High quality controller but not good for small hands

This controller feels luxurious and paired immediately with my Switch 2. It is sturdy, the color is accurate and it feels like it will last longer than my other controllers (Playstation, Xbox and Switch). I really wish I didn't have to return it but it is way too large for me to use comfortably. My hands are relatively small so it ignited my arthritis rather quickly. My husband who has much larger hands really enjoyed using it and felt that it was more ergonomic than the PS5 controllers but he did not like the color (baby blue). The battery life is also quite decent, it could probably go a few days without needing a charge. The sticks also felt sturdy and I think it will last a few years before developing any drift. If you have average-sized hands I would strongly suggest this purchase as it will last you a long time.

Excellent Switch controller

Excellent Switch controller. It paired up quickly and easily with my Switch. The buttons and joysticks all work very well and there's no stick drift. It feels good in the hand. The weight is nice. It doesn't feel cheap like some of the other budget friendly controllers I've tried. I definitely get more enjoyment. using this over the OEM joycons. Excellent value for the quality.

Gamerguy49

EXCELLENT 3rd party pro-controller for Switch 2.

Purchased this controller due to needing a new one since getting a switch 2. Looks and feels like the actual Nintendo pro-controller, half the price!! Do yourself and loved ones a favor and pick this up.

Solidly built but noisy Switch 2 controller

Solidly made controller that works well. The knobs are smooth and it has a good weight in the hand. Big complaint - every button, and I mean every button, clicks loudly when pressed. Like a mouse click. It’s super annoying. The button presses do give nice tactile feedback, and there’s a nice texture on the grip, but I could do without the noise.

DanKristen

Great controller. A bit smaller.

I needed something a tiny bit more portable for a specific pack. Somehow this came up to test. I have no actual complaints in anyway. It feels right. Connected immediately to iOS, Android, W11.

I have large hands so every controller is small. This doesn't feel bad at all. Played some NTE with it. I think the closest comparison is a Switch Pro controller if it was a tiny bit smaller. Battery charges fast, lasts all day too. Color is nice and is cleans well.

Best Value Nintendo Switch 2 Controller Hands Down!

I originally bought one EasySMX S10 Lite as a second controller for my wife, but after testing it out I immediately liked it better than my official Nintendo Pro Controller. The feel, responsiveness, and overall quality were so good that I ended up buying a second one for myself.

We’re both loving these controllers. The ergonomics are excellent for long gaming sessions, and the buttons have a satisfying clicky feel that’s surprisingly quiet — perfect for not disturbing the rest of the household at night. The features are fantastic too, especially the wake-up function that turns on the Switch 2 instantly with the home button. The joysticks are precise, the triggers feel great, and everything just works exactly as it should.

For the money, I genuinely feel the S10 Lite is a better upgrade than the official Pro Controller. You get more features, better ergonomics (in our opinion), and much quieter buttons at a significantly lower price.

The only downside I’ve found is that I can’t seem to find the optional magnetic faceplates for sale anywhere. I’d love to customize the look, but it’s a very minor complaint overall.

Highly recommended! These have become our go-to controllers. Excellent quality and outstanding value.

Great controller for Switch 2 or PC streaming setup

First and foremost, this controller is a great third-party controller for the Switch 2. It can wake your console from sleep and has dedicated chat and screencap buttons. I'm a bit shocked at how much they could cram into a controller at this price point. There's 9-axis motion control, hall effect sticks, custom magnetic faceplates, and back paddle buttons. On top of all of this, the switch 2 recognizes this as a switch pro controller, so customizability through the Switch 2 controller menu is as simple as it is with first party controllers.

I tend to keep my switch 2 docked all the time and set away from where I sit down to game. The wake from sleep is a HUGE feature to me that I don't have in my other third-party controllers. I no longer need to get up to press the power button or the home button on the Joy Cons. I can just wake it with this controller that's already on my desk.

