I have been using this particular eye mask for years, it is such a bummer that they changed the design. It used to have a soft piece of material that covered the bridge of the nose and now it’s just one solid semi soft continuous piece. The old model had a soft strap vs the new one which has a stiff Velcro one. If only I had tried it before I threw away the package. I will not be purchasing again. I will post a photo of the side by side.

The eye mask is thick, so you can't sleep on your side.
And there is a problem, the mask always disappears after getting up.

I love this item. I don't use it every night because sometimes I fall asleep watching TV but when I do remember I always wake up refreshed. I have allergies and usually wake up with very puffy and red eyes. When I wake up after a night of sleeping with this the puffiness and redness is not an issue. There is a velcro strap in the back which makes it adjustable. I was worried it would snag my hair but it doesnt. The ear plugs are a bright green which helps me keep track of them and most night i keep the ear plugs on the mask - which has two loops on the side to hold the ear plugs. The velcro also means I can wear this when I do roller sets on my hair. The best part is the mask is so soft on the inside. You can kind of see from the picture that there is a padded bridge for the nose and extra padding around the eyes & space for your eyelids. I love this mask.
As far as blocking out the sun - it does that too. Wearing this does give me a better night sleep and I look better in the morning as well.

This is the perfect sleep mask! It has comfortable foam surrounding the eye so that every speck of light is blocked! The material is soft and lightweight. It also comes with some earplugs which attach the band around the mask. The band is adjustable and does not irritate me at all. This is perfect for traveling or just trying to sleep in a light setting. I use this every night now and could never go back to my old flimsy eye mask. It is so comfortable and I could not recommend this enough. I love it 10/10!!!!!!

In the last photo show what wrong with this mask. For me at least. The piece that goes over the nose hurts. It doesn’t work right.

I REALLY like this eyeshade. It does block out all light. And its comfortable. It has a soft foam piece that goes across your nose, and Its molded in a way that conforms to your face. It also has a nice wide elastic strap, that you can adjust to fit looser or tighter as you wish with a velcro strip. There are 2 little slots built in to the elastic to slide your earplugs in to, which are included. I didn't use the earplugs. My husband wakes up for work really early, when it's still dark, and he turns on closet, and bathroom lights to get ready by. With these, I just slip them on, and its completely dark.

I am a night-shift worker and when I tell you I have tried every mask out there, I am not exaggerating. The problem I always run into is that I cant stand to have anything touching my eyelids when I sleep. Most masks I have tried rest somewhat on my eyes, even if it's just slightly. This one does not! It has a nose pad that keeps it elevated off your eyes but provides total darkness. The lightweight design makes this absolutely perfect for me. I also did not realize it came with 2 ear plugs that have a convenient place to store them on the side of the Velcro band.
I will update my review after a couple weeks with continual wear but for the first couple times, they have a 10/10 vote from me!

This shade with earplugs is handy and comfortable. It has a built in bridge area for your nose and an adjustable strap to fit all heads. If you’re looking to block out light and sound, this mask is perfect. Great for those on the night shift sleeping during the day.

I wear a sleeping mask every night and I only wear they style that has eye air space between the cloth and my eyes (which this has). What makes this different is a higher nose cushion which blocks 100% of light (see photo). This design I believe would be perfect if your main struggle is nose light leaks. I had to loosen it from its original setting to make the nose cushion more comfortable for me. I love the flat velcro strap which is comfortable for sleeping. Rating 4 stars = Like It, one star off for the stiffer nose cushion being a bit uncomfortable, I am starting to get used to it.

* This Bucky eye mask does a good job of blocking out the light.
* Because of its thick inner padding, Bucky doesn't rest against your eyes. If your eyes are very sensitive to pressure, this might be a good eye mask for you.
* A down side is that, Bucky's inner padding makes this eye mask feel bulky on one's face. I prefer a flatter eye mask, such as the ones offered by Dream Essentials.
* Dream Essentials masks are cheaper, but don't last long. Their elastic bands wear out. Dream Essentials masks are disposable. By contrast, this Bucky eye mask is made of thick, long-lasting material. It closes with a thick, Velcro strap. Bucky is a long-lasting mask.

