Great sound quality, sounds like I'm in a bar listening to 90s hits. It's louder than expected and definitely worth the buy if you looking for a speaker to fill a room. I'm planning on taking this with me to work too so they can hear me like I'm a radio station. Definitely waterproof, had it out on a rainy night and it held its ground even with water running off it durable for sure.

Initial impressions are disappointing. The base is not at all what I expected and subpar at best. I suppose you get what you pay for for $100. This is a portable Bluetooth speaker with a decent battery life. However spend more money if you want quality sound

LOVE THIS!!!
My Bose of 6 years broke and I thought I was never gonna find a loud speaker again. I tried the JPl flip 5 and it wasn’t loud enough for me. But this speaker is loud! It’s got a few good perks- it shuts off automatically if you leave it on with no music playing after a few minutes. The base is nice, you can change the colors on the speakers . I highly recommend!!😃

This is a little heavy to carry around, but the sound is fantastic. Great volume. It’s a little heavily weighted towards the bass, which makes it great for music, but muffles speech a little bit.
Keep in mind you can’t press and hold the volume, but have to do multiple single presses. It defaults to max volume the first time you turn it on.

I came across some mildly negative reviews from shootouts on YouTube. I saw one on a deal, so I decided to give it a try anyway. I was def NOT disappointed. Is it the most hifi speaker I’ve ever heard? No. BUT, it more than outperforms its price point. When I found out it could do TWS by adding a second, I bought another. It took the whole rig to the next level and still came in cheaper than its competitors. I’m only out approx $200 and got a portable water resistant stereo system that I could easily annoy the neighbors with. So far more than worth every penny.
Edit: it’s rare for people to give updates months in that are positive. I have used these things for barbecues, birthday parties, hanging out in the yard with the family and even working on various projects in the garage. 100% would buy these thing again. For added assurance, I’m just a regular dude (and a musician/IT professional) from Mississippi. I’ve not spoken with nor received any encouragement or compensation from the seller (though I gladly would take another pair of these if the seller/manufacturer were feeling generous😉).

I was not familiar with the name Doss until maybe a year ago and my introduction to their audio equipment was marked by an experience that satisfied but was mostly unremarkable. But time in the right hands can translate to progress and this new speaker from Doss has been a reminder of that adage. Better sound, a more even balance of highs and lows that are consistent right up the point before max volume, (max level does start to wane a bit) and some impressive lighting that follows the music patterns more precisely show a clear improvement over it's predecessor and make it easier to argue in favor of. It is heavy. Actually a bit heavier than it looked even, but not so much so that it's any kind of serious burden... Battery life, portability and pairing are all noticibly stronger and all together make a case for doss as a company that although seem to still be searching for that sweet spot, are at least making progress towards that goal and at this rate will reach it sooner rather than later.

Great Speaker, Large and Heavy
I am not a fan of Bluetooth speakers in general. Most of them sound boxy and have excessive boomy, vague bass which is impossible to EQ out with the limited controls on most phone or tablet media players. Unless you are willing to pay $1K and more for one of the premium speaker brands the choices are limited in the budget price range. I was pleasantly surprised by the DOSS. The unfortunate choice of name 'Extreme Boom+' put me off and I was anticipating sending this one back because of the typical boom box sound. It paired up easily with my Android phone and I tested using the HiByMusic app which is one of the highest audio quality players. Initially the extreme bass option was switched off on the DOSS and I found the speaker had insufficient deep bass. I played around with the EQ and found it sounded less boxy with the 250Hz band turned down -3db. The bass sounded quite nice when I lifted the 125hz and 60hz bands by around +3-6db. The midrange benefited with a slight reduction of -2db but this was relatively insignificant and could be left flat across the mid and treble range. I tested with rock and vocal jazz, indoors in a medium sized room with the speaker placed on a table away from corners. The sound was pleasant and balanced at low to medium levels. It does get hard and brittle at high volumes. When I tested outdoors, I turned on the extreme bass setting and removed the bass boost in the player EQ. The DOSS has quite a bass heavy balance with this setting which really only works outdoors.
To put it into perspective, this is not a HiFi speaker, but overall it is one of the best sounding in its price range. For casual listening, outdoors, beach, picnics, it has an excellent sound that is not tiring to listen to like so many budget boom boxes. It has the gimmicks like the flashing LED lights if that is your thing. The build quality is solid and this is a heavy speaker. If you plan to hike with it or are concerned about weight, look elsewhere. I have not tested the direct connections at the back, but I suspect that it will sound even better since Bluetooth is not the ideal transmission medium and does impart a brittle digital tone to any sound. The modern Bluetooth standards are better but by no means as good as a direct connection to the speaker using the output of a decent DAC. The design of the DOSS is quite attractive. Unfortunately the Extreme logos printed on the back are garish and spoil the look. DOSS is not doing itself any favors trying to appeal to the market that is attracted to this type of thing.
Overall I can recommend the DOSS. It is a good value option that performs above expectation and is well made.