The sticks themselves feel great too. They're nice and responsive and feel really "slick" due to that silicone ring in both stick boxes. I mainly use this controller wirelessly, but for being bluetooth, it has a really good response time. I've used this on the Switch 2 and with a PC streaming setup over Moonlight and I don't notice any lag at all in either scenario.

The buttons are nice and clicky and actuate quickly. The triggers are just buttons, so there wouldn't be any analog functionality (triggers are either "On" or "Off"). I wouldn't recommend it for racing games, but it has been really fun for shooters since the trigger actuation is very instant.

The battery life has been good so far. I haven't needed to charge it since I got it and have gamed for hours per day on it. Their battery life claim seems accurate.

The controller also has an amount of tunability to it. You can tune how sensitive the rumble (4 levels), calibrate the joysticks, set the turbo button and frequency, and program the back buttons without the need for the switch menu.

There is a ton of value in this controller AND it feels like a good controller. There aren't any compromises and I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the market for a third-party switch 2 controller that feels like first party.

Simple Switch controller

Controller has a layout that stays very close to the standard Switch Pro controller, so there was not much trouble adjusting, though some buttons are placed differently. Most stuff is where I expected it to be, making it easy to pick up and start playing. The ergonomics are comfortable, the buttons feel responsive.

The joysticks feel smooth and precise, and it's nice knowing they should be much less susceptible to drift over time compared to traditional analog sticks. The controller also includes a surprising number of extra features for the price, including back buttons, motion controls, turbo functions, and wake-up support.

Battery life has been solid. The controller feels sturdy and the textured grips are comfortable.

Overall, this feels like a good alternative to the official Switch controller. The familiar layout and feature set make it an easy recommendation.

Great Switch-Compatible Controller with Easy Pairing and Customizable Faceplate

I got this controller for my son to use with his Switch, and he has been very happy with it so far. The pairing process was quick and easy, which meant he was up and playing within minutes.

One of the first things he noticed was the appearance. He really likes the contrast between the black controller body and the yellow buttons, which gives it a fun, eye-catching look. The buttons have a nice clicky feel that provides good feedback while gaming, and he says the controller feels comfortable in his hands during longer play sessions.

A unique feature is the magnetic faceplate system. Small magnets built into the front of the controller allow decorative faceplates to be added and swapped out. However, a faceplate was not included with this controller. We were curious to see what faceplate options might be available, but we weren't able to find any at the time of this review.

The controller charges via USB-C, and a charging cable is included. We have only used it with a Switch so far and have not yet tested it with a laptop or other devices.

Another pleasant surprise was the shipping speed. It arrived the very next day, which was much faster than expected.

Overall, this has been a solid controller for Switch gaming. My son likes the feel, appearance, and responsiveness, and the magnetic faceplate feature adds the potential for fun touch of customization. The fast delivery was an added bonus. A great option for anyone looking for an alternative controller.

Entry level price, premium features

The value of controllers on the market these days is crazy.

For less than $35 at time of writing, this controller gets you HD rumble, hall effect sticks (so no drifts… ever), motion controls, a textured back for enhanced grip, turbo, assignable macro buttons on the back and clicky/tactile BAYX and shoulder buttons.

For those who have a switch 2, there’s also a C button for gamechat. This controller will also wake up a switch 1/2.

The trigger switches (ZL/ZR) are digital only, not analog. There’s a small amount of travel before the input is actuated but it’s still shorter than a switch pro controller.

It has a magnetic faceplate that is easily removable. At the time of this review’s writing, there’s no swappable faceplates that I can locate… nor are there any printable files that I’ve come across. A minor grievance - not one worth deducting a star over.

You can adjust both the intensity of the rumble - there’s 3 different intensities & then off altogether. This setting is stored on the controller itself & will remember when this controller powers down.

