It takes 70-90 seconds to measure!! With small children waking me up in the morning, that is eternity! Buyers be aware that it takes this long to measure. I have opened and tested it and it does take all of that time.

I used this thermometer in combination with the easy @ home pregnancy and ovulation test strips and got pregnant first try! It is easy to read and gives accurate temperatures.

Good value! My only complaint is it seems like it takes forever for the temperature to pop up. I like the protective case it came with.

This is designed very dangerously for use in a home with small children. The end of the thermometer easily pops off to reveal the button battery. A baby or toddler could do it no problem. It needs to be redesigned with even the simplest child safety mechanism.
If you have small kids and use this, please keep it stored inside a child proof container. Better yet, buy something else.

This BBT is a scam. It doesn’t pair, it doesn’t have usb Bluetooth and is misleading women. Please don’t buy this it’s a waste of your money!

It worked really great! I got pregnant with my first son because of the temping being so accurate with this that I knew exactly when I was ovulating. And then it stopped working... It turns on but it doesn’t read my temperature anymore. It worked for about 3 years but now it’s just not reading temperature anymore! Frustrating!

Watch out if you already have little ones. A spare battery is in the plastic packaging that I almost didn’t see. The battery-access tip of the thermometer comes off very easily, exposing the button battery. I almost lost the tip taking it off to remove the protective plastic strip from the battery. I taped the tip on, but I’m still not comfortable leaving this in my nightstand drawer where my curious 3-year-old can easily get it, which means I may not actually use it. I would not have purchased had I known these things. Considering returning. Thermometer function does seem fine, FWIW.

The thermometer works just fine…however, it is a safety hazard for anyone with small children around. The top of the thermometer easily pulls off to reveal a button battery. Anyone with small children know easily accessible button battery’s are a huge choking hazard. Considering that this product is marketed for use with family planning you would think they would consider this safety aspect, and added a screw or other feature to secure the cap on. Due to the safety risk I cannot keep it on my nightstand, and therefore cannot use it for BBT tracking.

I’ve been using a period app to track my irregular period since 2018. Recently (being in my late 20s) I wanted to know more about my cycle and fertility so I invested in an Ava bracelet as well as this BBT thermometer. This comes with its own app where you can log all your moods, symptoms, test results etc. I have only been using it for about a week now but so far I enjoy it. It seems accurate as long as you use it as directed. It does take a long time to get an accurate reading but once it beeps in your mouth then you know it’s done. I’d you sign up for their premium package they will send you a free ovulation test kit with 50 ovulation test strips. I am happy with this purchase and the app.

This is so dangerous if you already have little kids! The back cover that holds the battery easily pops off. My one year old can easily take it off and she is very interested in thermometers. If a child swallowed this they could die! I can't believe there is no screw incasement over the battery like my regular thermometer! I am throwing this away asap!

This thing is great! I wish I bought it sooner. It’s very quiet and doesn’t wake the sleeping bear. I like the black light. I can see what it says and go back to sleep. When I wake I can press the button to see my last temp to record it in my charting app (PreMom). I am trying to conceive (TTC) and I record my oral basil body temp (BBT) every morning before I get up. Before we had an issue of a loud beeping thermometer that sounded like a kitchen timer going off. I compared this with my noisy thermometer and they read accurately the same every time. Yay! Get it. Soft bite section, black light, quiet beep, two decimal places, accurate, last temp memory…. You’ll love it.
Book Tip: if you are trying to have a baby, or avoid one, or want to know more about charting your temps, you need to read “Taking Charge of Your Fertility”, there are so many signs I never knew what they were but have observed all my life. I wish all women were taught what’s in this book. Read it if you are female! I’m learning sooo much, it’s amazing.

It arrived yesterday. I used it five times. Today, it stopped working. It shows “Err” on the screen and shuts off. I replaced the battery. It still doesn’t work. Returning.

