Super to buy

Super buy. Too bad I did not know about this blocker. If somebody didnot answer calling tome, I just lock. Sometimes my phone working like crasy non stop. Scam, call center some stupid businesses calling all day. Now-impossible!

It is a cheap device of low quality.

The following problems have occurred over the past few months:

1- Unknown numbers that are completely different from the actual phone number that came up, or only a four-digit number appears.

2- Create an identical duplicate number in the call list of your landline phone.

You will experience unnecessary stress.

3- I don’t know why, but the numbers I blocked disappear.

4- This product can only record a list of 20 numbers.

Very disappointing quality and I do not recommend this product to keep you safe.

Don't waste your time and money on this product.

Broke after two years of normal use.

The big red button simply went into the unit when pressing. I had to pull the button out and now have to purchase a new blocker from a different seller. Not a reliable product to buy at this price.

Call Blocker does not work on Spectrum.

I bought this V10000 Call Blocker in July of last year. It didn't work at all. I complained for a long time and they finally sent me a replacement, which didn't work either. I have been since then trying to return it for a refund. No luck. I wrote to their address in Delaware and the USPS returned my letter. I feel I got scammed.

Beware of this Vendor! I know scam calls are a nuisance, but no one wants this problem.

Highly recommend

We were getting 5 or 6 calls a day from robo calls using different fake names. Ever since we got this we don't get any more robo calls. If a sales call comes through I block it so it will be last time they call. I love this and highly recommend it.

Most satisfying device for all of the spam calls

There is no better feeling, than answering to phone and hitting the BIG RED BUTTON when it’s someone wanting to buy your property, ask about your cars warranty, or when the mother in law needs computer assurance. Blocks the call FOREVER (unless you unblock)

CPRV5000 CALL BLOCKER

I cannot say enough how this call Blocker has given us PEACE. We were receiving between 15 to 20 robo calls each day. This Blocker has virtually stopped all of it. I highly recommend it. We have purchased another for our daughter for Christmas. She is having the same problem with robo calls. I congratulate the company that has made this possible to bring Peace in our home. Thank you.

Phone company blocking didn’t work. Manual blocking thru the phone failed: when I blocked a call, the caller invariably called back using a different #. I typically blocked 7-10 calls a day! FINALLY, I read about this product & tried it. I can’t recommend it strongly enough. If you want peace by stopping annoying & unwanted phone calls, this is the product that will achieve that goal. We love it!!

Watch out!

This product may be filled with "5000" pre-loaded numbers, but not ONE of them seems to catch all the "unknown" callers I receive in a 276-228-0000 area. If a call comes, it has to be "manually" blocked by the button, however, if that number is blocked, the phone will only ring one time and stop, IF a blocked number is already put into the machine.

SCAM Calls - begone!

After months of receiving up to 6 annoying robo calls a day, , I came across and purchased the CPR Call Blocker. Its been installed for nearly 4 weeks and I’ve only had 9 calls come through that I’ve manually blocked. The device is very easy to connect to your landline phone and even easier to ‘block’ an unwanted call. You simply press the BLOCK NOW button. Love my CPR Call Blocker!

Stops Robocallers and Scammers at a Touch of a Button

My wife and I were getting frustrated by the high number of robocalls and scam calls so I decided to check online for the best possible solution! After reading the details on several call stopping products, I chose the V5000 CPR Call Blocker and it was a great choice! Now we can view who is calling and if we don't recognize the number, we simply press the red Block Now button and know that caller will never bother us again! This is an excellent product, easy to use and we are completely satisfied with the results!

Does the Job But Needs More Disclosure of Product

I received the CPR Call Blocker V5000 and was anxious to hook it up immediately since we are now receiving anywhere from 12-15 spam phone calls per day. When I read the directions on installation I was surprised to see that I couldn't hook it up to the phone that sits next to me in my office only because it is an extension off the main phone in the kitchen. I looked this up in the instruction booklet that came with the phone and it stated that it could be used with an extension phone but problems might arise since the main line protects all the extensions. I chose to stick with the main line installation. It took all of 5 minutes to hook up and is working great. Getting up to block the calls in the kitchen isn't a big deal but I still wish I had that big red "BLOCK NOW" button sitting by my side! My second issue is my main phone is on a wall mount and not sitting on a table or desk. The call blocker is hooked to the phone with a somewhat short cord and there is no mount to secure the callblocker to the wall right next to the phone. Mine is 'jammed' in between the telephone wall mount and the wall. One wrong move and it's going to dislodge. I still love the ability to block all the frustrating calls but a few tweaks to correct the two issues I have would be perfection.