The speed of the turbo is also adjustable and can be set to continuously operate even without a button press. This setting does *not* save & will reset when the controller is powered off. I tested if a macro button can be set to turbo and can confirm that you *cannot* do this (e.g. face Y behaves normally but Y set to a back button turbo).

I can also confirm that macro buttons save when the controller is powered off.

The input lag is minimal and flicking the controller stick works as intended… which is something I can’t say for other 3rd party controllers when playing smash bros.

An overall great controller. If you want a more traditional gamepad for the switch or switch 2 but don’t want to spend $80 for a pro controller that will eventually develop stick drift (N has *not* said they used hall effect sensors in the sticks of their latest pro gamepad), this is a solid option.

I’m happy with this controller & would gladly recommend it to friends & family.

Many uses, feels sturdy and easy to use!

Very nice controller. It feels very well made and compact (perfect for my small hands), great quality. No rattles or defects. The thumb sticks are hall effect, so you wont have any stick drift. The other buttons are nice and clicky, even the triggers. Its super versatile. It can connect with a Switch 2 right away. I also has and X mode were it can connect with a PC either via bluetooth or wired (or practically any other device that supports controllers via bluetooth). I connected it to my Switch right away and also my PC via bluetooth. On Switch it even has a dedicated C chat button. On PC its detected as an Xbox wireless controller so it all works. I know bluetooth is not the fastest method of connection to a PC, thats why most manufacturers provide a proprietary 2.4Ghz dongle, however I did not notice any lag or issues playing on PC, I'm super happy I got it. It has a nice rumble vibration too. It even has a clear face plate that you can remove (uses magnets) and customize a nice design with a sticker on it. The buttons are responsive and clicky, the D pad is a little soft for my taste and not much travel, however I found out if you remove the faceplate it gives you more travel and a nicer feel on the D pad (not that its used much anyways). There is also a firmware update on their webpage, Ver 1.09 is the latest, so check it out (it will tell you what version you have before flashing), in my case, mine came already with it, so no need to do any firmware update. I liked a lot that I does not need any bloaty software to work, all is done within the controller, you can even save macros with its macro button for the buttons on the back, even turbo mode (great for me for fighting games). In all, very easy to use and great quality for the price, great value!

Multi-console controller - Comfortable - Features gyroscope, vibration, turbo, & Switch 2 wake

This is an overall solid controller and makes a fine choice for a budget option. Featuring gyroscope motion controls, vibrations, full switch 2 wake up and chat functions, USB C charging, turbo controls, Xinput or Switch mode switch, rear programmable grip buttons, and rubber ringed drift resistant joysticks. It really is the total package. The controller itself is a bit lightweight but feels quality considering the price and everything it comes with. It isn't uncomfortable to hold, but definitely is a ribbed plastic finish with little weight. Being fully featured I will say the intricacies are a bit lost on the switch specific controls like gyro motion and HD rumble does not feel as refined or nuanced as official switch controllers. It feels fine in most games, but in games like Splatoon where gyro aiming and subtle vibration changes are a major part of the game play, the intensity of even the soft vibrations and minor misalignment of the gyroscope controls is something that doesn't go unnoticed. It's something you can adapt to and is only noticeable when you're tuned into a OEM controller so most people won't notice this and at this price point, this EasySMX controller is actually better than others. The switch 2 wake up feature is also something that is very nice to have as a lot of third part controllers do not properly wake a Nintendo Switch 2. I also really enjoy the versatility of being able to use the controller with my Android phone or PC as well as the Switch 1 or 2. Makes this a 1 and done solution that actually feels and plays really well. The buttons and joysticks are all very responsive with the joysticks being hall effect for an anti-drift long lasting experience, while having rubber rings around the edges to prevent the plastic from wearing. It also makes the click/clack of the sticks quieter but the buttons and triggers are SUPER clicky. They feel quite tactile and mechanical so hopefully they too last a while, but they are quite loud and isn't a controller I would be using while people are sleeping. The buttons also have the ability to be use with the turbo key so that it toggles endless pressing, this is useful in some scenarios but only works for buttons, not the sticks.

