Circuit Works Fine But Blue LED Indicator Does Not Work

I bought two of these to use with a Home Automation Voice Announcement System I'm creating. It does work, but the blue LED on both does not work. I thought they were both not powered at first, but they seem to work fine - just no blue LED. One big issue with me is there is no silkscreening on the circuit board to tell you what each pin does. I'm posting a picture that shows the pin identifications for those of you that need it.

Excellent quality!

Works great! I set this up and got a song running in 15 minutes. The makers made it super simple with online specifications

& schematics. I’ll be enjoying this little guy with my Arduino soon!

Big Sound in a Tiny Package

This MP3 module is worth every penny. It has many features that make it a great choice for any project that involves audio. The documentation is comprehensive and helpful, and the quality is excellent. Unlike many cheap imitations, this is the real deal. It works as advertised, with all the stand-alone functions operating smoothly. I am using it in a project that requires audio feedback for the user, and it communicates well with the UART interface. It flawlessly plays both MP3 and WAV audio files, making it perfect for embedding voice prompts, music, or sound effects into your projects.

The mini-MP3 player functionality is ideal for adding sound effects or music to any project. It is easy to integrate and use, with a user-friendly interface that suits both beginners and experts. I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to add audio to their project.

It works!!

Couldn't get the knockoffs to work but this one does.

DRPlayer works flawlessly.

With so many knock offs this appears to be the genuine item. As mentioned in the data sheet, 4.2 volts is the magic number. At both ends of the tolerated voltage range I get the buzz of death. All stand-alone functions seem to work. Beware of fake DFPlayers.
