Property security with no internet

Works great and have no issues so far. The audio in playback could be louder as it's very quiet. I put a 3 month EIOTCLUB Prepaid SIM Card in. Video quality is good with night vision (but I also have motion solar lights that also helps) and app is easy to install and work. In the settings is say's the highest recording setting is 20 seconds which I wanted like 1-3 minutes, but found out it does record longer when movement is still detected after triggering. I have it set on Medium detection and it took a little bit before it detected a dog (see video). Love I can set multiple time slots to record as I am building a house and only want certain times to record. Wish they offered black to match my trim and I found a black extension USB-C black cable so I can move/ hide the solar panel

Excellent quality video

I have 4 if these. The quality of the photos and videos is excellent. I have these cameras 5 hours away in a remote area. I check them at least once a day. We are always thrilled to see wildlife and never know whether we will see them or not. Our property has quite a view so we are able to capture the many visitors that stop by when we are not there. I am able to save the video of all the visits. You can't beat these for the price.

Great camera. Great customer service

I have been using camera in a remote area of south Texas about 11 months. Extremely satisfied with video quality . I use it to monitor wildlife activity. Very user friendly. Does not require a strong cell signal to function properly. I have since purchased 3 additional cameras. A few weeks ago started having problems with original camera which I purchased September of 24. Contacted customer service. Quick response from Deer. Refunded subscription fee and sent a replacement camera at no charge. Would highly recommend trying these cameras over any trail camera on the market. I’ve tried several brands over the years, nothing compares to live video with a camera that can be controlled to pan left or right remotely.

Love my camera! Provides clear views, easy to reload service, options for cloud storage. Has great viewing range from left to right (up/ down) and solar powered! Have already purchased 3 cameras! Highly recommend! Get to watch the wildlife!

They have the best customer service!

I ordered 7 cameras and I'm very pleased with the picture/video quality. I live were we don't have very good cell or wifi connection. These cameras work good. Ihave added a daytime and evening photos. I did need a little help getting them set up with the best cellular plan at first. I have to also mention the outstanding customer service they provide, the best I have received in a long time. They are prompt and will help you till any issue is solved. I had the pleasure of working with Deer today regarding an issue. We trouble shot the issue and fixed the problem. Deer then messaged me later in the day to confirm everything was still working properly. If you are looking for security cameras and great service. This is the company to purchase from!

I would definitely purchase this camera again

We purchased two cameras for our property. I had a problem with the second camera and wasn’t able to troubleshoot it easily- but customer service is wonderful and not only did they send a new SIM card within 2 days, they are sending a new camera to replace the one I’m having issues with. I’ll update my review once I have the camera. But as of right now, the representative Deer has been awesome & I feel like we won’t have any issues.

Works

Works as it should and was easy to set up. Purchased my first camera for my boat 5/24. June 2024 I added a 2nd camera to my boat. July I updated the data which was still reasonable. I decided to order a 3rd LTE camera for my home to monitor our horses. I was surprised that the data packages have increased alot. It seems that the camera is the same style/looks but now can detect humans, where the year old cameras can only detect motion.

I have been very happy with the original cameras and data plans. Not happy with the new data plans.

Amazing customer service! Camera helped catch family of bandits!

We purchased this to put on out boat the we keep on the trailer in a marina boatyard. We love being able to check in and make sure all is ok. We have even captured a family of raccoons at night wreaking havoc on one of our seat cushions!

We purchased this back in November 2023. It is March 2, 2024. So far, we have noticed an issue with the record sensitivity. At night, it does great and only alerts when there is actually movement. During the day, we have been getting a lot of false alarms which can really eat up your data. I know that shadows can set it off, so I set a specific alarm area to try to avoid that. However, even in an area where there is no shadow or movement, we are still getting false alarms. Photo attached to review.. I double checked the alarm videos and no movement whatsoever. This has really gotten annoying lately and seems like my only option is to turn off the motion detection. That defeats the purpose of trying to make sure nobody messes with our boat, especially our ladder that we leave at the back. We have had issues with others in the yard borrowing it and not have the common curtousy to put it back. It gives peace of mind to be able to check in whenever we want.

Updated Review 8/15/24:

The company saw my review and reached put to me. They offered to either give me a refund or send me an Updated camera that should do better with the sensitivity issue. I opted to have them send me the updated camera as we really rely on the camera to keep an eye on our boat. I really am blown away by their customer service! So far, the only bandits we have caught on it are furry ones. Loll! We were shocked to see a whole family of raccoons romping around on our boat! The camera is invaluable! Kudos to this seller. Highly recommend.

Great camera and east to set up

Camera been working great. I have 2 set up at my fishing camp for security. Had trouble with one camera when it started to show foggy pictures. There costomer service was great help and responded Quickly. They help me trouble shoot to try to fix it but nothing worked so they will be sending me a new camera to replace it at no charge. After I get the camera they want me to keep in touch with them on how everything is working. I would recommend this company if you looking for a cellular camera.