Overall I think this is a very solid buy. I got the black and yellow color and it looks nice. Feels a little lightweight and plasticky but also has a quality to it that I trust it won't break immediately. It features switch 2 wake up functionality, HD rumble, and gyroscope that while it isn't quite as good as the OEM controllers, it is better than most aftermarket. With turbo functions that work on all buttons (not sticks) and a toggle between Nintendo Switch input and typical Xinput, so it works on many different devices. The buttons feel nice, are very tactile, and the Dpad works well but is a little mushy feeling. I think it makes for a great additional switch 2 controller, or even a PC controller at a budget price of under $35.

Solid choice for a budget friendly controller

My kids love gaming so they helped me with testing out this controller. The joysticks are super smooth. The buttons have a nice click to them. The controller feels a lot more high end than the price point would imply. It is comfortable to hold and plays well. My kids also like the removable clear faceplate. They added stickers underneath to customize the appearance of the controller. Overall this is a solid choice in terms of budget friendly controllers. We have purchased another controller from this brand and have been happy with how it's held up as well.

Lower cost alternative to the S10 with a couple issues

I have reviewed many EasySMX controllers and have really been impressed with their lineup, including the S10 which came with mechanical switches and is a great Switch/Switch 2 controller. When I saw the S10 Lite I knew I had to order it as well.

It comes in black with yellow buttons but you can also get it in light blue or pink. In the box is a user manual with many different languages and tiny print. Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be pdf file for the manual yet that you can download at the EasySMX website by scrolling to the bottom and clicking on Drivers & Manuals, nor is there one at their Discord like there is for the S10. In the EasySMX Discord it says the S10 Lite needs to be updated with the latest firmware in order to connect to the Switch 2 due to a Switch 2 System Update. You can download the latest driver software at the EasySMX website under Drivers & Manuals at the bottom of the page, but when I tried to update the controller it said I already had the latest 1.09 version. It also comes with your typical short USB-A to USB-C cable.

The EasySMX S10 Lite weighs 7.90 ounces compared to the 8.65 ounces of the EasySMX S10 or the 8.7 ounces of the Nintendo Pro Controller. The plastic grips on top are smooth and underneath have a slightly rough texture similar to the S10. It has 2 programmable buttons on the back in an easy to reach position just like the S10 and both have no texture and are smooth. Both can be programmed with only the controller. Unlike the S10, there are no RGB lights, but when connected, the EasySMX logo at the top center shows up in a bright blue color. It also has turbo and the ability to calibrate both the sticks and motion sensor calibration on the controller. It also includes 9-axis motion controls but no NFC. There is a switch on the back to switch between the Switch 1 and 2 (S) and PC/Mobile (X).

In a nutshell, compared to the S10, the S10 Lite has hall effect sticks instead of TMR, no NFC, no RGB lights outside of the EasySMX logo, one d-pad option (cross) that is membrane and not tactile compared to the tactile microswitches and two d-pad options on the S10, but better 9-axis motion controls compared to the 6-axis motion controls on the S10, but I could not get gyro to work in Mario Kart 8 on my Switch 1.

Vibration: 4 levels of vibration (25%, 50%, 75% and 100%) and off which can be changed on the controller using M + Left Stick up or down

Battery: 1000mAh - Slightly smaller battery than the 1200mAh on the S10, but longer 22 hours play time thanks to the lack of RGB lights with a recharge time of 3 hours.

Hall Effect Sticks: The tops of the sticks are flat, and have rough edges similar to the S10, and are responsive, but are the harder plastic you find on budget controllers. They also come up a bit high so adding thumb caps would make them even higher. In the online Gamepad Tester the sticks appear to have a square gate response with an average circularity error rate of about 15.5%.

