Notice the amber error light? Buy this and get used to that!
This Canon PIXNA TR4720 is worthless, this is the epitome of “you get what you pay for”, the copies are faded, dull, not sharp at all, connecting it to WiFi is an ongoing nightmare, the control panel itself is a mentally-disabled inanimate object, entire lines on double-sided copies are blurred with missing or incomplete characters, paper tray jams for no reason even though the paper capacity is laughably low.

Great printer for STICKERZ!
I got it to print documents and then I found out I can print my own stickers!!! I got some vinyl sticker sheets and have been going nuts ever since! Excellent quality ink and printer, easy to use and worth every dollar! The scanning is great as I can easily scan art from my sketchbook onto my computer which is so nice.

Never again
This printer is a problem. Doesn’t print out correctly and that’s with making the same page print out multiple times due to that issue. Always giving a code error and the printer is just becoming a complete problem all together. Now I got to get ink for it just cause I printed the same 1 page document 6 times cause it wouldn’t print the document correctly

Waste, waste and waste
This is a real waste. Please dont buy unless you mean only several uses.
I haven't used this printer often and several days ago I was going to use this and this works like the video clip I uploaded. I wasted my money for this printer and many sheets of paper.
I bought this a year ago, so I can't return it. Where can I complain and get refund?

Efficient. Double sided print works fast and seamlessly!
So far so good I like that. It came with a black and colored cartridge usually they’re not the full cartridges, but it did come with it. It also was easy to set up setting up. The Wi-Fi wasn’t as user-friendly according to the instructions, but it was easy enough to figure it out. I manually did it and was able to easily put in my Wi-Fi username and password without any problems. It connected right away, and I went to my phone and the printer was automatically there very easy. I’ll send you a screenshot. Also it was a two sided print. This printer sucked the paper back in so quickly. I got scared because I thought it was gonna do a paper jam. It didn’t it printed the other side seamlessly was really really great big difference from the Canon that I think is like T3 500 but it was so that printer was so bad paper jam just shut the whole thing down. You couldn’t open it to get the printer the paper jam out of it. This printer from the same company is easier to open so if there’s a paper jam that tears, I think it’s it looks much easier to get your fingers in there and open it because there’s several different compartments that you can open in order to get the paper jam without struggle. I like that it has a scanner I was able to set that up and overall I’m happy with the purchase for the price. This is definitely worth it. It looks good and I like that you can close the paper tray when you don’t need to use it the other model. I think you had to keep it open. This is just more compact, neat, and easier to maintain. Also, there are three options to copy and print which I really like that has a top paper tray it has another one that you can use on the full length of the printer, and then it has one paper tray on the bottom that you can pull out and so far so good it does not come with the cord that you need to the USB cord to attach it to your computer to print that way, but like I said it prints just fine through Wi-Fi and I chose to do it from my smart phone and I highly recommend this for the price. If you’re on a budget this would be a good option. I think I also used a generic brand ink for about $19 for the pack. It said that it will print 900 pages so we’ll see but compared to Cannon‘s high price for ink cartridges. That was a huge discount and Cannon took that brand just fine. It takes 275 and 276 and cartridges and I’m happy with purchase so far.

Reliable
We’ve been using this with our home office set up and it’s been super reliable for basic printing needs…documents, school stuff, and occasional photos.
Setup was easy, and the wireless printing works well from both computer and phone, which makes it really convenient. It’s not the fastest printer out there, but for normal use it gets the job done without any issues.

Not the best, not the worst
The Canon PIXMA TR4720 arrived well packed and is surprisingly lightweight, which is great if you need to move it around. It also comes with cartridges included, which is always appreciated and saves an extra purchase right away. The ability to scan both on the flatbed and through the document feeder tray is a nice feature and works well. Printing quality itself is perfectly fine for everyday use.
Now, the Wi-Fi setup… that was an adventure. Entering the Wi-Fi password turned into a puzzle because the panel makes it very difficult to enter digits, and the instructions explaining how to switch input modes are basically nonexistent. The QR code leads to very basic guidance that doesn’t actually solve the problem. For something that should take two minutes, it somehow becomes a small technical challenge.
Another odd design choice is that the paper tray stays exposed instead of being enclosed, which isn’t ideal for dust or aesthetics.
Overall, once you finally convince it to connect to Wi-Fi, it prints just fine. Just be prepared for the setup process to test your patience a little.

Good printer!
This was very easy printer to figure out setting up, and configuring to the wi-fi was super easy- just had to download the cannon app and was ready to go! I print basic photos for painting reference, so this was perfect to print color or black and white! Not sure how great photo paper quality will be- but it does the basic job intended! Good product! And with the bad roads/ice on road- they still delivered to the mailbox! Winning! Recommend for basic printer/scanner/copier

Poor print quality- prints grey not black
Print quality has been extremely underwhelming. Despite using brand-new ink and adjusting multiple settings (print quality, paper type, grayscale vs. color, etc.), black prints consistently come out gray instead of true black. Color prints come out extremely muted.
What’s especially frustrating is it seems that the printer often decides to print “black” using color ink instead of the black cartridge, even when printing simple text or labels. The included starter ink is also very weak and does not produce a deep black, which makes professional-looking labels impossible out of the box.
Setup was not intuitive, and the settings required to force proper black printing are confusing and not user-friendly. Had I known the starter ink would not print true black or that the printer would default to composite color black, I would not have purchased this model.
This printer may be fine for casual documents, but I would not recommend it for anyone who needs crisp, dark black text or vivid color. Or at least don’t expect to receive ink that will give you that look. This may be user error but it also shouldn’t be this hard to print simple black text.

