Perfect for my custom-built SFF PC setup. This 700VA slim version sits on my desk, so no more tangled cords near the floor, and is nearly completely hidden by my small case. Still haven't used all the outlets. Price is excellent. This brand was recommended by the shop that built my PC, they use several versions of it. Just an hour after it was all connected we had a power flicker and I just heard a soft click but there was no interruption. Highly recommend!!

Trouble with warranty service, do not buy!
This company is trash!! Here I am almost 3 years later with a battery that does not hold charge and on live chat with customer support. They are making it very difficult to have this replaced via warranty. Do not buy this brand!

Fits perfectly.
The unit wouldn’t come on when plugged in. Found the reset button hiding in the back and now powered on waiting for a power outage.
The slim design is perfect for my space. Bought this for my internet modem which is in wall box. We experience short outages which cuts out the internet. The unit fits perfectly and should stop the interruptions.

Garbage 🗑 DON'T BUY THIS!!!
Worked one day to test it out. A week later every f*** night it's a constant annoying beep and shuts off the back up no back up working but not the other 2 plugs not on back up are working and didn't cycle or turned off and the ones on back up stays off with an ANNOYING BEEP & the other 2 not on back up never turned off. I have to full cycle hold the button down till it cycles to get it back going! This is pure garbage & no its not over consumption, it's literally just my tv and xbox series x. I'm going to buy what I should have bought the APC UPS BE600M1 and destroythis with a sledgehammer! NEVER AGAIN!

SL700U outlets too close togther
It wanted a more compact UPS to take up less space, and the SL700U slim profile fit the bill. Just the size I was looking for, and with a decent battery capacity. Once I got it, I realized I could only plug in three things in the five backed-up outlets! All of the devices I want to plug in have wall warts (e.g. cable modem, wifi router, Raspberry Pi), which are just big enough, and the outlets on this thing just close enough, to prevent the use of the adjacent outlets.
I tested it by unplugging it under load and it worked well. It is indeed slim and compact. But I need to plug another strip into it, which partially defeats the intent of having it take up less space.

Fire department determined the SL700U was the cause
An employee of ours was opening up our business in the morning and opened the door to a room full of smoke. He immediately called the fire department who came out and determined this UPS was the source of the smoke. They said that according to our smoke alarm records, the power had gone out 25 minutes prior to them arriving. We all determined that the unit must have smoked out or caught fire internally when it activated the batter back up.
I opened it up to find out if it was the battery or the circuitry that failed and I found the battery was fine. The circuit board (as seen in the picture) fried but what was interesting is that the neither of the 40 amp fuses blew. They were both still good.
I felt this was a concern that CyberPower should know about and I was curious if they had any other reports of fire or smoke outs with these units because I have 20 of them throughout 3 of my businesses. Tech support said they had no record of any issues with these units so I sent it into them with a letter explaining the circumstances and what happened. A couple of weeks later, a new unit shows up with no explanation in return so I followed up on the service ticket to ask the cause.
Their answer was as follows: "Due to the UPS be disassembled prior to CyberPower receiving the unit, we cannot say for certain what caused the event. We also must inform you that disassembling the unit does also void any warranty of said UPS."
This answer is the exact reason I opened up the unit for myself. Their answer made me suspicious so I went back and check the 1 star reviews to see if anyone mentioned fire and sure enough, they did. I'm sure I overlooked this review because there were over 6000 positive reviews so I'm writing this review to raise awareness.
To be fair to CyberPower, There were 4 identical units that were purchased at the exact same time in this building and they all worked fine. My concern is that it only takes one to burn a building to the ground.

Quality built, designed and ergonomically perfect for smaller systems and space considerations.
I had an IP/ network Camera project which involved a limited space to contain a Network POE managed switch within a cabinet 24" high, 20" wide and 5" deep. I also needed an UPS that would fit within that same cabinet given the space limitations and allow for 120vac plugs to fit ergonomically as well.
This is a well built, perfectly designed and laid out not only to accept the plug from the network switch, but also the plug for the UPS had been designed at a 90 degree angle, for close fit after being plugged in, and you could route the power wire feeding into the UPS into the UPS itself, from the back or side, to conform to how it is installed in a given space.
Well thought out, well built, ability to access and replace the battery in the future was another plus. In fact I had another project 1 month ago, in which I used another one, which allowed me to select this once again for this most recent project. Quality packaging, containment, and timely receipt. I will order these again as needed. CyberPower has some great UPS products to address a wide variety of needs.