D-pad: A cross membrane D-pad which works well, has a fairly short throw and is easy on the thumb, but there is no tactile feedback. I had no trouble reaching any of the diagonals. Sufficient for platformers and retro 2D games because the throw distance is short, but I would not recommend it for fighting games like Street Fighter II, and I was much more successful using the left stick instead.

Buttons: The mechanical face buttons on this controller feel great and are just as good as the ones on the S10. The shoulder buttons and triggers (digital only) have a very short travel distance, and are identical and just as good as the mechanical switch ones on the S10. If you prefer triggers that can be analog also or play a lot of racing games, you might be better off looking elsewhere. The back buttons are easy to reach and smooth, and exactly like the ones on the S10, clicky and a bit on the noisy side.

Function buttons: The -, +, Capture and Home buttons all work fine. It also has the the C (chat) button that is on the Nintendo Switch 2 controller, but since I don't have a Switch 2 I was unable to test it.

Switch Bluetooth: 160.10 Hz polling rate 6.25 ms avg latency 18.93 ms max latency jitter 2.27 ms

Similar numbers wired over USB with EasySMX S10 Lite having lower jitter and outliers over Bluetooth.

Press Home for 5 seconds to turn off the controller.

Press Home to wake controller from sleep and to wake the Switch 1 and 2

EasySMX S10 Lite connections tested and working:

Switch: USB (Wired), Bluetooth

PC: USB (Wired), Bluetooth

Android 14 Smartphone: USB (Wired), Bluetooth

Android 11 Tablet: USB (Wired), Bluetooth

FireTV Cube (Fire OS7 - Android 9): USB (Wired), Bluetooth

Brook PS2 Converter (PS2 Connection): (v1.2.7.7 BETA firmware) Bluetooth (X mode)

Brook XB2 Converter (Xbox 360 Connection): (v1.2.3.2 firmware) Bluetooth (X mode)

Pros: Wakes the Switch 1 and 2, high polling rate in XInput mode wired, great face buttons, shoulder buttons and triggers, many controller adjustments, works on anything including the Brook converters

Cons: Motion controls did not work for me in Mario Kart 8 on Switch 1, clicky and noisy back buttons

There's a lot to like about the EasySMX S10 Lite. Compared to the EasySMX S10, I would rather have the TMR sticks and its two tactile d-pad options. But if money is an issue, you still get the same excellent buttons on the Lite version. The short throw and responsive shoulder buttons and triggers on the EasySMX S10 Lite feel every bit as good as the shoulder buttons and triggers on the much more expensive BigBig Won Blitz 2 TMR.

I have never had a problem with a feature on an EasySMX controller not working before, but the 9-axis motion controls on my EasySMX S10 Lite just would not work for me on the Switch 1 in Mario Kart 8. EasySMX support was very fast to respond and very helpful and sent me many back and forth emails, and they went above and beyond, but ultimately were unable to help me solve the problem. Since it is a new controller it may just be a quality control issue .

Despite the higher jitter numbers in Bluetooth mode I didn't notice any difference in performance compared to the S10. I can’t quite go 5 stars, but it’s still a great performing controller for the price even if the gyro motion controls didn't work for me on the Switch 1. Just be sure to test everything within the 30 day return window in case you have a gyro issue like i did or some other problem so you can get a replacement.

I got this to play games on my tablet and don't have a switch so keep that in mind

First off, the build quality here is very good. The controller feels very sturdy. The buttons feel clicky, and there are swappable face plates. There's also back buttons which means you can even place competitive games like call of duty if you want to.

