First gen was louder & lasted longer. Says 12hrs but by the 5th hour the speaker was down to 40%? I charged it half an hour & it only went up to 44%. I clip it by my neck & it’s so close to my ear but I can barely hear it

I've been using this speaker for about four months, almost daily or at least 3–5 days a week, and it has become one of my go-to speakers. I primarily use it while running outdoors, but I also use it around the house while doing chores, so it gets a lot of regular use.
The size and volume are the two things I like most about it. I run along a very busy street, and I'm able to hear my music clearly even with all the surrounding traffic noise. The volume gets loud enough for outdoor use without needing to carry around a larger speaker.
I also took it to the beach and listened to music for about 6 straight hours, and it still had a charge when I left. I normally put it on the charger after I use it, so I haven't personally experienced any battery issues.
The sound quality is good overall, especially considering the size, although I do think it could have better bass. If you're looking for deep, rich bass, that's probably the one area where this speaker could be improved.
After four months of regular use, the combination of its compact size, excellent volume, portability, and battery performance makes it a great option for running, household chores, the beach, and other outdoor activities.

1) it weighs almost nothing.

1) it is advertised at 10 hours life. It's more like 5ish. I had it at full blast. Still good.
2) bass could get some improvements. It can be flat on some songs.
I am an avid runner. So every less weight counts. When I say this thing bumps. It bumps. Perfect for when I don't want to use my headphones. Would I buy it again? Yes I would. Great value for the money. Don't let the size fool you. People can hear the speakers from 30+ feet away. It sounds like a mini system in my work truck. I'm not sure how long it will last. I just got it 3 4 days ago. Today 9/17/26 is the first time I used it. Super impressed.

i got bored !! lol . i seen a little dewalt bluetooth speaker (made for your belt or shirt collar ect) that can answer your phone too ..i made the sticker for the phone holder ! it sounds very good..

Very loud and clear wearable blue tooth speaker. It's better than the previous model which I still have. Easy to clip on clothes and the light comes in handy, highly recommend.👍👍

This is great. I clip it on (stays clipped when moving around) when I'm doing chores for music and audiobooks. Plenty loud (over household machine noise.) Clear, great sound. Can take quick calls and the person on the other end understands me (helps to position it close enough to mouth.) Bluetooth stays connected. DeWalt is a break from in-ear buds. Still close to head, though. If there was an optional cover that shields from the negative effects of bluetooth, it'd be perfect. I can easily find it when I put it down (bright yellow.)

This mighty little device reminded me of my first pager, if you know what I am talking about.
As I am walking in my neighborhood and got stopped by several friendly neighbors asking where the sound is coming from. I showed them then we got onto the topic of the pager, and they were shocked at how clear the sound and the LED built in. I have bone conduction headphones but still can’t be aware of my surroundings because the sound is too close to my ears. Love it so much, I bought another one for my daughter to use it when she is studying.

The additional light function on this wonderful little device makes it so much more versatile. Now, i can just wear it when out for a walk listening to music and w/o having to carry a extra light at night. Same ruggedness and sound quality of the original plus the light made it an easy choice for me.

I bought this as i gift for a friend who goes on walks daily. They needed something easy, durable, and fictional. With the sound of traffic it was hard to hear their phone.

It’s great! I use it at work clipped to the top of my welding helmet. Even in a loud environment the sound is still clear. This isn’t a speaker for large groups. if you plan to use it for personal use like I do, it’s more than loud enough. If clipped at your chest or neck or on top of a hollow helmet the volume is fine. It last all of my 10 hour shifts!

It was great for about a week until I got a little bit of grease on it in a kitchen… now it just sounds tinny. I tried cleaning it with a brush and soap but hasn’t returned back to its original sound.

Since we aren’t allowed to use earphones at work this small speaker is great to carry around and play music while you’re out and about. The battery lasts a while, I forgot I had it on all day and it still said high battery after checking the level. The bass is not that good unless played at max volume and even then it sounds like the speaker is gonna pop. The sound quality sounds like I’m hearing music from an old radio with some crackling sounds in the music here and there. It’s very compact and the clip is sturdy so if you’re running or are doing a lot of physical activity I am confident it will now fall off. I wish the sound quality could be a bit better especially the bass but I wouldn’t expect much from such a small speaker which is the only reason I wanted it was for its size and ability to clip on. Over all works as it is intended to

I work in the oilfield and have tried a number of different speakers to answer my calls via Bluetooth. This is by far the clearest sounding for calls and people can hear me well too. I can leave my phone in the truck and work without having to worry about ruining it. The clip is very sturdy and has never slid off. I wear it on my t shirt collar and can easily hear it. One tap to answer a call and two taps to decline the call. I listen to YouTube downloads on it basically all day and it pairs well with my truck Bluetooth. I leave it on and when I get out of the truck I just tap the button and it transfers to the Dewalt speaker. High quality construction, clear audio, awesome built in microphone, the battery lasts for a few days at a time, and charges extremely fast. It was highly recommended to me and now I know why.

