tint, double-pane reflections, or bright interior lights, those can all affect the picture. This camera gives you a better starting point than a normal indoor camera, but setup still matters.
The cat-window use has honestly been more fun than expected. We can see what the cats are doing at the window, and we can see the birds outside that have their attention. For pet owners, this kind of dual view is surprisingly entertaining. It also shows how versatile the camera can be beyond basic security. You could use it for a front yard, driveway, porch, backyard, bird feeder, pet area, fish tank area, or any window where seeing both sides would be useful.
At the cost at the time of my review, I think the value is decent. It costs more than some basic indoor cameras, but it also does something more specific. A normal indoor camera pointed through a window often struggles badly with glare and reflections, especially at night. This one is made for the window role, includes the mounting hardware, has two cameras, supports local storage, and feels better built than many cheaper cameras I have handled.
I would not call it perfect. The app could be better, the lack of battery limits placement flexibility, and some of the smarter features appear tied to trial or cloud-related services. The inward camera live-view-only limitation should also be understood before buying. Still, the core camera hardware has been good, and I like the design.
Overall, I am giving this 4 stars. It is a well-made, clever, no-drill window camera with surprisingly good picture quality from both cameras. It has been fun and useful in the window where our cats watch birds, and I can see it also being useful for front windows, porches, yards, driveways, pet rooms, and other indoor/outdoor monitoring setups. The app is not my favorite, and I wish the software side felt as polished as the hardware, but the camera itself is very good.
Pros:
* Clever dual-lens design lets you see outside and inside from one window setup
* Better image quality than I expected from both cameras
* Designed specifically for window mounting
* No drilling required
* Kit includes the mounting hardware and extras
* Hardware feels solid and not cheap
* Good option for renters or people who do not want outdoor mounting
* Useful for front windows, yards, porches, driveways, pet areas, and bird-watching windows
* Supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi
* TF card slot allows local storage up to 512GB
* Optional cloud storage if you want it
* Outward camera supports 24/7 recording
* Fun setup for watching cats and the birds they are watching
* Decent value at the cost at the time of my review
Cons:
* App is not the greatest, at least on iOS
* No built-in battery
* Needs wired power
* Inward-facing camera supports live viewing only, not recording
* Some AI/search features appear to involve trial or cloud service elements
* Through-glass performance still depends on window angle, reflections, lights, screens, and placement
* More expensive than a basic indoor camera
* Buyers should test placement before committing to final mounting

Clever Window Camera That Installs in Minutes
This dual-lens window camera is a great option if you want to monitor outside without drilling holes or running wires. The no-drill installation was quick, and the dual-lens design gives a much wider view than a typical indoor camera looking through a window. The anti-glare technology helps reduce reflections, and the full-color night vision provides a clear picture after dark. AI human detection helps cut down on unnecessary alerts, and having both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi made setup easy. The ability to record 24/7 is another big plus for anyone wanting continuous coverage. Overall, it’s a smart, renter-friendly security camera that offers a lot of useful features in one compact package.

Dual View Security Camera with Excellent Image Quality and Practical Everyday Use.
From the moment I took this camera out of the box, I could tell it was made with quality materials and felt very well built. The installation was straightforward and similar to most smart security cameras. I simply scanned the QR code, connected it to my home WiFi, and it was ready to use within minutes. The image quality is excellent, but the feature that impressed me the most is the dual camera design. It records both indoors and outdoors at the same time, making it feel like having two cameras in one device. In my case, it has been especially useful because I can monitor the entrance to my backyard while also keeping an eye on my pets inside the house. My family travels frequently, and there are times when our cat stays home alone for a day or two, so being able to check that he is moving around normally and going to his water bowl gives me extra peace of mind. I also appreciate the option to use a microSD card for local storage instead of relying on a cloud subscription. Overall, this has been a versatile and reliable camera with impressive image quality, and based on my experience, I would happily recommend it.

Pretty reasonable Ai camera!
This window security camera is very well made and has a unique design. It is specifically shaped like a cat, which makes me think a lot of people might choose this specifically for monitoring their indoor or outdoor pets.
The dual-camera setup is a great concept. The outward-facing camera handles the continuous recording, and the built-in AI detection works fairly well for the most part when it comes to picking up activity outside. A huge plus is that there are no added costs or mandatory subscription fees for the cloud storage right now, and you also have the option to use local internal storage if you prefer.
The only important thing to know is how the inward-facing camera functions. The internal camera is only able to be used in a live feed format. You can manually record footage while you are actively watching the live view, but you cannot set the camera to automatically record or monitor the indoors the way it does for the outdoors.
Overall, it is a clever, reliable, and solid security option for keeping an eye on your property without dealing with monthly fees.
