I think it's great other then my unit is defective and light doesn't work.

Update sent me another unit box was crushed and unit yellow lights didn't work. Sending it back. That's the replacement. I still have the first one. I'm deciding on keeping it or not. Is the light's that important??? Yes there are. Did I pay for the light's to work? I would say so because it's advertised as so. Do I like the unit ? Yes very much just don't expect the yellow lights to work. I really think it's a shipping issue. Fragile electronics shipped with a bunch of other stuff crushed by the weight of the other packages. Also it doesn't take much to kill the diodes or blow them with banging around. JustI don't want to rate it a 3. It seems to work other then the lights. I either got a return or a damaged unit. It's very quiet and sounds great. But I'm worried the unit will break down. I'm pretty broken up about it. I put this on a payment plan through affirm ( I think ) and I can't afford to buy another. That's life sometimes. I don't have have anything bad to say about Donner because other then the lights it sounds good. But is it at 100%. I have nothing to compare it to ( another donner 10 band eq ). Maybe they will back up there product. If not there's not much I can do. That's the thing with getting electronics through delivery. I would still buy it again just because it's really cool. Don't suspect Donner to back up there product. They will tell you you bought it through another suppler. There Name on the product and should honor there adds or just be honest??? Light's in add is for looks only and we show you that to deceive you. I don't think any of the pedals light's work. You get what you pay for. I should of bought anyone other 10 band EQ then Donner. Why care you already bought it and they got paid. They don't care if it works or not because they didn't supply it. You have to go straight through them?? I paid 50$ for a EQ that has a green light and the only way to see it is to put your own light that you already paid for. Other then that it works great. I'm going to keep it because I've read horror stories on most of these 10 band EQ. Just buy . MXR 10 band or 6. At least you know your buying a garenteed back up and great Item.

Quality pedals at a cost saver price!

I'm taking off 1 star (only half a star, if i could)...only because I wish they would have had the very top of the sliders colored white, or another bright color. That, would make it much easier to see the position of the EQ sliders. I may paint them white at the top, myself...not sure yet.

As for the EQ pedal itself, it is excellent! It REALLY made my amp, sound SO much better; like day & night. I'm very happy with my tone now...& it also has much more "punch". I have it ON at all times, because of how much better my amp sounds now. I now consider my equalizer to be the most important pedal I own.

It's well built; the sliders & on/off footswitch have a high quality feel to them. The footswitch is very smooth...it barely makes a sound when using it.

I'm very impressed with Donner pedals. I also have their "Echo Square" delay pedal. It's excellent! I'm also impressed with the fact, that they are VERY quiet. I don't hear any hiss, etc. Quality pedals at a "cost saver" price! I plan to purchase another pedal from Donner this month; the "Mod Square 2". It has 2 Phase Shifter modes (my main reason for buying it), plus Chorus, Flanger, Wah, etc. I'm really looking forward to having that in my signal chain as well.

I highly recommend Donner, & I wish I knew about them much sooner.

EDIT: I added rubber caps, the Inknote brand. It has made a world of difference in how well I can see the sliders now. I believe I used the 4.5mm size...& cut some of the extra off...& SUCCESS! They were very easy to put on.

Has an electric fault _ Don't buy!

I don't feel safe using this product. The pedal seems solid enough, I didn't feel comfortable enough testing to see if the sound through it was any good because I didn't want to destroy my equipment. I have learned to test these things as a process because there is so much that can go wrong from electric shocking yourself to melting or breaking $$$$s of gear. This is one of those times I didn't even want to risk it.

This isn't the first time I have been burned by faulty products and yes their return policy is great, but all of this has a cost to the consumer. It is relatively convenient to return things, but not free to drive to the near by UPS store. I assume all of these costs are factored in, but I would prefer to buy a good product and pay a little more than to go through the hassle.

This brand and any other off brands beware. I expected more from a Canadian company.

Good as Mxr?

Just in case you're wondering how this stands up against the $150 MXR?...I placed them side by side on my PA, and couldn't tell the difference!

Gets the job done

This unit is sized perfectly for my pedalboard layout. The frequency selection is exactly what I needed to gain clarity in my rig.