There's a little bit of texture on the hand grip too, so if you're getting a little bit sweaty that's okay. I had absolutely no problem connecting this to my Android tablet assigning the back buttons to what I wanted to, and getting into a game of Grand theft Auto. For the money they're asking for this. It's a great controller. The vibration's extremely strong and can be dialed between level 1 and level 4 to fit your preference. Overall, I'm super happy with this controller and would recommend it to anybody looking for an affordable way to play games on your tablet

CrossHanded

A cut rate worse version of an already bad controller; awful D-pad, decent mechanical buttons

This S10 Lite is a cut-rate version of the S10 which had more RGB lighting, better paddles, tact switch D-pad and came with an extra faceplate and stickers. That original S10 controller despite its extras was hindered by a rather terrible tact switch D-pad which could thankfully be salvaged by raising the pivot point with layers of duct tape or similar. This one has a membrane D-pad but instead of taking the chance to improve the stability, it ends up being far more wobbly than the S10's ever was. You get constant unwanted diagonals when trying to press cardinal directions. On top of that - the silicone membrane they used is of poor quality and nearly impossible to replace if it is dislodged during disassembly, and the D-pad PCB is soldered to the board making the fix even harder to do. I was able to get the membrane back onto the PCB with specialized tools and a lot of effort - but as this goes above and beyond and easy repair job I can't recommend doing it like I did for other controllers that could be fixed. EasySMX really dropped the ball, somehow making a newer design harder to maintain, but I guess it was all about keeping the cost down. In the end, the best thing about this controller is the mechanical buttons which still carry over from the original S10, and the analog sticks seem to work fine. With non-analog triggers, this isn't ideal for anything other than a Switch/Switch 2 and there's better choices for lower prices than the $34 asking price of this one, like my perpetual low-priced favorite YIONON GC-10D. If you like mechanical buttons, the EasySMX D10 has analog triggers and an AMAZING D-pad which is among the best I've seen on any controller so I don't really know what happened with the S10 series. Not recommended.

DMM

Soft sticks and instant triggers. Comes with clicky buttons

Big fan of controllers with a simple connection and simple design. The button layout is a typical gaming controller and the ergonomics of each button is place with good consideration for beginners. The tactile feedback of the buttons or a nice bonus too. Also helps that they use actual switches and not a rubber piece contacting the board. Little to no travel time between each button press.

The D pad is smooth and is concave not too deep in a way that will irritate your thumbs. It's made of a nice easy to touch plastic. Though it doesn't have any texture to it, so sweaty hands may have a slight difficulty having contact

also that comes with back pedals near the grips which are easy to program with simple button commands and following the instruction booklet.

The front cover of the controller also comes off to reveal the screws that you will need to dissemble the controller for daily maintenance. It also works as a small window to make a decal for the front since the surface of the controller is completely flat. The camera doesn't do the clear cover justice, but the cover is clear with a slight matte finish to it.

The one issue for certain people to be aware of is that these do not have analog or throttle triggers. They're all digital switches it cannot be changed. It also doesn't include a 2.4 gigahertz dongle, only the option to connect via Bluetooth

As for the compatibility of Bluetooth, me using a 6.0 dongle connecting it to Windows 10 gave me almost instant input, very little to no lag between the button request and input.

A great choice for a simple backup controller or a daily driver. well rounded across all grounds and greatly recommended

Mozart’s Star

A pretty capable and dependable backup or everyday controller.

One of those controllers that quietly punches above its price range. The Hall effect sticks are smooth, no stick drifting that I’ve observed, and overall a much better long-term feel than cheap analog sticks. The ergonomics are solid too, and the textured grips help a lot. The fast wake up function and multi platform support are great since I bounce between Switch, PC, and handheld constantly.

The rumble and motion controls aren’t premium like first party Nintendo hardware, but they’re perfectly good for casual and mid core gamer. Battery life has also been respectable so far. For the price, this is honestly a pretty capable backup or everyday controller.

I personally test all products, and my opinions are my own and uninfluenced. I hope this review helps with your purchase decision.

The perfect durable upgrade for family Switch sessions

Our family plays the Nintendo Switch together frequently, so we are always on the hunt for high-quality controllers that can actually stand up to regular use. I picked up this EasySMX S10 Lite specifically for my son, and it has already proven to be a fantastic addition to our collection. The tactile feedback is excellent, and the overall build quality feels solid enough to handle the excitement of a competitive family game night.

