Sounds cleaner than my XC1, great for workout, app is a banger

So I've had the Baseus XC1 for a while, but when I was working out they'd keep slipping. So I got the CMF Clip Pro in coral. It looks good, and it has the smart dial on the case. I'd seen a lot of reviews saying mentioned "lack of bass", so I was a little worried going in. But I was mainly buying it for the stability during workouts, so I figured it'd be fine. However, it suprised me that it turns out the sound is basically the same as the XC1. Their bass feels the same. The only difference is the CMF sounds a bit cleaner, more open, and kinda like Sony-ish tuning. And I think that might actually be why people say the bass feels weak. When the mids and highs are that clear, the lows don't hit as hard. But to me it's fine, the bass is enough. I'm familiar with the clip on earbuds, so I know the volume feels lower than in-ear earbuds in a loud environment. That's just how it works. My day is workouts and desk work where I want to stay aware of what's around me, so I don't mind that at all.

One thing I actually do recommend: get the Nothing X app. It's clean and minimal, doesn't feel like it came with a sub-$100 earbud. There's an anti-leakage mode I use for audiobooks at work. The highs get a little dulled with it on, but my neighbor tested it for me. She leaned in with it off, she could just barely hear what I was listening to. With it on, she literally couldn't hear anything. That made me a lot more comfortable listening at my desk. At this point the Clip Pro is basically replacing the XC1 for me. I'm really happy with it, and the app is a big part of why. I'm definitely going to keep an eye on what Nothing puts out next.

Clear Sound, Secure Fit, and Great for Workouts

I’ve been really happy with these clip-on headphones. The sound is clear and surprisingly crisp, and they stay in place really well even when I’m running or working out. I was a little confused at first about how to put them back into the charging case, but after looking more carefully at the instructions, I figured it out pretty quickly.

I wear them almost every time I go to the gym now. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and don’t make my ears feel hot or blocked the way regular earbuds sometimes do. I also really like the way they look—they have a sleek, modern design and feel a little more stylish than typical workout headphones. The battery life has also been solid for my workouts, and the connection has been stable so far.

Definitely a nice option if you want something for the gym, running, or everyday use without having earbuds sitting inside your ears.

Interesting design and great sound

Really good product. Great sound quality with solid bass performance thanks to its built‑in bass boost algorithm, plus an interesting, eye‑catching design. The dial is ADHD friendly lol.

BTW, sound quality is heavily influenced by how you wear them. I initially thought the audio was poor, but once I adjusted them closer to my ear, they sounded perfect!!! I absolutely love the sound quality!

My ears finally stopped hurting

I've used in ear earbuds for years and my ears would start aching after an hour or two, especially on long flights or full workdays. And those are really easy to fall out because of the shape and size of my ears. This is my first pair of clip style open ear earbuds and the problem is just gone. The clip rests around the edge of the ear and after a while I forget they're even there. They didn't pinched at one spot, so there's no soreness even after wearing them all day.

They works so well especially for exercise. I've worn them running and at the gym and they stay put through everything, and since my ears aren't blocked I can still hear traffic and people around me. I don't like the feeling of noise cancellation, because it feels like in a vacuum and put high pressure on my ears.

Pairing with my iPhone took seconds. Reconnecting when I open the case is basically instant and I haven't had a single dropout just like the Airpods.

Sound is better than I expected for an open design. Bass has real weight to it and vocals come through clean. It won't isolate like a sealed earbud, but that's not what this style is for. I'm also worried about sound leakage before I purchase, but I didn't found serious problem with this pair.

Before buying I compared it with the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds, the Shokz OpenDots One and the Soundcore AeroClip. The Bose and Shokz are excellent but cost two to three times as much, and against the AeroClip the Clip Pro has longer battery and the case dial at a similar price. For around $99 this gets you most of what the premium options offer.

If in ear buds hurt your ears or you want something secure and comfortable for workouts, easy recommendation.

New Earbuds used everyday, love it

The CMF Clip Pro clip‑on earbuds are really great, and I love the sound quality the most. They sound awesome and are super comfortable to wear. The audio has nice bounce, and the bass is more than enough for me.

I used the Baseus XC1 before, but its clamping grip was way too loose, which made the whole listening experience pretty bad for me. These have just the right amount of clamping force, so they stay put even when I’m working out.

This is my first time owning a CMF product. I had seen their ads before and wanted to check out this newer brand in the clip‑on earbud space. It’s also really good value for the money.

Great‑looking open‑ear clip‑ons, perfect for office work

This is my first pair of clip‑style open‑ear earbuds, and the CMF Clip Pro has really impressed me. The stand‑out feature is definitely the Smart Dial on the charging case — it feels so satisfying to twist. Press it once, then press it again to lock the dial. It almost acts like a little fidget toy; I find myself playing with it whenever it’s in my hand.

The earbuds themselves have such a distinct look; they don’t even read like typical headphones. My workplace doesn’t let me wear over‑ear or in‑ear headphones for hours on end, and these fit that requirement perfectly. I can wear them nearly all day with zero noticeable ear fatigue. Crucially, I can still talk and interact with coworkers normally, since they don’t block outside sound. They work really well for office days.

Sound quality also exceeded my expectations. Audio is full‑bodied with nice bounce, and there’s solid bass for pop tracks. Build and design feel well‑thought‑out. If you need earbuds for work where you still have to hold conversations, these are absolutely worth checking out.

My new everyday earbuds

So convenient!!! I was never a fan of the clip on earphones, but these have been so game changer. While you work or walk, they’re great! They keep me aware of my surroundings which I enjoy. Super light and audio quality is great. I really can’t complain especially for the price. I also got my partner a pair and she loves them!!
