The size of this mouse is perfect for me. I like that it is longer than most computer mouse's because I have long fingers. I measured it at about four and a half inches in diameter, two and half inches width, and an arch of about one and half inches. The red light brightens when the mouse is moved and electric "white noise" sound can be heard if the space you're in is quiet enough and your ear is close to the device. The clicking with the mouse feels solid and tactile with a profound vintage sound that requires slightly more pressure than modern mice and it functions well without any stickiness. It is compatible with my laptop and comes with a plug for older tower PC's and I am very satisfied with the value for the money I spent. This mouse is my daily driver for work and casual use. There are skates on all four corners on the bottom of the device for smooth gliding, even on an antique wooden desk without a mouse pad. The laser is accurate and precise at the slightest touch. There *is* red light bleed (the red light inside the device shines through the shell) but I do not find this inconvenient, nor does it change the way I feel about the product in any way. In fact, I think it gives it personality and sets it apart from other mice on the market. While your computer is turned on, the mouse stays lit, making it easy to find in the dark. I have been using it for a few months at the time of this review with no issues.

No-Frills mouse
This is a basic corded USB mouse which works great. I like the shape of it, and it even comes with an old PS2 mouse connection adapter, which I haven't seen used in many years. If you need a basic mouse, I can recommend this one.

No More Mess Ups
No more wireless mouse for me. With my wireless mouse I would right click and it would go back to the previous page which is a big deal especially if you are typing information in. No more messing up with this wired mouse. The quality is top notch. It feels good when I click and it is comfortable in my hand. The click response time is okay and the mouse size is not bulky like some ergonomic gaming mouses. It also comes with a adapter for a old computer. Functions great and I'm very pleased with this product. 😊.

Slighty larger mouse that fits your hand really well, helps eliminate hand fatigue
I really like this mouse. It is a tad larger than a lot of the standard mouse that you'd find. The functionality is good, as it works fine when tested. The comfort is A+, as the mouse is a good 15% larger than my old mouse and fits my hand much better. I'm on the computer a lot and I feel that this slightly larger mouse will make a big difference in my hand fatigue over time. It was super easy to use and to set up. Just plug it into your computer's USB port and it works! It as a great value for the money. I'm willing to pay a tad more for good, quality computer equipment. And you'll not have to worry about battery life, as it plugs into a USB and gets power from the computer. I am 100% satisfied with this mouse and it 100% met my expectations.

Good value for a basic corded mouse
I am one of those people who actually prefers a wired mouse, so there are no batteries to die in the middle of a project or game-play. At first when I opened the box for this mouse, I thought it had the wrong type of connection for my laptop, then I realized it just had an adapter attached to the USB connector. It's not something I need, but it would be useful for anyone who has a desktop or laptop with a PS/2 connection. Once I removed the adapter, it was the mouse I expected. This is a basic, full-sized, two-button, optical, wired mouse, with a scroll wheel, and it was immediately recognized when I plugged it into my laptop. The mouse can be used with either the right or left hand, and it fits very comfortably in my hand. The buttons are not silent, but they are not obnoxiously loud, just enough to let you know your press has been acknowledged. The scroll wheel also makes a little noise, but not much. The buttons and scroll wheel are very responsive and work as expected. The 1000 DPI is less than my other mice, but still sufficient for most casual and business uses. Although it's not wireless, with a cord more than 16 feet long, I don't even notice that I am tethered to the computer. The mouse feels sturdy and durable, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, reliable mouse.

This mouse works beautifully for this Left-handed user!
This corded Cherry USB mouse with a PS/2 adaptor included, is suitable for left or right-handed users. As a Leftie, I appreciate a mouse that easily works for me. This was as simple as plug-in and use. It has a nice, smooth feel to it, and works beautifully. I prefer a mouse with a cord, and this is one I will enjoy using.

Nice quality retro lookin mouse
This mouse is very responsive and feels good in your hand. Operation is smooth and clicks are satisfying. I feel more productive using this vs using my laptops touch pad. Also works better than a wireless that I have. This is my new favorite mouse that I use at work. It also reminds me of the days playing Oregon Trail on school. Except this has a red laser light and not a rubber ball.

A good option for the casual user
I am not a gamer, nor do I use my computer for work. I am the definition of a casual user. Because of that, my experience with different mouse options is limited. That said, I personally found this mouse to be a good option for my limited needs, and I have no complaints.
I do prefer a wired mouse for my home setup so I don't need to consider batteries. I got this one to replace an ancient Dell mouse, and though similar, I prefer this one. I like the size, which fits my medium hand perfectly. It is lightweight without being too light, and is very tactile in both the buttons and the wheel. It is beyond easy to install, being plug and play.
Surprisingly, it came with a legacy port adaptor. It's a nice touch, I guess, but probably a waste of materials for most people. It suggests that this mouse is being marketed towards people trying to revive an old PC.
My only real criticism is that there is nothing that really sets this apart from any other mouse on the market. The bare-bones classic approach works well for me, but I can see where others might like to get a bit more for the value. That said, I'm happy with it and would recommend it to any other casual user that prefers a wired mouse.

Affordable, simple Cherry M-5450 office mouse with solid performance and tactile switches
The Cherry M-5450 is a reliable office mouse with a 1,000-DPI optical sensor, tactile switches, and an ambidextrous design. At just 2 ounces (excluding the ~6.5' cord), its sleek, black look complements standard office keyboards. Its medium size is decently ergonomic, avoiding uncomfortable "claw hand" for most people. The scroll wheel feels budget-grade but performs smoothly enough, outshining a few pricier rivals in testing. It also comes with a PS/2 adapter, if that matters for you. This no-frills mouse is a solid, affordable upgrade over OEM mice.

Love the mouse feel and it fits great when the my setup also modded it by putting tape inside the mouse so there is not red light glow through the scroll wheel

Awesome retro lookawesome retro look
I got this mouse specifically for the retro look that it has of the 1980s and 1990s computer mice. The mouse works great and a simple plug and play. It is responsive in the scroll wheel works well. I have no concerns with this mouse and I'm glad to have it as a reminder of when computers really started to take off.

Bright Red Light
Bright red light through the scroll button. As some reviewers have said, not that bad during the day. But it's very obvious at night. Every time I move my mouse after being stopped for a second the light will 'flash' and the flashing pulls my attention away from what I'm doing on my computer.
Also not very wide, granted I have large hands so take what I say with a grain of salt, but it feels like I'm holding a broomstick.
I'll probably be returning this and looking for a new mouse.

It's gold, Jerry! Retro Gold!
It's not just a cool retro looking mouse. It's actually a cool retro looking mouse that feels good in hand with great control, and made by Cherry. No complaints, only praise. I saw a review that said they didn't like the red glow on the scroll wheel, but the lighting is barely visible in an environment with standard lighting.

I love this mouse!
First and foremost, I was looking for an incredibly neutral mouse that would blend with the computer desk setup I am working on. Everything dark is getting replaced. Things that are modern looking (like the lamp) are being replaced with vintage inspired items. Some things pictured are already inspired, or like the glass, are vintage.
I looked far and wide for a good mouse that was not some garish color and had no glow. This is a great mouse. Everything about it is quality and for the low low price, this is a steal. Highly recommend if you need a normal, everyday, simple mouse.

flashy scroll wheel
I picked this mouse for its retro look. I didn't expect the scroll wheel to light up in red.
Not only does it light up, it becomes rather bright when the mouse is moving.
