Enter the Void Kong

Funnest and most visually stunning game I've played in a long time. If you like exploration games this is for you, cause I have a blast destroying the environment and finding bananas. The music alone deserves 5 stars, it is so catchy, the songs are constantly stuck in my head. It has a unique Zootopia/Wreck it Ralph vibe. All the worlds have such great details that make it very immersive and just genuinely fun.

Excellent single player game!! Lots of freedom & exploration

I’ve really enjoyed DK Banaza - being able to destroy the environment gives the player a lot of freedom & an extra sense of exploration on top of a game that’s already designed to very much satisfy that need. I’ve beat the game 3 times now, so I’m less impressed by the time I’m leaving this review, however it is currently the only real single player game available on the switch 2 (& made exclusively for the switch 2).

This game has a lot to offer for players of all ages. I’ve enjoyed it as an adult, but I’m certain children love it probably even more. Which, I love exploration in games, so I love it a lot myself.

Hope we see more games soon, but this is an excellent release from Nintendo. Developed by the Mario Odyssey team, who are very talented. Lots of hidden passageways & treasures, and a strong attention to detail. Ie, my video attached to this: you can throw soft material (dirt, sand, etc.) at fractones & it alters their body shape haha. It’s like the most pointless, satisfying little detail, I love it.

DK Bananza is nominated for Game of The Year (GOTY), and is deserving of that nomination. It is extremely unlikely that it will win, being up against Expedition 33 & Silksong, but it is certainly worthy of the nominee, & is the best single player game currently available on Switch 2 without a doubt.

Lo que no me gusta es que cambiaron el color de la caja por rojo, y juegos como este que traen doble portada, no se logra apreciar por dentro

Amazing from start to finish

I'm a long time gamer, and have always loved the Donkey Kong Country series and it's many sequels and side games. This one truly makes the world the characters come from feel alive and respects both those who know these characters from the past and new fans alike. The game play is very reminiscent of Super Mario Oddysey as the same devs worked on this game. The mechanics used in this game however, differ by a long shot. You'll collect lots of different forms of currencies and doodads to obtain in game items to make DK stronger via a skill tree and equipable cosmetics. Destructable terrain, some pretty impressively thought out 3d platforming and some amazing voice work and many references to tug at long time fans' heartstrings.

I highly reccomend it and it brings me great joy knowing this will be many new fan's introduction to Donkey Kong as a character and series.

Donkey Kong Bananza feels like a GoTY title!

I won’t go into too much about the game since it is better to experience it first hand. Donkey Kong Bananza is what I wanted for a very long time and delivers on all aspects. The graphics are really good and the resolution looks considerably high on my 4K HDR TV. I’m thoroughly impressed by just how well this game runs considering it offers full world destruction which usually tanks frame rates. It is just so satisfying being able to break almost everything in the level. There are house shaped NPCs that build Getaways for you to sleep in and chill to music on a record player. Make sure to sleep at each one you come across as they contain really nice story elements you’ll otherwise miss on your play through. There are a few classic DK Challenge Stages in this as well and so far my favorite is Bramble Country; I've only done 2 so far. This game is great and I can’t wait to see the finale and how it plays out. The only other thing I’ll add is just how great the transformation songs are. Take a listen!

This is REQUIRED of you own a Switch 2!

Haven't gotten too far yet as it's too much fun destroying things and exploring. But it's a must buy if you have a Switch 2. And if you don't, it's a reason to own one!

This product was delivered straight to my door the day after purchase. I bought this for my friend's birthday and he has not been able to put it down. Highly recommend that if anyone is considering this for themselves that they pull the trigger and make the purchase. Donkey Kong is a classic and this game has helped to bend classic with the technology of the new era. Very happy with purchase.

Near-Perfect Game? :)

I was hopeful that this would be an amazing game but it’s better than I imagined it would be! Made by the same team as Mario Odyssey so if you’re a fan of that type of game youre going to LOVE DK Bananza. Of all the games in my collection, this feels the most worthwhile for the price. ❤️

Best DK game ever made

Just buy it. It’s the best game to come out on Switch 2 by a long shot. Sorry Mario Kart… good game but this game is not good it’s incredible. If you liked Mario Odyssey, then this is right up your alley.

Damaged box

Fun game, but the delivery team damaged the goods. The purpose of buying physical games is to have them come in excellent condition.

DK Bananza is a beautiful game

The game is very beautiful graphically and overall, just a lot of fun from just experiencing it for a while. Great level design fun characters and creative mechanics, just everything a perfect 3D platforming game would need and it works really well here.

He's the leader of the bunch, you know him well, he's finally back, to kick some tail, his coconut gun, can fire in spurts, if he shoots ya, it's gonna hurt! He's bigger, faster, and stronger too, he's the first member, of the DK CREW . HUh!

Nintendo doing exactly what they do well!

Not very far into the game yet but so far so good. Definitely a top tier 3d platformer!

Out of 10 I'd give it a solid 8.75/10. For reference I have Odyssey as a 9.25 and Astro Bot at 9.5 (IMO Astro Bot is the best 3d platformer to date). My initial rating is subject to change and I'll update as I get further into the game.

Simply put, this game is a MUST HAVE for any Nintendo fan or fan of 3d platformers!
