Make sure is not used

The book looks worn out. Missing stickers very disappointing. It was a gift for my grandson

Good book

Little upset it came in bent, wondering if it was a return? But aside from that it’s a good book and my daughter enjoyed it. It really helped her not be scared for first grade. It’s quite encouraging.

DO NOT BUY!! Terrible message-read review

I purchased this book for my precious niece. I am so thankful I read this before gifting to her. Zoom in on pics above to see terrible messaging. Maybe some 6 years old function this way but it certainly shouldn’t be celebrated.

Kindergarten grad gift!

Cute book, easy ready with a fun bonus! A cute, inexpensive kindergarten graduation gift!

Packaging

I really like the book itself, it’s really cute and fun! I bought it for my granddaughter for kindergarten graduation!

I was very upset on how I received it though. Upon taking it out of the bag, (I purchased a shirt for her so they packaged it together) it was bent all up & theres no fixing that. I’ve straightened it out the best I can but still so disappointing! I feel like it should of been packaged in between something firm to keep it straight and in good shape, especially since it’s a paperback book! ☹️

Damaged

Received this book damaged

Disappointing

It’s not a story, just some random poems that don’t make sense to me, much less to a kindergarten class. I strongly do NOT recommend

Cute Book

Cute Book about going into 1st grade! I thought it was going to be more story telling straight through not different little stories (my reason for 4 ⭐), but overall I like it! I would recommend. My big Kindergartner Graduate is going to love it! I bought this and "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" with a graduation teddy bear for a gift for him and I can't wait to give it to him at his Graduation party! 🎓🎉😎

It help my kid to be brave first day at School

It helps my kid to get a better understanding, what it would be like being in First Grade for the first time.

I love this book!

It’s an awesome book! My son was first really scared to go to his first day of first grade, but one night I read him this book and he loved it! So on the first day of first grade, he was really happy and exited, and he wasn’t scared anymore!

Disjointed book - save your money

This book was very disjointed. Poor storyline. I tried to read it to my soon to be 1st grader and it just didn’t make any sense.

It always promotes bad behavior by a kid being mad about not getting a cupcake. Then additionally has two friends who fight everyday and then become friends again. Not necessary to use the word “war” in the book. Six and 7 years olds don’t know what “war” means.

Great book!

I bought Kindergarten Here I Come last year and my daughter loved it. First Grade Here I Come did not disappoint! My daughter loved it just as much and is so excited for first grade! One of the pages did come damaged, it looks like some type of water stain? But the packaging was sealed well so perhaps a manufacturer error? If not for that I would have given 5 stars for sure!

Archaic, bully glorifying, & racial bias

The only black kid in this book is shown as being hungry as soon as he gets to school. Instead of the teacher recognizing this and trying to help him, she keeps going on and the kids seem to chorale in not addressing his hunger.

I feel like the pages about “BFF” is what breeds “Mean Girls.” Emotional intelligent kids, use their words about how to work through disagreements and grow from their experiences.

The Armpit King was unnecessary and crude. Why even have this in a book about starting ANY grade.

Big Teeth - the line about “I’m such a freak”

Kids lose their teeth at different rates, being labeled a “freak” about now losing teeth shouldn’t be something that kids have to worry about. I would’ve appreciated a growth mindset viewpoint about losing teeth.

Also, any teacher would recognize that sending a kid home with 500lbs of glitter on an art project is going to get them fired.

I DONT recommend this book.

Sweet little book.

Perfect for my graduating kindergartner. As a bonus, it even came with stickers.

Ok book

I liked the book and so did my 6 year old first grader. But the book is just different rhymes made into different little stories