This sleep mask is soft, easily adjustable, and seems like it will hold up for a long time. With comfortable foam padding, it keeps out the light without pressing down on one's eyes. I like the pink pattern on the outside and very much appreciate that's it's black on the side against my face: I've used some masks whose pale fabric quickly showed any traces of mascara left on my eyes after wearing it. Plus, this mask comes with two earplugs which can be stored right on the side, making it perfect for travel. Such a great set!

They are awesome looking, first of all. The straps are elastic with "velcro" like ends that make this a good fit for tweens to super large adults. I took a picture of the underside and used filters to show you the secret feature. The black Matt fabric is nicely padded but there are 2 "wells" so that you have ample room for your eyelashes. During REM sleep, our eyes and lashes move quite a bit. This interferes less with that necessary part of restorative sleep. In addition to the indents, there is a "bolster" to block out light that can easily come from under your eyes due to the bridge of your nose. Noses are differently shaped and the bolster is rounded as it protudes off the mask, and attached to the mask as a thin single seem, allowing you to position the extra padding as you wish for maxium comfort and blockage of light.
I truly couldn't be happier with them. Take one more look at both of my photos. This sleep mask includes ear plugs! And as long as you put them back into their little holder on the strap after using them each day, you'll know right where to find them the next time you need them!

This is a fairly decent eye mask, however, I feel it isn't worth over more than $5-$10 (USD). It's just a basic eye mask with padded contouring around the eyes, which allows you to open your eyes underneath the mask. This may be nice for some, but a strange feeling to others, and as someone who wears contact lenses I wouldn't recommend this for contact lens wearers as the pressure from the bottom contouring can press on your contacts if it slips while you're sleeping.
What I do like about this eye mask is that is has a very nice strap that has built-in earplug holders which is pretty unique and handy! They even come with a set of earplugs in case you don't already have some.
The strap itself is very stretchy and can accommodate most adults. The strap - without the eye mask part itself included - measures roughly 7.5 inches when not stretched out and the velcro closure is strapped to it's absolute tightest part, and measures approximately 13-14 inches with the velcro closure strapped together at it's widest part (remember it stretches and that is not including the width of the eye mask itself which measures another 10 inches). So with the 10" of the mask, the smallest circumference is roughly 17-18" and the largest circumference is larger than 25+" plus the elastic of the band allowing for even more stretching if needed.

I've used eye masks for most of my life so I was looking forward to testing this out. For me they are just ok. I would not purchase them again. First the positives. I like that they are soft, they completely block out the light, they have an adjustable strap to fit my head, once fitted, the strap holds in place with good Velcro, and they have a cute little pocket to hold the ear plugs. Now to the negatives. I will never use the ear plugs so I don't need them or the pocket to hold them. While they are soft, they are not super soft like the package states. They are made from what feels like foam. They remind me of foam pillows in fact. Unfortunately I'm a side sleeper. That foam doesn't really flatten much so my head ends up on the pillow at an angle where the mask is. It's really uncomfortable. In addition to the foam on the mask, there's a big molded bunch of foam by your nose. That completely blocks out the light, but again, does not give where my face hits the pillow. So it's just not comfortable for me. If you can get past these negatives, the mask will work great for you. If not, keep looking for something else.

This mask is amazing. It truly blocks the light. No rays sneak in from the sides or nose. Made of foam it is light and comfortable. The interior is contoured. The straps are velcro. The velcro occasionally catches my hair, annoying but not a deal breaker. It comes with two soft bright green silicone ear plugs that store in little loops on the side of the mask. Clever. The mask is light and portable, perfect for travel. I am a very light, restless sleeper. This well designed mask eliminates the two biggest sleep challenges, light and sound. The pink chevron outer I received is attractive. Hand wash.

I'm VERY unhappy with this product. I purchased this eye mask from Bed, Bath and Beyond only to discover that the dye from the mask itself was transferring to my bed clothes and sheets.
The dye has now ruined one set of sheets at home and a set of sheets at the hotel where we stayed for the holiday. The cost of this eye mask is not minimal; it's exponentially more expensive than it appears!
