Smashed up

Not as I expected.

It arrived quite battered and the wrinkle marks do not go away.

Normal hat. Shipped with no protection. Dents.

As soon as I saw the package I knew there wasn't enough protection for a hat. Look, I understand this is a cheap product. But it should at least be shipped in a way that the hat doesn't come in poor quality.

In regards to the hat itself. It seems like a normal cheap hat with the Carhart logo applied to it.

I bought this hat as a birthday present for my husband who works in construction and he loves it. Got it in black and blue .

Just as Expected

I use this hat when working both inside and out (which is why it’s dirty in the photo). I wanted a cap that had a long brim to give me cover from the sun and that was adjustable. My head is on the big side and I wanted a hat that would cover the whole top of my head and not be too shallow. That said, I do keep it on the smaller setting. It could also fit a much larger head!

First hat ever. I like it.

You can carefully cut off the carhart logo on the side and it’s like it was never there. Good quality cap if you know what I mean.

Update. After 3 months, the hat is unwearable in public do too discoloration. I wore it on a few hikes (in the sun) and wore it running (sweat) turned the black to a red color. It looks really gross. Happened to 2 of them. I returned one.

Go with the Black Hurley on here, it has not become discolored after the same use

Shrunk after washing

On first arrival the cap felt fine. I set the cap for 2 notches and it fit ok. Went to the gym and had a good workout.

Put the cap in the washer and after it dried the hat wouldn’t fit. Even on 1 notch it felt tight. Had high hopes for this hat because it had too ventilation and molded to my head. Will return

My husband has been wearing his hat for about a week now to work. He’s a maintenance man to over 400 properties and is into all kinds of situations day in and day out. He loves this hat, and plans to order more.

The center of the bill does not line up with the stitching…

I will be using it for work because a black hat is pat of the uniform requirements, so I will wear it but it’s very annoying that the stitching isn’t even centered. Bit of a waste of money:/

Can't go no where without my hat, bought 2 times . It kinda looks like a old style trucker hat. Mines is black color still feels fresh.

Neglectful manufacturing

The cap is perfect. Sleek. Professional. The perfect hat - except for their lackluster effort or lack of care in the delivery of the accessory. A pretty hat with a completely botched (100% fumbled) Brim is a waste of great potential. I was looking forward to receiving it, but was only met with disappointment and a crooked hat.

Not structured and feels very cheap

Materials feel very cheap like a $2.50 hat. Nothing about it speaks of any extra level of Carhartt quality, like it should. Also, there is no structure to the front, like they show in the picture. Not deserving of the Carhartt logo. If Carhartt is intentionally putting this product out thinking they are gaining something, they are really shooting themselves in the foot. Even something as simple as a ball cap can be like a business card for a company and this one conveys a message of cheap junk.

Good Buy

Was hesitant about buying because of previous reviews about the hat being too “flimsy” in the front and not structured enough. However, from the photos you can see there’s some backing on the inside of the hat that doesn’t cause it to crumple up too much. I wouldn’t call it the strongest, but it’s not flimsiest either. Maybe they updated the hat too because the tag says “spring 2022”. Maybe they heard everyone complain and fixed the issue. Very happy with my new buy.

I got the wrong hat not the one I ordered but even though I got the wrong cap, I actually like it too. So I guess it’s okay

I actually received the correct hat as in the description and photos

I’m guessing people are receiving different products. I was hesitant to buy because of all the reviews of people receiving flimsy “dad style hats”. I bit the bullet and ordered one anyways and to my surprise I received exactly what I wanted. The front of the hat is actually study and not flimsy. I wear it daily as it’s one of my favorite hats! It’s minimal and fits my big head. I typically wear L/XL in hat sizes and this one fits great! I’m still a little worried that if I order more, I’ll end up getting a lemon but having had good luck with this purchase, I’ll probably buy more to stock up.

BEST HAT AROUND

I love this hat. I wear it every day and the great thing is I beat it up because why not it was only 10 bucks lol and even so it’s held up better than my $40 Huk fishing hat. If you have a bigger head like myself.. get this hat you won’t regret it. This hat will look awesome on you. If you have a small head this might be a bit big on you. If you work hard outside get this one it will hold up.

Great product! Bad decision to ship a hat in a bag.

Great hat! Too bad it was put into a bubble shipping bag and not in a box like they are normally shipped. Hat was delivered damaged.

Don't buy the cheaper hats in this style

My dome runs hot but requires shade, so I wanted to get this style hat with the open web net back style. This was a stupid move. Don't get ones with velcro backs + web netting. The velcro will stick to the net back half of the hat and shred it up in the washer.

I should have just gotten this one to begin with. A fine baseball style hat. It's got the Carhartt logo on there but not too crazy. Normally I'm not into logos but they make good stuff and are AMERICAN YEE HAW, so cool.

Poor quality

Hat came in poor condition right out of the box. The front looked like it was wrinkled from moisture damage. The hat itself fit lopsided. Maybe just a defective one that I was unlucky enough to get, but I’m returning.

The only reason it’s 2 stars, is because the inside sweatband is a nice material. Wish it would’ve worked.

As a comparison: I bought several different hats to tryout, and the best one I’ve found was the Under Armour Twist trucker hat. A little more, but do yourself a favor and spend the little extra for far better quality.

Big ol head
