Plug and play

So works well on my wife's wheeler she can't forget this one like she does her hand held when we split up in the pastures we can communicate well

Save your money.

Save your money, I had to return this item once already. You’re better off with a 5w hand held as a mobile station. This 20w mobile radio can’t reach repeaters that my 5w radio can reach. Not worth the money. Quality control is very bad.

Great budget gmrs radio

The only complaint I have is it doesn't use the traditional metal button to hang. Other than that it's a great radio. It is not hard to get the license for gmrs, and programing is also very easy.

Sleek simple to use, but powerful GMRS radio

BTech's sleek and very compact GMRS 20V2 mobile radio is an awesome radio. This radio is super compact, easy to install, portable, and most of all, it is very easy to program and use. Make sure and purchase the programming cable when you order it. Included instructions are very straightforward and easy to understand. I have several radios, and these are the best instructions I have received with a GMRS radio. Download the latest software download of "Chirp", and you can program it. I have been an avid offroader , kayaker, backpacker, etc, and wish I had a radio like this years ago.

The Btech 20V2 can be used out of a back pack with a power source and antenna as well. So many uses due to it being easy, compact, and especially it's 20 watt output. Will mount in any vehicle it is so compact. I use mine in my Jeep Wrangler. Absolutely love the radio! Nice job BTech!!

Powerful Full 20 watts

I can’t say enough about how much I love this radio it actually puts out what it says plus it’s a little weird to control but once you get it set up using the chirp software it’s pretty simple. The only downside is I did not receive any type of clamp to hang the microphone, but I’ll 3-D print something. Not sure if it was supposed to come with it or not, great Radio highly recommend

Lies, Not 200 Fully Customizable Channels for GMRS

I did have a little trouble geting chirp to locate the cable after it was plugged in. When I got it to work is when I found out that the description was false. It can only transmit on the 22 simplix channels and 8 repeater channel's. I live in an area where there are several GMRS repeaters that use a diffrent PL Tone than the 141.3 that are on most open repeaters. So the description of 200 Fully Customizable Channels for GMRS sounded like it was the radio that I was looking for. Turns out none of the extra channels can be set up to use on other repeaters. I will be returning since it is not as describe.

Better Than Expected

Love 99% of this radio from the size of the data box to size and weight of the mic/display. I deducted 1% for not having a hanger buttons on the mic. It does come with a hanger hook which works but not ideal. Others made mention of no volume knob/dial. Within 5 mins of introductory use you’ll be amazed as to how this unit is easy-to-use. I would purchase again.

Not even close to 20W

The first unit that I received appeared used and put out zero power. I exchanged. The second unit works, but only puts out 13W. I have confidence in my power meter. On my 50W ham, it reads 49W.

This radio is fairly complicated to operate.
