Truly Professional Teleprompter — Rock-Solid and Crystal Clear
I got the Desview P15 for professional presentations, training, and content creation, and it has exceeded expectations. Build quality is excellent — solid, well-made, and clearly designed for real production environments rather than casual hobby use.
Setup is surprisingly easy for a pro-grade teleprompter. While initial alignment takes a bit of fine-tuning, once it’s dialed in, the unit is extremely stable and requires no further adjustments. I’m running it with a DSLR and a tablet on a tripod, and everything fits securely and feels well balanced.
The glass quality is excellent. Text is sharp, clear, and comfortable to read, with no distracting ghosting or loss of eye contact with the camera. It performs exactly as a professional teleprompter should.
Not long after buying this, I noticed the same Desview teleprompter being used by a professional film crew in a Netflix documentary — which says a lot about the level of quality and trust this brand has earned.
If you’re doing serious presentations, training videos, or content creation, this is absolutely worth it.
Pros:
Excellent build quality — very solid and professional
Crystal-clear teleprompter glass
Works perfectly with DSLR and tablet setups
Stable once aligned, no ongoing adjustments needed
Clearly used in professional production environments
Cons:
Initial setup requires some fine-tuning (one-time)
Overall, the value for the money here is excellent. I definitely recommend.

Very Cool
Nice portable teleprompter. Mirror is clean, app is simple and works, it will fit probably any tablet. This will be great for advertising and reviews.

It takes about 3 minutes to know how to use it, just pay
The visual effect is particularly good and the operation is simple. I don’t know if there is an option to set all font sizes and playback speeds at the same time. I didn’t find it. I hope more users can find it.

Fits a very large tablet
I have 4 teleprompters and this one is my new favorite! So large, but also light and easy to use. My extra large Samsung Tablet fits in the easily adjustable arms and the best part is the glare cover with is attached and easily collapses and reattaches with very little struggle. I love the clarity of the glass and the remote works great with any teleprompter software. Great for on location or in a studio. We used it recently for a talk show we are recording and attached our Sony camera right to the back. Everything was easy to use and worked great!

Bigger, flexible, but not made for constant travel
I already own a teleprompter from another manufacturer with a built-in screen that's compact but restricts users to proprietary software. While adequate for basic use, I wanted something larger with greater flexibility in both screen placement and software selection. This teleprompter delivered exactly that. The increased size makes reading more comfortable from a natural distance, and the freedom to choose my preferred apps has been a welcome improvement.
However, portability is where this model disappoints. While the frame and screws are constructed from solid metal, the hood and zippers feel flimsy by comparison. Despite including a padded storage bag, this isn't equipment designed for daily packing and transport. I mounted it on a heavy-duty video tripod for stability, though the unit isn't so heavy as to require one.
Overall, I'm satisfied with choosing the larger model—it provided the flexibility I sought and freed me from proprietary software limitations. For permanent or semi-permanent setups, it excels. For frequent travel, I'd recommend exploring other options.

Great customizability with a budget hood.
I want to really love this teleprompter for a number of reasons....
- build quality is generally pretty good (a lot of good feeling metal parts)
- included remote for controlling the app
- a ton of customizability with this thing to make it work with a variety of setups
- set up is pretty easy
- it looks like with the red accents
What keeps me from giving it a full 5 stars is just a couple of things...
- the hood is pretty cheap feeling with some tiny zippers - I was hoping for a better design on it, but it is awfully similar to others in this price point. Fingers crossed that those zippers hold up over time.
- the teleprompter app is not awesome, but okay for basic use
- packing it up can be complicated due to all the moving parts
Overall, a pretty nice teleprompter here - just a few minor complaints with it.