I gave accuracy a 4 only because I have only used it once so far. Color is pretty, it’s easy to read and use. The beeping isn’t an obnoxious one it’s soft and less irritating ha. And the light isn’t too bright but it just perfect enough to be able to read out your temp. It’s also quick to show you your previous temp if you happen to fall back asleep or forget to jot it down.

I’ve had this product for not even two months and it has “stopped working.” It worked pretty well for about a month although I had trouble with the memory recall. It would randomly delete all my data. I also agree with the other reviews that say it takes too long to take a measurement. But since I take my temp in the morning and I’m half asleep while I do so, I really don’t mind laying there for some time while it takes my temperature. However, for the past 16 days I’ve been hating this thermometer. After using the first battery for a while I got the low battery warning. So I stuck in the back up battery and with that battery in it only took two temperatures before giving me another low battery warning!! So I went to buy more batteries for it. I put a brand new battery into the thermometer and again it only lasted about two days!!! With a low battery warning I cannot take any temperatures. So I can no longer use it. With this product I’ve wasted money on the thermometer, the batteries I’ve bought for it, and I decided to try a fertility app for a month and that was wasted money due to the inconsistency of being able to measure.

Over all, this is a decent thermometer. I was having trouble finding a basal thermometer to track my cycle that was affordable and also backlit, until this one. I'm not much of a morning person so it's nice that I can read it without having to turn on lights. It has a memory recall function which works most of the time, but I've noticed that if I accidentally turn the thermometer on and off without using it, it erases my data and I can't get it back. Which is unfortunate when I don't really look at my temp in the morning and go to log it later but it's gone. I've been using it for about a year and most of the time it will recall my temps, but if you buy it just be aware that you might occasionally lose them.

Bought this thermometer that was priced well above the others for the tracking app... Which doesn't work because the thermometer won't pair. Although the thermometer is accurate (Which I could get at half the price) I tried about 15 times to pair with the thermometer to no avail. It said it should automatically pair when the thermometer is turned on, but won't detect it. I tried hard resetting both my phone & taking the battery out, as well as searching available Bluetooth devices, but can't see which MAc address to pair with.

Received the package early. Works well. It was mentioned that the product comes with a plastic case for keeping the thermometer. However, I don't seem to find the top cap for the case in the box. Is this intended or the cap of the case is indeed missing?

I looked at several different thermometers before choosing this one to track my BBT. The readings take around 1-2 minutes. It shows you your previous temperature when you turn it on, which is very helpful if you fall back to sleep and forget to log your temp right away. Mostly I appreciate that it has the backlit. It lights up when you first turn it on and while showing your previous temp, then the light goes out while your temp is being taken and then when the reading is ready it beeps and lights back up! Very easy to use and I love the color!

BUY a Basal thermometer because this one are more accurate than a regular thermometer, they measure can measure even the minutest changes in your basal body temperature than a regular thermometer can, that is why this thermometer are marketed mostly for women who want together pregnant because of their accuracy. They tend to be more expensive than a regular thermometer because they can detect deviations by the 10th degree when regular thermometer can only measure at increments of 2/10th degree. SO YES it will measure FEVER with an accurate temperature gradient. So they are quite useful, great quality and material, very accurate, when it turns on it reminds you of your last reading. Very satisfy with this!

Super easy to use, precise and clear. The blue light is very useful in the morning. Just press once, put it in your mouth, wait, it beeps and lights up and it is done. It is good that the last temperature is saved. It allows you to record it later.

Easy to read and use but not accurate what so ever !! My temp is never below 98.6 but it will not go above 98. With other thermometers it shows the right temp of my BBT. Obviously people wanted to know accurate results.

Hello fellow women TTC!
The best part about this BBT is the backlight. Its impossible to see when you're laying in bed trying not to move much to get an accurate reading without one. It has a soft tip which is nice for comfort. The only thing I wish I could change was how long it takes. A full 90 seconds in your mouth is kind of a pain. Regardless, it remembers your temp when you go back to chart it later (and are more awake lol). But I would recommend this thermometer to fellow charters. Thanks!
