Good little book

Love this. Short stories for fairy tales. Classics like I remember. Worked great to “tell” stories in a car, or great bedtime stories that aren’t too long.

"New" book arrived damaged

Some damage to the pages, that's manageable.

The spine of the book already peeling from the pages is pretty unacceptable.

Arrived damaged like it was stabbed by somebody before it went in the box. Inside book is good. Not happy but keeping it.

The stories themselves are great but the book arrived damaged which was very disappointing because it was for a gift, but I could not give it since a chunk was missing from the back cover and the silver trim was marked.

Five Minute Stories

Amazing book with great classic folktales for kids to enjoy and adults to read for nostalgia!

This book is so cute and great for my baby. I love reading and I love reading to her. This book has so many stories and I didn’t expect it to be so thick. The only downside is, it arrived a little damaged.

It's a book, that's for sure.

The stories have been changed too much for my liking. The endings are terrible/don't make sense for most of the stories from how badly they changed it up, some even have added parts that didn't make any sense at all that wasn't in the original works either. I'd rather individually buy each book than read this to my son every night.

This book is nice to keep on the bookshelf or on the nightstand. The illustrations are colorful and beautiful. I love having all these stories in one book vs having 50 little kids books. This is part of my daughter’s bedtime routine where I read 1-3 stories every night while we cuddle. Recommend this for other parents as well!

Great Kids Fairy Tale Stories Book!

It’s a little smaller than expected and more writing than expected. Bought for my 6 year old to read stories before bed so wish it had more pictures to writing ratio. But other than that she loves it!

Great value & very giftable!

This is such a good quality book for the price point even at the standard price of $16 (purchased on sale for $11+).

The printing qualiy is excellent: vibrant colors and thick pages with a sheen that allows for time to wipe off if something were to spill on them.

I like that the illustrations vary in style but are still congruent enough to feel like they're from the same family.

My only (minor) complaint is that the binding warps the pages near the front and back portions

close to the spine. [see photos]

Loved everything about the book. Was able to share stories I grew up with, with my 1 year old. The book is a nice size fitting on any book shelf with metallic details. love all the classic stories with colorful illustrations.

Wow! Much Nicer than I thought ☺️

This is a thick hard cover book. It's colorful and trimmed in silver. My Grandkids are going to enjoy this book for years 😊. It has all the popular fairytales I was read as a child. Just lovely!

Love it!

The selection of stories is amazing. It also had that soft hardcover that’s perfect for kids. My little ones loved it!

I love it.....story time

So I wanted to find one book with multiple stories and here it is. I am super happy with my purchase at the moment. So I can now read stories to my baby whenever. The book is a little heavier than expected but I would recommend regardless. Let's see if the pages will hold together and the content is on point

I’m torn

It’s a beautiful book. Well crafted and well made. However, I don’t suggest this as a night time reading from anyone under the age of 6 ( unlike what they suggest)...too many “big words” for kids to be able to understand.. e..g merchant, loft, lord in waiting, wending, hideous, lord, despair... stuff an adult understand but a kid is left wondering. I mean I don’t know about other people but I need the bedtime routine to not turn into a lesson. Most fairy tales are dark but this one just really seems dark compared to other children’s fairytales that put a “rosy” perspective on the darkness of some of these stories

Overall would RECOMMEND this for an older audience..

Very cute, well designed children's book

Baby loves this book, she ogles the pictures and tries to turn the page. Stories are a perfect length for her attention span. It will also be great as she gets older and understands the stories better. The cover is beautiful, sort of a thick padded material instead of paper so it won't rip. Only complaint is illustrators could have included some people of color. Even in stories about Africa or the first man and woman, the people are white.

I thought I bought new , looks like used

All ok , but look at the attachment for the way it was delivered. It had vapor in rubbed on its front cover. Yuck!! I bought a new book I thought, not the used. Please review and refund accordingly.

Perfect for the price!

This book is amazing for the price, is a good size not to big not to small but perfect !! I would recommend to all my family and friends !! Great for all ages!

Expected better quality for the price.

This book is printed BACKWARDS!!!!! Not a true issue, I just hope it doesn't confuse my son when he starts to read it. My copy seems to be missing the silver ribbon book mark, and it seems to be really flimsy, like the cover is going to fall off at ant time.

Happy toddler, happy mom

What a great little book!! I'm only part way through (about 10-ish stories) and I'm very impressed.

We read to my 3 year old every single night, rain or shine. I began hiding some books that we read so often they were memorized. So we switched to story telling. Turns out my husband can spin up an amazing story about dragons and mountains and adventures and river rafts. But me.... I can't. My amazing story would last 2 minutes and end with "but mom - that was kind of boring."

So I bought this book. To do the work for me. I wasn't sure if my 3 year old (he turned 3 in March) would sit through a 5 minute long story with more words than pictures, but he's OBSESSED! He gets excited to read his new "story book" and loves everything we've read him so far. They're short, could be more elaborate but that would defeat the purpose, and generally summarize the entire story in 3 pages.

If your kiddo loves books and stories before bed, this is a great purchase.

Perfect for children with short attention span! I have been trying to find the stories from my childhood in a format that’s suitable for young children. My little one loves being read to, but he just doesn’t have the attention span to sit for long. This book is our new favorite, and I look forward to making memories he’ll cherish as he grows up!

Lot of stories and good quality!

There’s a ton of stories in here which I love. My favorite was always beauty and the beast but because they had to change it to make it short they basically changed the entire story. There are still many story’s that stuck to the classics which I love. Overall a good children’s book with a lot of options to choose from!