Great pedal

This is a great eq pedal built well the problem I have with this pedal is the in and out jacks they should be on the sides to make it more used friendly on a pedalboard

Straight-forward EQ, works

Seems like a nice, straightforward pedal that does what Equalizers do, boost/cut frequencies. I'm not a fan of artwork on pedals (one star off for that). I don't know what birds have to do with an EQ pedal. I just like straight forward pedals (brand name, knob labels, etc). Disappointed in shipment. Shipped in huge plastic bag, produce fell outside of the product box inside the big bag (no padding, not even bubble wrap) and was damaged. Product box closes kind of like a coffin with a magnet to keep it closed, but that wasn't good enough to keep it closed in the plastic bag. Good pedal for the money, bad buying experience.

Love it

This is such a value. Works great, 15 db boost, logical eq notches... What more could you ask for? I get kind of annoyed by more shallow 6 db boosts because, personally, I like to carve my tone a little more than that. The 15 db is a nice sweet spot and yeah... it's an eq pedal. No noise and solid build quality. I'm satisfied.

It'll surprise the hell out of you!!!!!

Ok so i got this pedal as a cheap way to shape and boost my sound on my bass. Wow i never expected the sound i just heard. This lil thing is bad azz!!! As you see I'm paying on a little peavy tko 75 watt amp and the donner eq pedal just brought this thing to life!!! The sound is so punchy and crisp and clear. I suggest to any bass player looking for a cheaper eq pedal to buy this. I'm blown away at the sound quality. This thing is smaller than i expected (which IMO) is better but it's a heavy lil guy built solid. I am truly impressed with this item!!! Only con I have found is that you have to barely increases the level to get it to "kick" in but other than that it's right on the money!!! BUY THIS PEDAL!!!!!

versatile tiny EQ pedal

this pedal looks, feels, and sounds great. the case is metal, slider controls are hard plastic but feel solid as well. mine doesn't add noise, and helps shaving off or adding that little extra where you want it. the volume control is capable of a powerful boost, enough to drive the my clean preamp into crunchy breakup. as you can see from the pictures, this EQ pedal is really small and not hard to fit on a board. the pedal came in a nice sturdy box, with manual, but doesn't include power adapter and does not run on battery either. does exactly what you want an EQ to do in a tiny quality package - great value!

Donner EQ Seeker is a Fun and Useful Tool!

The solid build EQ Seeker is clean, super-versatile, compact, and offers lots of sonic solutions. I've tested my acoustic and electric guitars, keyboards, wah pedal, and room mix through it with pleasant and fun results. Photo two below is set for a more baritone guitar solo sound. Cleaned up muddy pickups in photo three. Squelched 2K feedback in photo four. Lots o fun messing with the frequencies through the wah pedal.

The unit is true bypass. Never a click, pop, or hiss. The one foot switch is power on/off next to the green led. There are ten frequency and one master level sliders and they're smooth with a solid center detente. All offer true 15db cut and boost. The unit feels solid but not heavy. It has not gotten hot to the touch in the time I've had it.

Note, it does not come with a 9 volt DC power adapter and there is no 9 volt battery option. Not a problem for most but I wanted to take off half a Star for Versatility but the ratings are whole numbers only.

All in all the EQ Seeker is another in an impressive lineup of good things in small packages from Donner. It will get use in my pedal board, with my wah, and other projects. A useful tool and a great value!

10 Band Full Bypass with 15dB + and 15 dB - Individual Band and Total Gain Equilizer

This equalizer will work with any mono signal entering it from any source: instrument, voice, media, any source. The literature says it takes 500mA center negative 9VDC power. That means check your 9VDC system to power it to make sure it is 500mA (0.5A) or greater current with a center negative 9VDC output. Most power supplies designed for pedals will be sufficient. It has full bypass capability. It works well to individual band or total output increase or decrease gain by 15dB. 3dB negative is half power, 3dB positive is double power. So this pedal is capable of substantial control with the ability to control each of ten individual bands and also using an overall 'master' control. It is simple to operate and provides a human factors type of display of the signal modification using the settings of the individual bandwidths. It is built rugged, attractive, and I did not notice any noise addition created by the EQ Seeker to my output signal going to my amplifier. I believe that the EQ Seeker is a very nice addition to my pedal arrangement.

Donner 10 band is great for bass also. You can fine tune your sound to the the perfect equalization using this effect pedal. Works well with any amp, you will have the sound you are looking far. Enjoy this pedal.

10/10 on versatility, performance, and quality!!

Amazing build on this pedal, and just overall great versatility. You can use it as a booster, or even just to model your amps clean sound. Put it in front of your gain pedals to modulation how they sound. I’m absolutely in love with this little thing.
