Faulty light strings
Should have tested the light string before installing. Got everything set up and there's a dead LED or faulty circuitry killing the rest of the lights.

Work as expected, pricing could be better

I ordered this to use with the LED channel sold by the same seller, it was easy to install and fit perfectly. I haven't used it in a final project yet (will be installed in a desk hutch) but I did power it on to check how bright it gets and how good the colors look, both were excellent. The strip is prewired so you can check functionality right away without having to make your own connections. I am very happy with the quality of this and feel it is a great value.

These aren't the best led lights out there, but they work and get bright. I had no issues using them with several different controllers, and the adhesive has held up well of the past couple of weeks. I think they're kind of expensive considering they're not very dense. There's definitely better value options out there.

Connected these up through WLED using a Gledopto ESP32 controller. The color saturation on these is awesome. The brightness when paired with a 12v 5a power supply is crazy bright! I had to turn down the brightness to about 35% or my phone just couldn't even focus on the light. I'm going to be mounting these above my kitchen cabinets for mood lighting. You can't beat the quality of BTF LED strips....they are honestly the best ones I've worked with to date. Easy to solder, easy to cut, easy to connect. If you want the awesome effects of Govee but NOT be trapped in their awful app and closed ecosystem, I highly recommend pairing up these strips with a decent controller.

If you need a brand of RGBW LEDs, this is your brand. They are beautiful and work wonderfully.
I use WLED to power them. They are super bright and love the colors, very saturated and just pop.
This is my bar that I am getting put together.
These are installed on aluminum tracks. Easy to cut and solder new wire for the second set of lights.

I really like the quality of this LED light strip. It feels very durable and well made, definitely not flimsy like some other brands. The colors are vibrant and beautiful, making it perfect for both mood lighting and accent decor.
One of the best features is its versatility because it is IP67 waterproof, so you can safely use it both indoors and outdoors. Whether you’re lighting up a room or adding ambiance to your patio, it works great.
The functionality depends on the controller you use. I went with a recommended one, and setup was incredibly simple, basically plug and play. Everything worked right out of the box with no hassle.
Highly recommend this strip if you’re looking for a high quality, easy-to-use LED lighting solution!

I got this RGBW LED strip for better color quality than plain RGB. It works well with WLED and its automatic white support, illuminating the room more naturally when using less-saturated (more white) colors. Individual addressability is nice, especially on a 12V strip which usually is limited to segments of multiple LEDs. I chose the cool white version for better compatibility with color generation, given that neutral and cool probably aren't supported as well for automatic color calculations. I was not able to get a nice-looking warm white (W+R+G), even tweaking the levels; the blue bump for white is prominent, and mixing red in gives a red bump, with no way to add yellow to smooth it out. So if using for room lighting, go with the neutral or warm white. If you need RGB with separate white, these are a good value from a brand I've had good experience with in the past.
Strip is durable. Like most, it's made up of shorter strips soldered together. These have a good overlap at joints, preventing extra bending at the solder joints. Each section is 30 LEDs long (ten sections total). Installation is pretty easy with adhesive backing. Uses thin white adhesive backing, which holds OK. I prefer stick-on clips with a hinged arm that clicks on the front, for ease of changes later on.
Power draw was 35.2W for R+G+B at 50%, and 27.6W for white at 50%, so a 60W power supply would be reasonable. All channels at 100% would draw around 100W, more than I could test with my power supply. When off the strip draws 4.8W. Spectral plots in power test photos.

These are bright, vibrant, great looking lights - highly recommend.
To begin, if you are running the full 16 feet at once, you will want a decent power supply (I picked a 20A max power supply).
I typically use a ESP32 running WLED with a separate power supply to run these. With only three contacts (12v, data, and ground), the installation was very simple. The color of the white is great for areas like garages or work spaces (using them for under cabinets in my garage work space).
Overall, these are highly recommend and a great value for money!

As usual, BTF Lighting makes a quality product. These 12V addressable LEDs work great with WLED and are plenty bright for accent lighting use cases. The white channel clocks in at 3200K with a CRI of 85. Not great for primary white lighting, but for illuminating a shelf or something similar, it'll work great.

I’ve used several LED strips from this manufacturer before, and these 12-volt SK6812 RGBW strips continue that tradition of quality and reliability. They deliver vibrant colors and smooth lighting effects, making them a great choice for projects needing the extra white channel alongside RGB.
One important note: these strips require a 12-volt power supply, so be sure to provide the correct voltage and a common ground to avoid any issues. If you’re integrating them with Arduino or similar boards, I recommend using the Adafruit NeoPixel library with the NEO_GRBW + NEO_KHZ800 setting for best results, as these strips differ slightly from the more common 5V WS2812 strips but are fully compatible with well-established libraries.

All my DIY strips are BTF. Currently I am working on illuminating my game room. Strip is inside a v channel so these 60 LED per meter does the job since the hot spots are not seen on a corner channel facing inside the bookshelf. Of viewable Od recommend using Muzata spotless Chanel U108 or U109. I am using WLED running on a GLEDOPTO ESP32 Mini WLED LED Controller.