One of the best features for us is the inclusion of the Hall Effect joysticks. My son tends to be a bit rougher on the controls than the rest of us, and having that technology gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing we won’t be dealing with stick drift anytime soon. It’s a relief to have a controller that is built for durability while still maintaining a high level of responsiveness for more precise movements.

The functionality is also top-notch, especially with the one-key wake-up and the turbo modes. It paired effortlessly with our console, and the 9-axis motion control works great for some of our favorite motion-based games. The two back buttons are a nice touch for more advanced play, and the battery life has been impressive so far. If you have an active gamer in the house who is hard on their gear, I highly recommend this as a reliable and high-performance replacement.

Solid controller but really loud key presses. Sounds like Clicky Switches

Got this EasySMX Switch controller to play on my PC and my older switch (OLED version). The controller is sleek and has a matte face plate. All buttons are very tactile and have a noticeable “click.” There are two setting switches in the back to connect to the Switch/Switch 2, and another setting marked “X” to connect with a PC/laptop. We have a road trip coming up and were planning to use this one in our Tesla so our kids can play games while we wait for the car to charge, as some stops can take about 30 to 40 minutes.

The company states the battery is about 1000mAh, which is larger than my other EasySMX controllers that only have 800 to 850mAh. I’ve been playing Super Mario and other Switch games for 30 minutes to an hour every other day and haven’t really noticed a drastic drop in battery life. It also works great on PC games like Forza Motorsport.

The package comes with a typical USB-A to USB-C cable and an instruction manual. I haven’t tried the dedicated chat feature button, but those who use it will probably appreciate the option to game and talk with just a touch of a button. It’s the middle button on the bottom of the controller. The back two buttons are also programmable via specific game settings.

For the con: The one, and maybe only thing, I dislike about this controller is how loud each key press is. I can handle some noise, but it is loud. The video I uploaded shows a comparison between another EasySMX controller and this S10 Lite, and it does not have any silent keys or buttons at all. Keep that in mind if you like to game at night or prefer a softer, more muted feel/sound. But for the price, the solid feature set, and a fairly large battery compared to its competitors, I think it’s a solid controller.

Perfect replacement

This is the best 3rd party controller with back buttons. The back buttons are in a perfect place making it extremely easy to operate. Maping the back buttons are super easy, you can map at least one macro to each back button. I love the clear and frosted matte design it makes holding the controller so much easier than the glossy finish that they have in the previous model. The rgb lights are just for show and I don't use them considering that's it drains better life. Battery life is 2 times better then the original controller, lasting me at least a few extra hours. The controller is a bit bigger then the original making it good for people with big hands. I would recommend great value for money.

Great controller for casual gaming and more

This is a great controller. It was very easy to connect to my PC, Rog Ally, and my Switch. It has a switch on the back with a button to connect the controller to your devices and it comes with instructions on how to do so. There are two buttons on the back. They work great but I personally do not prefer to use them. The buttons are mouse click buttons which I love. It makes the controller feel more accurate when gaming. I have not had any issues with drift, which I shouldn’t since it has Hall effect joy sticks. The joysticks do feel just as nice as it states. I am not a competitive gamer, but my husband tried it while playing call of duty and said it worked great. I use it for more casual gaming like Roblox and Minecraft. Unfortunately, I play Fortnite with mouse and keyboard. I love that it has a dedicated chat button, as sometimes I feel like I am running out of buttons to use for it or I hate having to reach to my keyboard just for press to talk. It is not too lightweight and is great to play with. It has a magnetic faceplate that you can customize however, I will likely leave it as is. For the price, I think this is a great controller. It has a lot of great features at this price range. I recommend.