Great little blocker

I connected it, one issue I had is the two little phone line wires included are to short. This device connects from the back, not the front or the sides. Most phones the lines come out he back, being said by the time you connect beneath a phone, then run it out the back and to the back of this device, you are out of wire are you have to turn this device backwards Fortunate for me I had some more phone lines laying around. At least two feet would be adequate. Over all, great device, blocked two robo calls today, and just getting started. Update added, 2-2-2019 It has been connected now for two days, I have had peace and quite int he workplace. No robo calls, and the few I was getting blocked by a simple touch. Telemarketers that were calling all the time, blocked! You can add numbers, remove them if you blocked by accident. One suggestion, make a copy of the manual page that has the phone codes! I'm loving this blocker, its ease of use. I included a photo of the codes.

There is so much to like about the call blocker.

• The size is just right! Not too big.

• It really works! There is a dramatic reduction of cold calls, spam calls.

• It’s easy to use, either from the main base or from an extension in another room.

• It is rare for a bad call to come through. When it does, I can block it right in the midst of their rant.

• The customer service is outstanding!

HOUSE MUCH QUIETER NOW

It took a whopping 10 seconds to hook up to my DECT 6.0 cordless telephone system. Didn't take long to test it: shortly after hooking it up, one of the several daily annoying calls rang, and without lifting a finger, it was promptly blocked...the caller was apparently contained in the internal data base that comes with the unit.

Very easy to enter my own list of known scam callers, as well as customize the unit using the supplied easy-to-enter programming codes. Blocking calls from one of my remote cordless handsets also easily done by using the #2 feature which simultaneously adds the number to the unit.

Very satisfied with this great little device. Much quieter around the house now without being bothered by a bunch of scam callers which used to occur daily.

Block NOW!!

It's so gratifying to press that "Block Now" button! Wish it was wall mountable. Had to be a little creative in mounting at work.

I'd love to hear from anyone who has got it to ...

It does not work with Comcast VOIP telephone. I have tried 100s of configurations and worked with score of technicians. And by the way each of them represents themselves as "Head of Tech Service"

CPR is very dishonest in marketing this device ad if it works with Comcast VOIP - it does not!

Excellent investment.

Was getting 8-9 calls a day from marketers so after reading the reviews, decided to try it. Unit came with adapters but did not need them as we have an answering system with multiple handsets. Setup took 5 minutes and it has been working flawlessly! Numbers not in the unit can be added from the base or pressing #2 on any handset. Excellent investment .

GO AHEAD, MAKE MY DAY

This product will deserve my attention with a couple future updates. I've had this device plugged in for 6 days now and HALLELUJAH it's doing what it says it would! The first day I connected the Call Blocker it immediately stopped 3 calls. My phone never rang through for 2 of those 3 calls so they must've been among those pre programmed into the device. As of today, 9/26, this device has blocked the following types of calls on its own with zero assistance from me: 3 withheld phone numbers, 1 VOIP and 1 unavailable. Additionally, there were 2 calls (when I wasn't home) which weren't on the pre programmed list..not a problem because I easily blocked those after I got home. Before I connected the CPR V5000 I was getting, on average, 3 scam/robo calls a day. I say average because some days it was more (several in a row, 10-30 mins apart), some days it was 1 or none. I haven't received a scam/robo call in 3 days! Initially, I was fully prepared to manually enter the 101 numbers of scam/robo callers I received before I got my Call Blocker. Instead, I decided I would get a more accurate idea of the blocker's performance if I waited at least a couple days to see how well the Call Blocker blocked all on its own. I'm SO glad I waited, it would've been a huge waste of my time to enter 101 scammer phone numbers. If this little thing continues to work like it has so far, I know exactly who I'll buy another one for as a Christmas gift. Because I'm currently so impressed with this Call Blocker, I'll update my review a couple more times on it's performance...the upcoming Christmas season should be a good test. So far my only disappointment is the Call Blocker appears to WORK SO WELL that I haven't yet been able to push the "Block Now" button as my phone is ringing. I thought by now my need for robocall revenge would've been satisfied by pushing "BLOCK NOW" as my phone is ringing. No calls in 3 days, my suspense builds, I'm ready.

