Decent Mouse and Smooth, Accurate Movement - Speech Recognition is Ok and no Laser Pointer

This mouse has a nice feel to it, and works well when connected by the USB receiver. I intentionally avoid connecting my mouse and keyboard via bluetooth because I find it causes lag and a drop in accuracy. It has a nice, silent operation and the buttons work well, even if the roller on it is a bit too smooth and slippery.

A couple things to note, however. The product title states this has a laser pointer, but it does not. Next - the voice recognition is ok in English, but worse in Spanish. I speak pretty decent Spanish, and it would be awesome if I could more easily translate between English and Spanish. Unfortunately, this doesn't make the cut in Spanish, though English is passable. I do like the battery indicator on the top of it. It takes the guesswork out of the life of the battery.

In terms of value for the money, I think it's a miss. The features are cool, but not functional enough to warrant the cost of the mouse. And the laser pointer is not included. Overall, I'll give this three stars. As a mouse, it works great, but all of the other features are either mediocre or non-existent.

Mouse with voice to text.

This is a neat mouse, with the biliary to translate speech into text. The mouse weighs 2.65 ounces, it has a slender profile. It has a silver finish, it looks very similar to my mac's aluminum aesthetics. There are two main buttons, they have an almost silent sound when you click them. The ai button and speaker button, both have a solid audible click sound. The wheel has a nice smooth action to it.

This mouse has a battery, it has a very long battery life and is usb-c chargeable. It has tri connectivity and connected easily with my mac. To use the voice to text feature you need to use there miclinkset software. The voice to text feature works pretty well, similar to on a smartphone.

One-Click AI Voice Typing

I received this DragoBud AI wireless mouse recently, and the standout feature has to be the one-click AI voice key that turns speech into text almost instantly. It's been handy during long work calls or when jotting down quick notes without stopping to type everything out. The accuracy is pretty good for everyday use, and it even handles summaries well enough to capture the main points from meetings.

As a regular mouse, it feels comfortable and ergonomic, with silent clicks that don't disturb anyone around, and the battery lasts a long time on a single charge. Connecting it to my laptop was straightforward with Bluetooth or the USB receiver, and switching between devices is seamless. The local processing means everything stays private, which is a nice touch.

Overall, it's a solid upgrade for office work if you deal with a lot of dictation or multilingual stuff, though it took a bit to get used to the extra buttons. Definitely makes tasks faster once you're in the groove. 🖱️🎤

This Mouse Has a Secret

Here’s a mouse that can do much more than most mice (tested on macOS Tahoe 26.0.1 using a Mac Mini Pro M4 with 64GB of RAM). Of course, it can point and click and it does that with extreme quietude.

But it also has annoying problems, such as a serious problem with its mouse wheel, which is so slippery it’s hard to get any traction between finger and wheel. In addition, it stutters across the screen more often than not. Neither of those characteristics is acceptable.

Even so, it includes a microphone that can pick up my voice from about two feet away, and understands what I’m saying with impressive accuracy.

There's another button on the top of the mouse that invokes a speech-recognition engine, which, like long-time speech recognition app Dragon (formerly called Dragon NaturallySpeaking), I was able to simply talk and see my text typed on the screen in real time.

This is a neat trick, and it might someday rival the smooth workflow of Dragon NaturallySpeaking. However, the wheels started to fall off after I talked to it for a few minutes. It feels like the system gets overloaded. It is impressive and disappointing at the same time.

It even has trouble working as a simple mouse. Even with its 2.4 GHz dongle (along with Bluetooth), its cursor still skips across the screen because of its unstable connection between mouse and computer.

Its makers made an astonishing leap when trying to create a mouse that could parse spoken text in real time with surprising accuracy. This product shows flashes of brilliance, yet it's not ready for prime time.

If the mouse would track smoothly, I would enjoy using it with my Mac all the time, but it can't even do that. It's also stuttering when I talk into its mic, and it performs poorly in dictation mode in any text box, particularly in ChatGPT. However, it’s not dependable enough and I’ll keep using my conventional headset for now.

I appreciate the effort with this product. It's a glimpse of where input devices are headed. It's a unique two-in-one gadget that someday will be surprisingly useful. That day has not arrived yet.

This device needs at least one more round of beta testing. I intend to wait about a year and try this again. But until then, I can't recommend it.