Finally a ZERO no-drift controller with fantastic tactile response micro switches. A++ performance

Hall Effect joysticks have shown a new light in terms of game controller advancements. I am completely shocked at just how well these work for gaming responsiveness. The Zero no-drift design is such a welcome change for game play. This controller also powers up instantly with no lag. This controller also has rumble, which was not expecting for this price. The connectivity options worked great going my Samsung Android phones to an iPhone to a PC, where is was immediately detected and recognized as an X-Box controller attached. There are so many good features about this EasySMS S10 Lite controller. The user manual was well thought out and even included a quick start guide to getting to gaming almost immediately out of the box. The controller was also changed when I received it. Included a USB-C cable with a USB-A connection to easily plug into my computer.

Buttons:

This controller has the typica XYAB layout with two joysticks, but the joystick have advanced hall-effect switches so there is no drift or constant re-calibration needed. The quality of the switches feels like a premium mechanical keyboard. The side grips have a nice texture for a secure palm grip. Every switch has an incredible mico-switch feel with the actuation. Love the inclusion of the two backside switches. The backside buttons are fully programable. Even has a turbo switch for faster looped actions.

Only Negative I’ve found:

The triggers do not support pressure sensitivity, so for racing games this needs to be taking into consideration if this controller is right for you.

Firing up my go to Retro Gaming emulators like Batocera or RetroArch this controller performed exceptionally well with fast response times and high accuracy. The Rumble is even more pronounced than my DualShock controllers with the intensiveness of the rumble, even has multi-level adjustments down to 0% to a full 100% vibration. Connecting to my Android phones was simple with the Bluetooth connection. The fact that this controller has a 9-Axis motion control is wild for this price. Have not has single issue with all day gaming session from the 1000mAh battery.

Pretty darn good.

This controller works very well on a fire tv stick. Modes are available for both Bluetooth compatible devices and the primary function for switch. Unfortunately I don't have a switch but this sings beautifully on the fire tv. I played several hours on Luna(Control) without a single hiccup. The overall joysticks are good and the clicks from the buttons are nice. I would only deduct a half star because the triggers are not pressure sensitive but are instead clicking buttons which is unfortunate for racing games. Otherwise I highly recommend this controller for its overall quality, hand feel compatibility and battery life which goes several hours without needing recharge.

Dad's Lucky Pink Controller

I got the pink version of this controller for my daughter, as it's always nice to have plenty of controllers for multiplayer games especially with multiple Switch systems in the house. This controller pairs easily with the Switch 2 by plugging it in. The controller didn't come charged, but it appears to be holding a charge quite well and I've got several hours of continuous play so far.

You can tell a third party Switch 2 controller is high quality if it can wake the sleeping Switch 2 system, which this one does with a press of the home button. I have other 3rd party controllers that are not able to perform this basic, though arguably non-essential task. The placement of the Home button is not in the standard place either, but this doesn't take anything away from it's overall score or usability.

In terms of comfort, this controller is quite ergonomic and has a nice tactile feel with the textured surface on the underside. I joke that this is my lucky controller because the first time I used it I had a pretty remarkable and unstoppable run in Hades 2, a game where I had been struggling previously.

This is a solid controller and it has nice color options which make it easy to know who gets which when setting up a multiplayer game: overall a good addition to anyone looking to add game controllers to their home.

This one hits all the marks for me! A+++

Adorable. Absolutely love the color. Love the idea that I can get a magnetic face for it. It has rumble functionality and that’s really nice, since a lot of them don’t have rumble. The joysticks are really smooth and reactive. It has a textured grip that feels really nice as well. It’s also lightweight and comfortable. The buttons are definitely clicky-tactile as stated, so if you’re a more serious gamer who doesn’t want to have to press longer and harder you’d be better off with the Switch proprietary pro controller or another multiplatform controller with less tactile buttons. But if that’s something that you wouldn’t notice or care about, this controller is perfect. Absolutely no lag or glitching so far. I really love it. Hits all the marks for me, AND it's an excellent value for the money!
