Great mic for a group podcast.

This is a great set. I search for four wireless mics for the new iPhone and came across these. After a quick charge. These things did the job I do a video cast with 2 to 4 people occasionally so this mic has great pick up and works really well.

Included stickers?

Mics seem great but what are the included stickers for?

Awesome mic set-up for creators

I picked this up for some content creation and casual interviews, and I’m honestly super impressed. The sound quality is really clear, and the noise cancellation actually works better than I expected — even when I’m outside or there’s background noise, my voice still comes through crisp.

What I really love is how easy it is to set up. You just plug it into your iPhone (I have the 15), and it pretty much pairs itself. No complicated settings or extra apps needed. The whole system feels really user-friendly.

The wireless range is also a huge win — I’ve tested it around the house, and it stayed connected way farther than I thought it would. And the battery life is solid. I haven’t run out during a shoot yet, and the charging case is great for keeping everything powered up between sessions.

The mics themselves are small, lightweight, and come with clips, so it’s easy to just pop one on and start recording. I’ve used it for vlogs, podcast-style content, and even a few TikToks — and it works great every time.

Only slight downside is that it’s not super compact when you’re carrying the whole case around, but that’s really not a big deal considering how well it works.

Overall: If you’re doing any kind of content creation or just want better audio for your videos, this mic is 100% worth it. Great sound, easy to use, and totally reliable. Love it!

Recording WITH NO VOLUME ADJUSTMENT, Bad for live mics

I have several issues with this item. It functions, sounds good, and is small and versatile so I will credit that, however I tried to do lots of research before ordering this to ensure it would work for my uses and alot of the features I expected to have are not possible. I have not used them fully for an extended period of time however have done alot of setup and testing and here are my findings:

1.) Mic volumes are not individually adjustable, the suggested work around for this is recording audio separately and adjust accordingly, which completely defeats the 4 channel mic purpose.

Other option is positioning the mics accordingly (loud speaking: farther from the face, quiet speaking, closer to the space). That is simply not possible for my uses as I selected tiny mics to fit into helmets for sports demonstrations.

2.) Based on some reviews I was led to believe this could plug directly into a speaker to play live without the need of a device. There is no way to do this, even with a speaker with the correct data input ports.

3.) The Boya Central app does not work with this model. I had this confirmed by tech support.

4.) Boya support is terrible. Poor English, and no effort to understand the problem before asking for almost impossible evidence of the alleged issue. My initial email listed the problem and model number, it took 4 more for them to tell me "Usually our V mic doesn't work with the app" with no indication of whether or not it should. They mostly just reiterated the problems I was having back to me in broken english, and then eventually said things should be that way.

5.) Suggested I use "their other app" SmartRecorder, which shows no affiliation to them and I found only one review stating they hope the app store takes care of this obvious scam. This app has some specific mixing qualities and records, but I do not know if it has anything to do with playing live audio feed and when asked support gave an answer that made no sense and "hope this helps".

6.) Must use 3rd party apps just to play live audio feed from the mics to a speaker, and selecting one that continues when app is closed can be difficult to find

7.) The pod/case does not charge the receiver, that must be charged separately.

8.) The design of the receiver, the type C, or lightning connection does not protrude enough to be used with most phone cases will need an adapter or to remove case to use

I haven't gotten to using these yet, and I really hope they work okay, but I am already disappointed.

Excellent choice for more than 2 people simultaneous recording.

This wireless microphone system is a game-changer for anyone who creates content with more than 2 people at the same time, whether you're a podcaster, vlogger, or journalist. It comes with four individual transmitters, making it perfect for multi-person interviews or group discussions. Setting it up is a breeze—it's a true plug-and-play experience. You just take the receiver and transmitters out of the charging case, and they automatically pair with your device. The best part is that the receiver draws power from your device, so you don't have to worry about charging it.

Pros

Excellent Sound Quality: The audio quality is surprisingly good, especially for the price. The sound is clear and neutral, with minimal noise. It doesn't sound "muffled" like some other affordable wireless mics.