Great Product - Great Price

Camera has been installed outdoor for about 9 months with no weather issues. Security light will get someone's attention. Speaker is good at 20' away. Pan, tilt and zoom functions are excellent. I have only used about 300MB of data since installing it. It is a cellular connection so don't expect instant access especially if you are very remote like I am. Easy to set up. App works well.

Good purchase!

I got this camera to watch my mares that were due to have their foals. I was able to have it in a location where I could see each mare in their separate corrals. It worked great, I could check on them during the day, and at night, I could see a pretty far way with it and I loved how far it rotated lateraly and vertically. It was easy to set up the data package and even on our super rural, slow cell tower it worked excellent. It always stayed charged, even after a few cloudy days, it seemed to hold its battery well! I even checked it once while my husband was feeding and was able to use the microphone option to ask him to feed one of my girls extra hay that night!

Great camera and customer service!

I have been using this camera for a while now to keep an eye on my goats that are having babies. This camera has worked great cause I do not have Wi-Fi to the barn.

I started to have an issue with my camera. I messaged with costumer service and they were great to work with. They helped me make trouble shoot the camera. When that did work they replaced my camera! So I sent my camera back and sent them the tracking and I received my new camera with in a few days.

I have recommended this camera to friends and will continue cause of how easy it was to work with them.

The picture is good but It’s not 360° view.

Update: it has not one week. One camera has stopped working. We are 5 hours from our new house construction site. We got one family member went to there reboot, it only work several hours. The app setting also not working while camera is buffering. Why?

I bought these 2 cameras for the construction site of our new house. I need 360° view cameras from a 90-degree angle of the house rooftop corner position to monitor both sides of house. But one of the camera can only pan 200°, the other can pan little bit more angles. It can only pan 220°. Neither these 2 cameras can’t pan 360°.

The picture is ok But the 4g signal they provide is not good. There were images at the beginning of the installation. When we back to our daughter's house and clicked on one of the cameras to check, it kept buffering and the images didn't come out for an hour. We had to drive 20 minutes there to check the camera. We got there and rebooted the camera, it worked again. It's obviously the camera was crashed. We live in California and our new house is in another state. I am worried that when we back to our home in California and the camera will stop working again and we can’t go there right away to reboot the camera. Now we back to California. Sometimes I check the camera, it buffering for long time. We have paid for 6 months data, It should not be insufficient data.

4G LTE Cellular Pan?Tilt Camera - By Lyfee Store

This 4G LTE Pan/Tilt Camera works great to monitoring our Cabin in the San Bernardino Mountain, even without wifi. It powered with solar and so it monitor even occational power outages. Great self contained security camera. Also their their Customer Service is great, I recently had a problem with the camera, w/c I returned and they immediately sent the replacement camera. Outstanding Customer Service.

They are making it right see update

First month was great. Second month was charged for the sim card. I messaged customer service and was told no charge was taken from my account. Waited 2 weeks in hopes they'd figure it out. Ended up paying another $15 for 4g data as I use my camera for my business. Waiting on a response now as to why after spending $30 my camera is still not picking up. Save yourself the trouble and go with a different brand. I bought 2 of these, gifted on and kept the other. One worked one doesnt as explained above. Cant make out faces even in high definition

Best 4g lte off the grid security camera for less then $100!

When I first got this, I was a little skeptical because of how cheap it was, but I said hey, let me just give it a shot, glad I did everything work perfectly from the moment I connected it it comes with a Sim card and a memory card to make everything effortless, even the solar panel came almost fully charged. I have a remote property two hours away from me in Florida and I’d like to check up on it since it’s a campsite to make sure nobody is going there without permission. It works great day and night time has a very strong flashlights and a alarm that goes off and the texting everything. I’m always getting detection notice in my phone and it’s usually a squirrel walking around just to show you how my well it detects. Apple works perfectly fine on my iPhone. I honestly don’t have any complaints about this yet and having it for about a month now.

Pleasantly Surprised

We bought this camera to use on a piece of property with no electric or WiFi. Even cell service can be pretty limited. Setup was very easy. Installation was very easy. I’ve had no issues with the app or connectivity. Even in the area with low cellular service, the video quality is great. The app could be better with function and ease of use, but it definitely does the job!

Update: We have now purchased 3 of these cameras and are very happy with them. Even with low cell signal at their location, we can have peace of mind knowing our property is safe.

