Don't forget to download the driver if you have an old computer.
I bought this network card last year for my Dell 9020 Windows 10 computer when I had 1gb internet service so didn't download the drivers for it since I was getting 1gb. Last week I upgraded my service to Ting 2gb service, but forgot to update my drivers. My speedtests were showing 2gb downloads, but only 1gb upload. I download the driver from BrosTrend's website and started getting 2gb up and down.

Inexpensive but works well.
Worked out of box on Win 10, However had asymmetric speeds download vs upload. Installed realtek drivers and now speeds are max on both upload and download. One possible con I have encountered was radio frequency interference to my analog audio out put. Possiblly caused by installing it in pcie slot next to audio headers on mother board. Work around was to switch to usb speakers. All is great now.

Speeds beyond my plan
Installed for my 2gig Internet plan. Went beyond what I was expecting for speeds. Great buy!

Fast and necessary for broadband greater than 1G (just ensure your switch is 2.5G or greater)!
If you have a hard wired network at home and are using CAT5E or greater network cables and are still using a gigabit ethernet card, it might be time to upgrade to 2.5G especially if you have greater than 1G broadband. This card does 2.5G transfers flawlessly and is a simple plug and play PCI-E card. Windows 11 instantly recognizes it without the need to install any drivers. It does come with a small format CD to install drivers for older systems that don't recognize it. My simple test is always running the usual gigabit ethernet card (built into the motherboard on most PC's) and checking the bandwidth (I have 1200 Mbps download connectivity although it gives me a little more). Without a 2.5 Gbps ethernet card I would always get less than 1G downloads (see my speed test results, I only got 700 Mbps download). Install the 2.5G card and ensure you match it with a at least 2.5G network switch otherwise you'll defeat the upgrade and I get over my 1200 Mbps download speed (closer to 1300 Mbps). It works excellent.
Transferring files back and forth between my PC's on my home network is speedy now. Your drives have to be fast otherwise the drives will be the bottleneck, but , transferring between two M.2 drives that can handle over 2.5G gives blazing fast results. For the price and quality of this 2.5G card, it's worth every penny!

Good Ethernet Card!
Does what it should. Installing the drivers was simple. Only problem I encountered is that neither of the two brackets supplied fits my case. Besides that I am happy with this purchase.

Incredible product at a great price
This really is an Incredible product at a great price. It took my all of 30 seconds to slide the adapter into the PCIE slot and screw It into the case, and immediately I was getting 2gigs down (what my internet is capped at). Very pleased with this. Now I just hope it lasts!

Fast, Reliable, and Future-Proof – Excellent Network Upgrade!
I recently upgraded my PC with the BrosTrend 2.5Gb PCIe Network Adapter, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I installed it, the difference in speed and stability was clear. Setup was quick and easy—Windows 10 recognized the card immediately and installed the necessary drivers without any issues.
The jump from standard 1 Gigabit Ethernet to 2.5Gbps has been a game-changer for transferring large files across my home NAS and streaming 4K content with zero buffering. The included low-profile bracket was a great bonus for fitting into my compact build, and the build quality of the card itself feels solid and premium.
The fact that it comes with limited lifetime protection is just the cherry on top—it’s clear the company stands by their product. If you're looking to future-proof your network setup or simply want faster and more stable wired performance, this card is an outstanding value.
Highly recommended!

Not getting the full speed as advertised
Easy install, and setup, BUT, it's capping out at about 1gig speed. I tested a different brand card in my system and I was getting about 1.9gig. The lights show it's receiving 2.5G service, but all speed tests are showing around 960 - 1100 Mbs. So I will return and try another model/brand. I DO have 2.5Mbs internet service and 2.5mbs Switch for sure.,

Performance is worse than stock Intel/Realtek 1 GBPS adapter on motherboard
I am under impressed.
I have fiber optic service rated at 2.2 GBPS (see attached image of router speed test).
I installed the BrosTrend 2.5 Gb PCIe network card, installed the drivers from the disc, and updated drivers from the website.
I expected performance in the 2 GBPS range. Instead I got below 1 GBPS performance that was slower than my stock internet adapter (motherboard) rated at 1 GBPS. In fact, the stock Intel/Realtek motherboard adapter has better performance.
I ensured that the connection from the BrosTrend 2.5 Gb PCIe network card had the best chance to win my favor, I connected it directly to the router Ethernet port using a cat6a cable. Performance is below 1 GBPS and slower than the Intel/Realtek on-board adapter.
Under whelming.