Impressive Range: With a range of up to 200 meters (about 656 feet), you have a lot of freedom to move around without losing your connection. This is a huge plus for outdoor shoots or dynamic video content. I have to admit I did not test the range. I was a few feet away from the receiver and it worked flawlessly.

Multi-Person Use: Having four separate transmitters is a major advantage. It makes this system perfect for interviews, panels, or any situation where multiple people need to be mic'd up.

Solid Battery Life: Each mic transmitter provides several hours of use, and the included charging case extends the total battery life to an impressive 18 hours. This is more than enough for long recording sessions. I did not test this myself. But I have other BOYA mics and the battery is long lasting.

User-Friendly: It's incredibly easy to set up and use. The system connects instantly to your device, and you don't need any special apps or complicated settings. It works flawlessly with Android, iOS, and PCs.

Effective Noise Cancellation: While the noise cancellation isn't perfect in extremely loud environments, it does a great job of reducing most background noise, resulting in a cleaner sound. I don’t like it, though. It sounds artificial. But I’m an audio engineer so I prefer to use post processing noise canceling plug-ins. I understand that most people don’t have the knowledge or money to do this, so the noise canceling is a viable option for the general population.

Cons

Not for Extreme Noise: The noise cancellation can be a little inconsistent in very noisy places. Some users felt that the sound quality could be slightly compromised in these situations.

Receiver Size: The receiver is a bit larger than expected, which might be a minor inconvenience if you're using it with a very thin mobile device.

Windscreen: While some windscreens are included, they may not be fully effective in very windy conditions. Those are not wind muff they are more like a pop filter.

Summary / Overall

This wireless mic system is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a versatile and reliable audio solution. The ability to use four microphones at once is a major selling point, making it stand out from other products on the market. The long range and fantastic battery life add to its appeal, giving you the freedom to create content without being tethered to your device. It offers a great balance of features and performance for its price.

Verdict: Buy. If you're a content creator who needs to record interviews, podcasts, or videos with multiple people, this is a fantastic investment that provides great value for the price.

Low quality sound, questionably functional features. Replacement better though

Cons:

There are unpleasant audio aberrations when speaking that are worsened by noise cancellation. See attached video for example. It sounds like my voice is being possessed and at times coming from an Olympic swimming pool in a warehouse, although the microphones and receiver are all on my person at all times. The "sound, sound" vs "slash sound" switch tested in the video is the mute switch on the receiver, which seems to do something for less than a second and then return to sounding identical to the other side of the switch. Note - these issues were replicated with only one mic connected as well.

Pros:

Plug and play - easy to use. Sleek design. Convenient carrying/charging case that fits everything.

Update: they did send me a replacement that worked much better (I accidentally broke the receiver by dropping my phone while it was plugged in). While it was still alive though, it had quite good sound quality and synchronicity between mics. The mute still didn't function, and the mics got easily out of sync by toggling and on one, for example. However, they could be re-synced by re-docking the mics. I am actually going to order another one in case I can't solder back together the receiver port I broke.

Great mics

This is the perfect set of mics when you record pickup basketball games and/or podcast style video. It comes with 4 mics and one receiver. The mics are very small and the receiver has a built in usb-c connector for cellphones and other compatible devices.

The sound quality it much better and consistent from various distances over using the internal mic on a cellphone. These automatically connected when I removed the plastic covers for the charge ports and put them back in the case. They are a great budget offering when you need more than 2 mics.

Small and simple

These lavalier microphones arrived intact and neatly packaged in a retail shelf-ready box. The case that these come in remind me off the little bluetooth earbuds that I use. The bottom of the microphones have little metal dots on opposites end of the c-cable allowing these to charge while in its case. And the c-cable allows each to be charged independently. The clips are pretty strong. They work well and are convenient to stow among other equipment. Overall, I would recommend this microphone kit

some formidable microphones

Great microphones, they provide clean audio with excellent sound. So far I have only used 3 microphones simultaneously and they have worked wonderfully. The noise cancellation is good, not at the highest level but it works well. The battery of the microphones is good but I love that the case can charge them.