My connection details: Frontier analog landline, subscribed to name & number caller ID with Frontier, subscribed to voice mail with Frontier, home phone is an older Panasonic KX-TG6644 Dect 6.0 Digital Cordless Answering System which still works flawlessly. My connection is: phone line from the wall connects to LINE on back of Call Blocker and the supplied black cable goes from TEL on Call Blocker to LINE on back of my Panasonic's base unit.

BEST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE ON

It is hands down the best investment I have ever made! I was concerned it would it work with Verizon FIOS, it works flawlessly. I plugged it in right at the fiber optic panel and it covers every phone outlet in my entire house. It has it back 95% of all marketing, fundraising, solicitation, and scam callers. It cuts out on the "fundraising", unidentifiable numbers, international numbers, fake VOIP and the worse SCAM numbers, and the numbers it doesn't catch you had the BIG RED button and they're done!

I had maxed out the numbers that Verizon allows you to block which I believe is 100. Didn't even read the manual, which I should as it has even more things it does!

If your debating which one to buy, BUY THIS ON!!

Might buy a second for back up!!

REVENGE IS SWEET!!!

As a night time caregiver for my 98 year old mother, my morning sleep is the only thing that keeps me physically able to go on. The plague of my existence up until now have been the infernal Telemarketers and other incessant ‘nuisance’ calls that has kept my phone ringing the entire time I’m trying to sleep. Sleep deprivation is one of the worst experiences that anyone can have and it leads to all kinds of health issues like depression, anxiety, all the way up to major heart problems. I have experienced some of these issues and I blame these callers directly for these problems. Ever since I bought and set up the call blocker, I have been able to sleep right through the morning hours and get up feeling refreshed and ready to do what I need to do before going over to take care of my mother all night.

The CPR call blocker has taught me how precious the phrase “Silence Is Golden” is in my life right now and I thank those who worked to create a way for people like myself to protect not only their privacy, but their health and sanity as well.

Some reviewers said that you had to set it up the ‘parallel’ way in the USA, but with my Grande service the call blocker worked using the ‘direct’ set up. It was a ‘plug and play’ installation with Grande and once I added the other suggested codes listed in the instruction manual including all 800 numbers to the machine, it has kept me free from unwanted calls. I have only had to use the BIG RED BUTTON a few times to block calls that got through and I couldn’t be happier with how well the machine works. In the South we say, “Revenge is Sweet” and “Pay Back Is Hell” and I actually LOVE pressing the red button when the opportunity arises. This is a great way to teach these invaders in our private lives the meaning of “NO!”

I would HIGHLY recommend this call blocker to anyone that would stand still long enough to listen to me. Get one and get them GONE out of your life!

Too complicated for senior citizens to program

Programming codes are too complicated for my mother...

examples... To block Withheld/Private numbers press- **7#7*#

To block all Unkown callers press - **7##

To block all International/Out of area callers press- **7#*#

Why not just put something easy like (option 1- press 1# .... option 2- press 2#...... option 3- press 3# etc. )

My mother finally got it to work and I helped her. She likes it and is happy about it now, but she needed my help with it.

She finally blocked a caller that was calling her for 2 years.

Well worth the money, best $100.00 I've spent

As the owner of a service company a good portion of my work day is spent answering the phone and I am so tired of all the marking calls, even with the Do Not Call Registry there are a ton of calls that still come in. We have about 8 phone lines that are incoming and even if each line gets on call a day that is 8 waste my time calls I have to field through. I resorted to the handy internet and discovered this little gem. Money well spent let me tell you, It came quickly was easy to install, unplug a phone line and plug it into the device and plug the power cord in the the outlet and viola we are on our way to freedom for marketing calls, There are a number of calls that I know the device has stopped with the preset numbers that are installed when it arrives as I have had several calls that I hear a brief ring and that is all, plus I have blocked 27 additional numbers since installing the device, my picture was this morning showing 25 and I have blocked two more today, woohoo, I smile every time I block a number. I really love this device. The other plus is I learned there is an app you can download onto your phone and block calls on it also. If you are on the fence about ordering this item, take the leap and give it a try, I am very happy with my new office assistant the CPR Call blocker

Complete Bliss

The box has completely changed my life at home. No more solicitations, blocked callers, scam foundations, etc.. I like how it keeps a record of the number of times the blocked numbers try reaching you post install. Good to have this data when filing complaints with the FCC. The biggest plus for me is that Bots and VOIP(voice over IP) numbers are instantly blocked! For me.. the donotcall registry is a total failure. This is a game changer. Finally have peace at home!