Works as Described and checks many other boxes
Note that I am only a week into the new install, so can not vouch for longevity as of yet. I purchased this item for my home office. The set up includes Router, WIFI, PC, and Wyze Security System Base power on the power + surge protected portion of the unit, and then have just one other item on Surge only portion. Highly recommend using the free CyberPower software to manage and observe the details of this back-up- its very good. Currently I am pulling only 75 watts total with an estimated back up time of 35 mins. when power goes down. I believe for the price and size it is well worth it, with the smaller footprint fitting neatly under my printer cart. Back in the old days a 700VA would require 4 to 5X the space as this unit to offer the same back up time- with not nearly as many features. Item of note here would be that I saw a lot of people ask how to turn the alarm beep off in a power outage, and didn't realize until they are suddenly in the dark having to try and figure it out. I looked it up, just 2 quick presses of the green power button will disable the alarm if/when that time comes.
All in all I believe this item to be a quality, feature rich product for a SOHO environment. I read that there was some dismay regarding the Mfg warranty if the battery goes bad or in need of repair, so I spent the extra $ 8 for no questions asked warranty coverage. For essentially 10% of the total value its worth it for me to have worry-free service if ever needed for 36 months. Enjoy!

PERFECT FOR A ROUTER/MODEM AND SWITCH.
The CyberPower SL700U Standby UPS System, 700VA/370W, is perfect if you are looking for a UPS that will fit in a technology cabinet. I have a surge suppressor in my breaker box but this adds a layer of protection besides the battery backup. This unit is too small for computer/home entertainment use. I have much larger units for my computers and entertainment center.

Low profile allows unit to be installed behind wall-mounted TV
My TV's normal operating wattage is 85W. Although I don't expect to be able to watch TV for an extended period of time during a complete power failure, this unit should be adequate to get me through the frequent on-off power outages and spikes that we have in my town and save my TV from getting damaged.
I have had good experience with CyberPower products for my computers in the past, and that was one of my deciding factors when I selected this unit.
The best thing about this particular model is its low-profile design. It allowed me to hang it on the wall behind the TV, totally out of sight, without interfering with the operation of my wall mount bracket.
I mounted it using two screws in the slotted holes, hung it in the upright position, and then added a label on the side of the unit for the power button so I would know where to feel for it.

Great for network backup, but battery didn't last a long as advertised.
I bought this for my "network closet" to power my Verizon FiOS ONT, MoCA adapter, and a Wyze cam to keep powered up during a power outage. Before installing I tested it with a floor lamp with three bulbs totaling 18 watts of load. This should have lasted 60-90 mins based upon CyberPower's specs/chart but only lasted 30 mins before shutting down. Towards the end, one of the bulbs started flickering as well which makes me wonder the quality of the power coming out. Other then this I love the form factor and it was easy to wall mount in my closet. The reviews of this were much better then the APC equivalent which is why I picked this one. Plus I have another bigger CyberPower UPS connected to my home theater PC, TV, sound system, etc and even after 6+ years that one still works great. One thing I was unsure about with this model is if the battery was removable. The specs did not say but I can confirm that you CAN remove the battery very easily on the bottom. They say the battery typically lists 3-5 years but we'll see if that's true. (my past experience says it will last longer, but considering this is brand new and the battery is already not lasting as long as it should, who knows.

Perfect size!
I haven't put this Cyberpower SL700U UPS to the test yet but it was a great value for the price! My main reasons for buying it were for its slim design and the 700VA backup power. It will only be backing up my cameras and DVR so it "should" give me enough time to bring my generator online.

Perfect fit inside a Legrand On-Q enclosure
I bought this as a battery backup and surge protector for all my networking equipment. The small form factor lets it fit snugly inside my Legrand On-Q enclosure with the door closed.
UPDATE: The unit failed a little over 2 years after purchase. Battery backup side is completely shot and wont power anything. Contacted CyberPower and will need to send it off for RMA under warranty.

Just what I needed and 700VA/370W to boot, more than the 500VA rackmount UPS
It is a slim profile that worked perfect for me in a DJ system case that had about 2 rack spaces of room. It provides me with a great battery backup solution for my needs. I tested it out and it provides very ample time for resetting a circuit breaker in case of a power outage or someone trips over a cable or accidentally pulls out my cord.
Being a DJ no one wants the party to stop! Especially the DJ and with this battery backup I am able to connect my laptop, external hard drive, wifi controller for lighting, wireless microphone and DJ mixer/controller and here's the interesting part...An active loudspeaker! This configuration of battery backup allows me to keep the music going in the event of power outage and at a decent (not deafening) music volume it is able to provide approximately 20 minutes of sound.
There are plenty of outlets and the USB charging ports are 2.4A so I can charge a tablet or fast charge a smartphone or other USB charged device.
What really makes it work for me though is the size, it's pretty lightweight and compact with it's slim size, it slides right under my DJ controller and the outlets face to the back, powering everything in the case. I took a chance hoping everything would fit and I was pleasantly surprised. A 3 year warranty is icing on the cake! I have used Cyber Power UPS units for years, and I did have one that had a problem, but Cyber Power took care of it right away and replaced the unit. I will be buying more of these units!