I can’t get this printer to work anymore
I’ve used this printer at least three times. Yesterday I printed 14 pages. On the 14th page, the paper jammed. I removed the paper jam. The printer still will not work. I replaced the ink. The thing that I purchased is compatible with the printer. The printer still won’t work. I’m totally frustrated.

Inexpensive home Printer/copier
I needed a replacement printer as my older canon (which weighs a ton) hasn’t been printing properly. The ink used to be expedited or 5 cartridges too. This printer requires 2 cartridges which I have found to cost $55 for the XL tanks and $35 for the standard tanks. This to me is much more affordable. This printer is also much more lightweight which I can appreciate. It’s easy to move around if I need to. The copy and print works great. I copied the set up paper and printed. The color and alignment was great. I need to use it for faxing every once in awhile, but I have ooma WiFi landline so it’s very tricky to make it work. Overall I am very satisfied with quality and price.

Some Pros And Plenty Of Cons For Me
It arrived the next day,well packed,compact and not big or bulky. I was replacing a Hewlett-Packard Office Jet 4620 which was very good after almost 10 Yrs! I’ve been testing thios Canon it only for 2 days so time will tell. It does print pretty well. I printed texts that were perfect and photos on regular paper just to test colors. The set up to Wi Fi was SEAMLESS!! I didn’t even have to think. It’s beautifully connected to my iPhone 13,IPad and obsolete iMac from 2007!! It’s an absolute pleasure to navigate all the features needed on 3 devices and get a perfect response! So far,so good. NOW for the disappointing features. The printer is shoddy and parts with flimsy plastic,especially the confusing paper load and catch tray!! U have to handle that tray with care or it will break like a dry twig! I never saw such a weird,3 part folding paper tray! It was the most complicated thing to figure out-the entire paper aspect. Next it does what it’s supposed to do but it is very “primitive!” What was fast,automatic,efficient in very few steps on the HP is NOT this Canon. If the machine is not used for a few hours/over night,it has to be turned on “manually”before u can ask for a print job! It is wireless but there is no “sleep” function so I left it on. It turns off after a time so it cannot find the Printer online to select for the job. Unless u stand up and go to the printer to press the start button u can’t print! Slow print speed,and not a high capacity for big jobs without refilling the paper. So all in all it is a good printer given it’s only $79.00! It is a watered down,simplified printer but it is doing what I need it do do so I am ok with it so far. For several reasons I was turned off to the the HP Insta Ink Program. They make it hard to cancel and they were deceptive with me. For now I will see how expensive it gets with the Canon using cartridges. I print a lot. Then I will decide. The Caanon website is alot more user friendly than HP which is helpful. I hope this review helps!

Perfect for college
This a very fairly priced printer with all the bells and whistled you'll need for college/work.
At first the low price worried me, I thought this was going to be a low quality printer that produces shoddy papers and mediocre scans. Well I was proven very wrong.
Unless you need something for a big corporation, or you're printing photos, this printer is honestly all you'll need.

Easy to use but the printing quality is not that good...
I was so excited when I knew I was going to buy this thing known as the Canon PIXMA Printer 🖨️! Which was very easy to set up as long as you are connected to WiFi in order for your Canon to become available. Just earlier today, I had a bunch of papers that quickly got eaten up by my machine to the point it got jammed. So I had to unscrew the bottom of the machine in order to take the rest of the papers out and carefully screwed 🪛 it back on with ease. I mean if a technician can do it - so can I! Anyway, at least I got it to work again so it's all good. 😅
Now about the 'ink' situation. I mean with the black ink it's fine and the color one is great but now I am running low on ink as it runs out fast so I got me a new one of course, just so I don't have to worry about running low on it again. :)

MEDIOCRE, all-in-one printer.
Pretty basic printer from Canon, the Pixma TR-4720 is a sub $100 all-in-one, wireless printer that maintains a small footprint while staying lightweight and easy to install.
FEATURES:
* Wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi, Android/iPhone apps.
* USB connection to your computer. (cable not included)
* 2x RJ11 telephone jacks for a primary and secondary fax line connection.
* 2 line monochrome LCD display with manual button operated interface.
* Auto Document Feeder (top) for faxing/scanning/copying documents.
* Color & Black ink cartridges (one for black, one for color)\
* Front paper output tray
* Front paper loading tray (under the output tray)
* Power cable.
* Duplex printing and scanning.
INSTALLATION:
Getting the printer out of the box and ready to print was much quicker and easier than most printers these days. There was only a few pieces of packing tape that needed to be removed, and instructions weren't necessary. I was able to turn it on and connect it to my Windows10 PC via USB and Windows10 automatically installed all necessary drivers so I didn't have to deal with anything other than pressing print!
THE GOOD:
* Lightweight, easy to move around.
* Simple design is easy on the eyes.
* The LCD screen and menu interface, while dated, is fast and easy to navigate.
* Auto Document Feed works great for copy/scan purposes.
* Scanner is easy to use.
* Ink cartridges were easy to install.
* Installation couldn't be easier.
* CHEAP.
* Prints come out dry.
THE BAD:
* Build quality leaves a lot to be desired and feels flimsy thanks to thin plastic used for the majority of the printer.
* Front printer output and paper tray stick out awkwardly and look like a design afterthought.
* No ethernet port.
* No instructions included with the printer. Rather you're directed to a website.
* No USB cable included.
* SLOOOOW printing, especially when printing double-sided.
* Print quality is mediocre at default print setting.
* LOUD.
FINAL VERDICT:
Super middle of the road printer and performance. While it does offer more fax functionality than the average competitor, most of us will never take advantage of it. This is a decent printer, and its affordable with a lot of features, but ultimately it does nothing special, and the print speed leaves a lot to be desired. You could probably find a better printer for around the same price.