From a drone to a fighter jet...
This was the first I had heard of this brand. The price is amazing! I opened the case, installed the card, tightened 1 screw, and installed the drivers. Yeah! I went from mid-800 MBPS to a consistent 2100 MBPS.
I am not sure if this matters to you, yet I run a 150-foot CAT 7 cable from the Xfinity modem to my PC, directly connected to this little network card. The difference is day vs. night. I wish I had done this back when Xfinity first offered the service. Now I'm thinking I need a NAS! Very happy and truly surprised with BrosTrend. ]: )

Doesn’t seat in properly for mid tower case
Ordered this because I recently upgraded 1g fiber but have to return it as it doesn’t seat in properly to the PCIe slot. When pushing the network card into the PCIe slot, the bracket will become misaligned and realigning the bracket will unseat the network card from the PCIe slot.

Works great in old Dell XPS 8900 Win 10 PC
Very happy with this BrosTrend 2.5GB NIC. I installed it to attach an older Dell XPS 8900 Windows 10 PC to my 2.5GB network. I switched the card out to get the full speed of my Xfinity 1.2 GB plan. Speed test with 1GB NIC used to be 600-800 and now it's 1340-1420. Install was very easy and the card worked without any issues. I have only had it installed for a few days so I will update if there are any problems. It was nice that there was a 20% off coupon when I purchased it too!

Great durable card and easy to install.
This card works great and will get the job done. I only have a 1G internet connection but, I use this for file transfers between computers. It is super-fast. The card is made well, and I expect it to last a long time. I have been building computers for decades and I know a quality product when I see one. This is definitely a nice upgrade, and worthy of consideration. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a fast ethernet connection.

Simple to install, works as advertised
It was very easy to install, I have two other 2.5 Gb cards that have been tested on this same system.
This one was the easiest to install.
Latency is as good as my other cards if not better by 1 to 4 ms in both gaming and online speed tests, which could be considered margin of error to be honest.
Have been using it for few days now and I'm very satisfied with it, will recommend.

PCIe card installs easy and setup is simple. Works Great!
I have a Dell XPS-8940 with 1 slot open and this card worked perfectly. I downloaded the drivers from the website (listed in the instructions), installed the PCIe card, turned my PC on, and finished installing the drivers. I didn't experience any problems installing the card or installing the drivers and I am getting noticeably faster network speeds. The PCIe card appears to be made well and they support it with a limited lifetime warranty. I have been using this for over a week and I haven't experienced any problems. I feel the price is very good for this quality and I highly recommend this.

LP bracket included
I use this in my NAS with zero issues, and being 2.5G it is more then quick for my home, my PC has 5G but that is nothing I need today so this is perfect. Been using it for about a week without no hiccups, the LP bracket is a nice to have, I know weird I am adding that like it's a cool extra, but I bought other items like this in the past that did not come with it, so this was a nice addition.
So if you know what you are looking for, then you know what you found. This is the next generation of Internet NIC cards. 2.5GB speeds on a CAT5+ cord. It has the Realtek chipset which is pretty much build in to Windows or Linux OS's.
The card comes with both the long card back panel for most PC's, and the short back for rack mounts and mini PC's.
I like that it has3 LED lights on the back of it, one for the 100mb, one for 1000mb, and another for 2500mb so you know right away if you're getting the high speed connection or not. Easy to troubleshoot as well, and when you get that 2.5GB speed, you really notice the difference.