I’m a mail carrier. We aren’t aloud head phones. But I have a case on my phone to keep water out and to make sure it doesn’t break. It’s a great case however it makes it impossible to hear me when I try to answer a phone call. So I need headphones or something to hear and be heard. I always have a headphone in one ear outside of work so it’s not a problem. I found this and I clip it to my shirt or my bag strap. And it’s amazing. Total game changer. Now I don’t listen to music on it so I can’t vouch for that. But works amazing for podcasts. I turn it down low and I can hear it but other can’t unless they are super close to me. I love this dang thing and I’m glad I purchased it! It’s pretty durable I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be waterproof but it holds up well to sweat and light rain. Those are the only conditions I’ve had so far but again great device you won’t be disappointed unless you’re looking for something with like super base then you may be disappointed lol

I had the newer one and love it but the clip broke and I was looking for a replacement and bought this. This is the older design, here are the pros and cons compared to the newer design:
Pros
1) It's much less expensive. All the electronic components are pretty much identical to the newer design, its volume level and sound quality is the same.
2) Its backplate has a foot allowing it to stand upright on your desk
3) Its clip is most likely more durable because it isn't thin where the magnet would go
Cons
1) It does NOT have a magnet for attaching to your clothing (just a standard clip) or attaching to a metal item like your toolbox, car panel, etc...

They do seem to be very loud indeed for such a tiny little product, but even though the page said they would be the updated version and supposedly the updated version has magnets on the back, these ones didn't have magnets. Apparently these are not the updated version, however they are indeed very loud for such a tiny product. My only fear is that with them being so loud for such a tiny product that they may not last very long. However only time will tell that story. I ordered two of them because they say they only last up to 10 hours and I work a 12-hour plus shift, so we'll just see how they work over time. Seem excellent to start so far.

I hate wearing earbuds. I got a small speaker, but I’m always moving around or in and out of the house, and I can't always take it with me wherever I go. Echos used to connect each other but it seems like they no longer do that, so I've been just using one speaker or echo at home. So when I saw this wearable little speaker, I was intrigued. Then I realized it was made by Dewalt, my go-to tool company that I trust, so I ordered it right away.
This speaker is little. And I don’t personally think it is “ultra-lightweight,” but it sure is light.
At first, I had a hard time with the clip. It was somehow awkward to open it. However, I found out that placing my hand over the speaker with my thumb on the top of the clip and then pushing the top of the clip to open was the easiest way to clip it to the collar of my shirt,
Connecting the speaker to my iPhone via Bluetooth was simple and easy. I’m posting a video and a few photos, but as you can see, the simple + and - buttons will adjust the volume and skip/repeat the songs. I only got one call so far, but it took it without any issues.
Listening to music with this little speaker is so much better than relying on the speakers or Echos because I can just take it with me when I go out. After almost getting into an accident with an ambulance when I was young, I no longer blast my music in the car. So this little speaker is actually perfect for me. I can clip this speaker on my right side collar and still hear the street noise while driving from the left side.
Does it sound like a cheapy toy speaker? No, it’s definitely better than that. Does it sound like a few hundred-dollar speakers? Probably not, but I never owned one, so I’m happy with what I got.

This product is a very handy product for whenever I want to bring music on the go…its very loud for its size, super easy to carry, and able to be clipped on anywhere on the body! Their new improved version comes in a package is very easy to get the speaker out, it no longer comes in a package that is knit shut on all sides and in cases, the speaker on the top and bottom. It also excludes the magnetic clip, it is now a speaker with the DeWalt logo on the back and no magnet…which is good for me because I always keep losing the magnetic clip and there is no spare that comes with it. It could also be better by them adding sharper teeth inside the clip on, so it’ll better stay clipped on to the person’s clothing so it won’t fall off as easily.

I can see where people have problems with it not having a magnetic clip on it but my husband uses it for work and he has thick clothes (welding shirts) it does sound loud but you can’t tell in the video because the song ended. However also in the video you can see it is a weird clip the way it opens is at a weird angle but it doesn’t bother my husband much.
