Awesome printer!

I love it when things 'just work' - and this printer has worked perfectly on every print I have thrown at it. I am especially impressed with the multi color filament feeder system.

UPDATE: After a few months, I made a VERY stupid mistake - I manually pulled out some PLA from the multi-filament system instead of first having the printer itself unload it. This was bad. It ended up breaking the PLA in multiple places including the extruder, which can be very very tricky to fix if PLA gets stuck in there.

I would recommend if you own this printer and never want to be blocked by broken/stuck PLA in the extruder (which is common enough) - I would highly recommend buying two spare K2 Plus extruders. Swapping it out took under 5 min and had me rolling again in no time.

I'm Impressed!

I went from an Ender 3 S1 to this K2 Combo and I am impressed! I did slow the speeds down as recommended in a video I watched and it prints flawlessly! If the filament says 190 - 220, I print at the 220 with first layer bed temp at 60 and then 50 after that. I have used 3 different brand filaments so far and they turn out smoother than I have ever seen! I've had no issue with prints sticking to the bed and they remove easily after the plate cools. I use a Z Hop of 1mm to make sure the nozzle does not rub across the print and more importantly does not hit any supports. Assembly was super easy! Hint.....Remove the CFS from inside the K2 before lifting the K2 out of the box. It's a tad lighter that way. NOTE: If you are planning on setting the CFS on the SIDE of this machine, you need to order a longer 485 cable to go from the Filament Block to the CFS!!!! They only provide one long enough for the CFS to sit on top! They provide enough PTFE tubing but not the cable. I think at this price, this machine is well worth it! I am super happy with it! You have to use the Creality Print App. Put it on your phone and the initial setup was a breeze! I can send the print straight to the printer from my PC or phone through the Wi-Fi! No more SD Card! Color changes are surprisingly fast and flawless. There is also a camera inside the K2 that sends the video to your phone or PC while it's printing. I love the fact that it calibrates before each print (bed leveling and Z offset) for perfect prints! Great buy! I love it!

Does not work well at all !

Very disappointing! We have a much smaller 450 dollar printer that works so much better. This one has so many problems. It doesn’t work a lot of the time and when it prints it almost always has really bad errors on everything we print. It’s huge and I was so excited to print toys with my boys, but I would not recommend this for anyone.

It’ll work for about a month than it’s a money pit

*** after owning this for several months, i wish i wasn’t out of the return window. I’ve spent more time troubleshooting than printing. I’ve had to constantly replace chips and nozzles and extruder kits. I’ve spent enough money on parts to buy a different machine. I wholly regret this purchase, I’ve had to remove all 3D printed items from my shop because of the inconsistency, and i would highly recommend looking elsewhere. It’s a money pit that has proved considerably unreliable.

Very well packed, fairly easy to unbox but i did use a YouTube video to put it together because the instructions leave a little for you to guess. Video made is a seamless process and i had it powered on quickly. From unboxing to powering on, probably hour max start to finish. The creality cloud was incredibly frustrating at first. I paid for priority, and i was still getting failure messages on anything i purchased from creality to print. After playing with slice settings i finally got it to slice and am printing. Very happy with my purchase. Great machine.

Perfection

Phenomenal! Is not too strong. The packaging was elite, setup instructions easily followed. Up and printing in an hour. So far every project nut has been perfect. I could not be happier!!!

Update: Have printed 45 very large models with pla and petg, absolutely zero issues. This thing is a dream. Zero issues with the printer or the CFS. Printed the poop chute you can see in the pic as the second thing I printed.

Amazing !!!!!

Amazing. My first 3D printer I’ve ever owned. I love it. So easy to setup. I’ve been printing for 2 solid days right when it was delivered. I’m thinking about buying a second one. If you’re looking, stop here and buy one.

Great Buy.

Great so far. I’ve created several models. The K2 Plus it’s slightly louder than the Bambu P1S but the printing area is 150mm larger. (350x350x350mm) almost 14 inches.

The CFS which allows multiple filaments comes with the attachment to allow 4 CFS to be attached. The Bambu, which also will do multiple AMS, allows only one AMS. I assume you need to purchase the adapter to connect 3 total, for 12 colors. Creality K2 plus allows 16 colors.

Printer was well packaged. Semi quick to put together. It’s big. It’s kinda heavy. So two people should move it into place.

