Great head unit that worked perfectly in my 2010 trail edition. Some things to note back up camera stays in oem position in the rear view mirror. With car play, you can easily speak what you want in texts, however during phone calls you will need to make sure you install the included auxiliary mic, run it to wherever you can easily aim at yourself so those you call, can hear you. Built in gyro is nice for off-roading. Screen has very smooth transitions and works great. Love the built in EQ as it gives you far more frequencies to tune and adjust. Programming steering wheel controls was very easy and done within a few seconds. I feel it’s worth it’s value despite the rather in depth disassembly and reassembly process to get this installed. Was able to program buttons to match rest of interior orange coloring.

Best upgrade, better than stock
Hands down one of the best upgrades I have made to my 2016 4runner. Can’t believe I waited this long. I finally Ditched the 8bit tiny screen and upgraded. The screen is clear, touches and selection of apps are very smooth and clear quality. Another great feature is the amplifier is better than the stock, the music bass and sounds are clear and louder. Very easy and simple to install and it matches to look ORIGINAL. No glitches, no problems and the compatibility of colors is spot on. Do yourself a favor and do it.

Satisfied with the results
Wonderful interior upgrade for my 5th gen 2022 4Runner because it looks identical to the OEM head unit. Install took me 1-2 hours just making sure everything was functioning as expected.
The only thing I’d change is the glossy screen to a softer, matte finish to reduce glare during the day time.
