Glassy squeeze to your tone. Every note rings out at the same volume and out does it fast. They say it's based on the 1176, and it does have that squishy bounce that an 1176 can muster. Quite a lot of clean gain on tap and the fast response at the fastest settings impressed me. Think Steely Dan or Michael MacDonald style cleans and it pairs well with overdrives and hard clip distortions. It's transparently quiet at the optimal settings. There's nothing here to dislike. At the cost of a single pub visit you can get a great compressor tone. Nobody as of this writing have made videos about it. Take it from me, Theres NOTHING TO DISLIKE about this pedal. 4/5 stars because I feel the ratio knob is mislabeled as "limit".