Once you do the updates and the system check, it’s about an hour before you can print.

The software is okay. If you need to make any adjustments to the heat or feed, the very large LCD is where you make it. It’s simple, fast, and easy to do. I add five to ten degrees to the hotend and plate, which allows for better adhesion and less stringing. I’m in a cold area.

The print I’m doing now, acquires high detail and accuracy. The K2 Plus is doing well. Very well.

The K2 Plus also comes with a set of tools to quickly change the nozzle. Very good idea, they included a 90 degree socket for the nozzle. Also included a spare nozzle. Plus another surprise gift as they call it. It has a bunch of stuff. Too much to go into here.

Very good buy.

RECEIVED USED PRINTER - DO NOT BUY Updated for TE2761 issue

Clear signs that the wire shield has been dragging along the walls in the printer, I can see scratches and wear marks from it. I found Red filament in the Printer, and there's sratches on the side of it. I PAID FOR A NEW PRINTER, THIS IS BS!

Purchased Oct 28th 2025. As if 1/19/2026, every other print, I experience TE2761 -- An error code indicating that the leveling sensor can't be detected by the machine. From what I've seen online, this is caused by a few issues -- one main one being the quality of the main communication cable between the print head and the ?mother board adapter? DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, ITS NOT WORTH IT. I've had to work on this machine just as much as my 6 year old Ender 3 V2. CREALITY Dosen't VALUE it's customers, they don't help you out and if you're like me and believe you bought it new, but then got duped on arrival -- THEY DON'T FIX IT. This printer sucks, Should've spent my money elsewhere. My love for this hobby is dying because of this.

***Update as of 1/26/26:

My printer is dead. Bricked. The latest firmware made available for download on my machine as of 12/31/2025 caused issues with the leveling sensor not being detected. First it was after prints, but then it started appearing all the time. Talked to creality, looked at the strain gage and print head comm. Cable. My machine is 3 months old, and I cant print anything... I haven't beat it up or damaged it, I did the maintenance... I just downloaded firmware. Slowly over time the error became more frequent. Now I can't print at all. Hate this machine more.

K2 Plus Combo - Expect some teething issues. Solid printer otherwise

UPDATE: The seller helped with the issue below and the problem is now resolved and the printer is running well now. The printer still has some issues, but I have found workarounds that seem satisfactory, so I will give it 4/5 stars for now. As time goes on I may update this review again. Below is my original review shortly after receiving the printer.

The K2 Plus Combo printed flawlessly 4 times, THEN I think I have gotten every error possible, from clogged nozzles, to z axis homing issues, to cutter errors, extrusion errors, you name it. Changed the nozzle, so I know it is not clogged as it is brand new, but still get clogged nozzle error. It should be mentioned that nothing bad actually happened to the printer, like I think the first error I got might have been because the extruder might have made the first layer too thin and caused more back pressure than it would have liked. This is usually not a problem and can typically be solved by printing again but with a slight z axis adjustment. No, the error would never clear. The filament failed to retract from the nozzle, despite me trying the feature again and again. Eventually I had to just manually extract the filament which was a real pain in the ass. The wiki was useless and in Chinese, like for example the z homing error basically says did you make sure there is nothing in the way? Of course there is nothing in the way. Wish there was some way to do a factory reset to clear all of these errors, but I don't see anything. Planning to return soon if it can't be resolved easily(going to be a real pain to pack this thing up again). The best thing about these turnkey printers is also the worst thing, there aren't any knobs to tweak. So when it works, awesome, when it doesn't... well you're kinda SOL.

I've been building and running printers for +13 years both as a hobby and a profession so I can say with this experience it seems like a well built printer that has potential, but this level of bugs so early in means there is a lot of work to do before it can be called a finished product.

Also it really stinks, there is a lot of volatile chemicals coming off of this thing. I have a huge shop space and it basically filled the entire thing. I came home and my wife could actually smell the printer on me. It made my throat scratchy and is no doubt terrible to be breathing in. Make sure to use in a well ventilated space or let the machine off-gas in one.

Their software is super invasive from a privacy perspective. If you're trying to print anything sensitive or proprietary, do not use the creality slicer, use Orcaslicer instead. It had the K2 Plus settings built in and works fine with it over USB. Connecting to the app and the internet creates a security nightmare so only do it if you really do not care about privacy.