Amazing sound, 100 synch devices??
Absolutely love the sound of this system. Even without it's impressive bass boost the full rich sound is a nice surprise.
I haven't, nor will I purposefully test it's water rating however it is the second highest rating, with the higher only being different in how deep it can go. I'm always hesitant about this though where the plugs are concerned. Sure this has a rubber cover but I can't imagine that if you have it the slightest bit loose or crooked that water could get in.
Overall though this feels very solid. While a bit heavy it's comfortable to carry and has a strap even that you can fling over your shoulder or however else you need to pack it.
My only real concern with getting out and using this in "the wild", is that the subs on the ends are very exposed. I worry about the end pushing into a stick or something. I wish they had some sort of a shield to help protect them.
Otherwise, awesome speakers, awesome.peice, and.. it can synch with up to 100 other devices? That's just crazy!
The only thing I'm not certain about there is that where it describes how to do that it does mention connecting with more of the same speakers so not 100% sure if they HAVE to be more of this same speaker or if that was just their example. I don't have other synch speakers to try it out with.

Product is good but dented when I opened it
Functioning but disappointed with the handling. Not sure if the store sent an already dented item or this is the courier's fault. Would be nice if I can get a little bit of refund.

I was actually very disappointment in this speaker and the flat, absent lows it produced until I read the instructions and figured out how to change the bass setting. You have to press and hold M button for 3 seconds for the lows to wake up in this speaker. Once the bass is on, all the flatness of this speaker is gone! You get hi fidelity sound with full base even on a very loud setting. However, because the amplifier in this speaker is so powerful, at some point the volume level will surpass what this speaker is able to handle and there will be some distortion and harshness to what you hear. But this happens only at a very high volume levels that should not be used indoors anyway.
This speaker is very heavy probably due to the weight of the battery inside which is awesome, the life of this speaker with this battery is really really long! It worked all day at a loud volume with lights and hasn't died yet. However, I noticed there is a delay in speech in Bluetooth mode with this speaker. I never had this before and not sure if there is something my phone can compensate for, but there is a noticeable delay between the picture and sound when you are watching people talking.

I like this Bluetooth speaker boom box. The sound is clear and it has a nice base beat to it. It’s rechargeable and waterproof. It’s easy to connect through the Bluetooth. It has a little weight to it.

This boombox is everything!
I got this boom box because it is Bluetooth which makes it basically wireless (to me) I like that it has bright led colors that bounce a long with the sound and it is compatible with my Alexa which makes everything even better. I really like it, it's got great sound quality. It's lightweight and I can take it to a lot of places with me. The portability is really good. I'm going to give it up for out of 5. Because I don't know how long. The life will last so I'll give you an update if I decide to change it from 4 to 5 Stars.

This Doss is The Boss
Doss Extreme Boom Pro is their latest and most powerful portable outdoor speaker. Out of the box it's got a nice solid heft to it. I connected to Bluetooth and literally stepped back when the speaker started blasting music in my face at near max volume!
With 100 watts of power, this thing really belts out the tunes with clean balanced sound and good thumping bass. The beat-driven lights are a nice touch with six different modes. You can use the speaker as a power bank with its large rechargeable battery. For portability there's a solid handle and a detachable shoulder strap included. Also in the box is a USB-C charge cable, Aux cable and instructions. Recommended for indoor or outdoor use with rugged weather resistant shell and long-lasting battery.
edit: I compared the Doss Extreme Pro to the W-King speaker that costs about the same.
They're close in weight and size as well as battery capacity. W-King has a bit more mid-bass, but Doss has a more balanced sound with clearer highs, more power, extra portability with shoulder strap and a better light show. I still love my W-King, but Doss Extreme Boom Pro is the new Boss.

Great sound for a Bluetooth speaker!
What can I say that I didn't say in the video I'm impressed by the sound that's coming out of this boombox. I was not expecting the quality that I was hearing it was rich it was deep the highs were perfect the base was exactly where it should be driving the sound and that's what it was doing I don't think the video did it justice but this is a really really for portable speaker bluetooth that's not a huge big brand name it does fairly well can hold its own with some of those for sure. I definitely like it and definitely recommend it if you're looking for a nice inexpensive Bluetooth speaker portable it's got the lights that sink to the music you really good sound if this was what you're looking for I definitely recommend it.