Before the cascade of errors, I would have given it 4-5 stars. The printer is fast and precise and you get a lot of bang for your buck. However, these errors basically render it useless, so 1-2 stars is all it really deserves thus far. Reached out to the seller for support. If the situation improves I will update my review.

Quality Printing & Quick Setup

The printer instructions are not great, but the setup was easy enough anyway.

It came to me with the top hinge on the front door no long attached to the glass door. Not impressed with that at all. I used JB Weld and fixed it. I wasn't impressed with having to fix a brand new machine shipped with the door hanging by one hinge.

The printer is great, however. It is quiet, as well.

Would be 5 stars if the door was not hanging by one hinge when I got.

To much damage.. Too much headache for return

Opened up set up unit.. Found the inside base plate crushed. The rear cover screws dont line up with holes. And calibration fails alot. Box been thrown out and return just to much headache. Hopefully seller has a new base plate and rear cover replacement. Other then that i could potiently figure out other issues.

Decent Station for the price

So far this has been a decent unit for washing and curing my models. After a year of use I picked up an Elegoo station and here is the speed comparison.

Just be aware, the speed settings on it are not great, there is high, normal, and slow speeds, the issue being that there isn't a lot of difference in speed. This causes smaller prints to slide off the plate during cure even on slow speed. So just be aware if you print small models.

All in all, not horrible, not great, but does the job

Loving it so far!

I have the Ender 3 V2 Neo and loved it. Was looking for a new upgrade for it and saw the S1 models. They share some parts and similarity to the Ender 3 V2 Neo so I picked this one up. Gotta say. First print I am putting it through is coming out nice! The model isn't complicated but it does put the printer through a marathon. The print is estimated to be completed in over 12 hours. So the first print is a long one. I have the printer in a thermal cover to keep the models from warping when hit by different temperature air in the room. The cover has RGB LED lights installed inside which give the different hue of colors seen.

Easy to use—beautiful prints

Easy to set up. Can print from your phone! Prints beautifully detailed models. Did a model of hogwarts and even in a small scale it hit every tiny detail! We have in the garage due to strong smell though.

Great Product!

I've never used a 3D printer before but was looking for one that would provide good detail. After much research I decided on the Creality Halot One resin printer and couldn't be happier. It worked out of the box with no assembly and no serious setup required. I am very happy with the quality and detail of the printing.

I did have one issue connecting to WiFi but the Creality support folks were very responsive in helping me resolve my problem, which turned out to be me and nothing to do with the printer.

The hardware is well constructed and looks to be rock solid.

The Halot Box slicing software is very intuitive and allows me to send print jobs directly to the printer over WiFi which is a great plus over printers without that feature. This feature allowed me to place the printer in an unused bathroom where the resin fumes are isolated and the room remains dark.

I don't think you could find a better resin printer, especially at this price.

Great printer out of the box.

TL;DR - Buy this printer. You'll spend more upgrading lower end Ender printers...and it will end up costing about the same or slightly more than just buying the S1.

Ive owned a Creality Ender 3 Pro for a couple of years and spent tons of time and a bunch of upgrades trying to get it to print consistently and print well. I can tell you it still has issues and still needs to be tinkered with constantly to print anything halfway decent. I love to tinker, but I also like to have prints be successful and not waste time, electricity, and filament....

Enter the Ender 3 S1. Could not be more of a night and day difference between the two printers. This one prints easily, quickly, no print issues, no adhesion issues, no line issues, no extrusion issues, nothing....it just prints...and prints very well.

I have had zero issues so far....and it has been running almost nonstop since it arrived. The big yarn bowl was a 24hr print....again no issues at all.

Awesome Printer

This printer is amazing for the price and is a great starting machine. I’ve been having a blast printing and then painting (I’m not a painter so it’s not the best lol) my prints. I definitely had to do a lot of research along the way to figure out 3D printing. I even put this printer through the 3Dbenchy torture-test and it came out absolutely perfect!

Great print from the start

It was very easy to print. The only problem I had was that the prints stuck to well to the building plate. However, it was solved by leaving the build plate (with the resin printings) in the freezer for 30 min.

The images I uploaded were from my first 2 printings, with pikachu kakashi being the second one. I used water washable resin.