*Update* Not Impressed

Given the low price of this camera, I honestly wasn't expecting much. I've only been using the camera for 24 hrs, and I'm actually quite impressed. Activation and set-up was simple. The video quality, both day and night, is much better than expected (better than my Arlo Essential wifi cameras). Motion detection seems to function as expected, and I receive a notification on my phone almost immediately. Video can be stored on the included microSD card as well cloud storage (free trial included). The solar panel seems to keep the battery charged. The battery level dropped from 100% down to 95% overnight. It was back to 100% shortly after sunrise. Overall, I'd say that this camera is well worth the price. I can't speak the durability or longevity of the camera since I've only used it for 24 hrs. I will provide an update once I've had more time to evaluate those aspects of the camera.

*Update 9/12/23* Now that I've had more time to use the camera I'm not impressed. Motion detection is pretty much worthless when it comes to detecting people. It regularly fails to detect a person walking within a few feet of the camera, anything further than that, and it won't detect them at all. On the rare occasions that it successfully detects a person the video is so pixelated that there's no way to tell who it is. If you're looking for a camera to help secure your property I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Security in my off grid Cabin

Finally I have reliable, live streaming, motion activated, security camera at my off grid Cabin in Tennessee. I live in Miami, Florida and was concerned about someone trying to break into my property. I bought three of these cameras and I couldn't be any happier with the quality of pictures taken by it, or the ability to live view my property. Very easy to set up and activate.I I totally recommend it!

Solar panel doesn't charge the camera more than 2-3% - battery drains quick

We are building a house on a lot that doesn't have electric or wifi capabilities yet.

At first glance, this camera is awesome and exactly what I needed. It has solar charging and can be used without the internet via $14.99/month fee.

SOLAR PANEL DOESN'T CHARGE CAMERA:

In reality, the solar panel is in full sun at least 6 hours a day and it only charges the camera maybe 2-3% during that time. And the battery drains SO fast. So even as I am typing this during broad daylight while the camera/solar panel is in direct sunlight, I cannot view the camera because it is dead.

I have turned off all notifications, motion detection, alarm, etc. to preserve battery life. I also don't view the camera often (maybe 3x per day for 5 seconds).

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE:

I have contacted support for troubleshooting. They are quick to respond, but haven't been helpful. They had me recharge the camera via the USB cable to 100% (which meant dragging a ladder back to the house, climbing up the tree, unscrewing it, bringing it back home, waiting for it to charge - which takes a LONG time, and then taking it back and doing the whole thing over again.) It still didn't fix the issue.

Their solution was to offer me a 30% refund and to use the USB cable for charging (which isn't a solution for me).

SUPER SENSITIVE MOTION DETECTION, EVEN ON LOWEST SETTING:

The motion detection has 3 settings (High, Med, Low). I moved it to Low because every time a leaf on a tree blew slightly in the light breeze, it would notify me. It didn't change anything. I ended up having to remove all motion detection, which defeats the purpose of having the camera to be alerted of activity on the lot.

ROTATION/MOVEMENT LAGS:

The lagging when moving the camera around is really bad.

PROS:

* Picture quality was good.

* Has an alarm on the actual camera that emits a police siren when motion is detected.

It worked in Mexico !!!

I have agave in Mexico and this camara let’s me see in real time and triggers when people are moving. I put a Telcel card and worked like a champ. I pay 100 pesos a month for the 3 gig card I love the camara

Cost effective remote monitoring

I've been using this camera now for a month to remotely monitor a property from 200 miles away. The camera has good detection of objects as shown in the included video. Sound is good and the app to control the camera is responsive when you need to pan/tilt the camera to follow objects. You can talk thru the camera to people and the light at night is bright. The camera will allow you to disguise your voice if you so desire. The solar panel is doing a great job keeping the camera fully charged and I haven't seen the battery drop below 100%, even with only a few hours of direct sunlight per day. I spray painted the camera camouflage to better blend in. It's up on a tree about 10 feet and most people don't even know it's there. I am currently using 3 of these along with a game camera to monitor the property. You do need to have a separate data plan for each camera, but I think the plans are pretty reasonable.

If you're expecting to be able to read license plates from a distance of 10-12 feet you'll be disappointed. The zoom only makes it grainier. The best application is for general identification of vehicles/people where they shouldn't be. Alerts are very quickly and the UBox app works well. Recording to the cloud is great and when you download a video it saves onto your device for storage elsewhere. Night vision is good and you can change to a night mode vs normal. Night mode is all black and white, just remember to change it back to normal mode when the sun is up otherwise your images will still be black and white. The infrared light will wash out the images if you have an object like a tree or branch in the frame, or in my case the racoon that climbs up the tree every night just before sunrise. You can adjust the movement speed of the camera with ease for precise adjustments.

One drawback that has shown up now that the trees are fully leafed out is that the shadows on the ground will trick the camera to think movement exists. Pretty annoying on a super windy day, but you can remotely turn the motion detection off. The other options for motion detection is "High, Medium or Low". I usually run it on the Low setting and it captures every vehicle that drives onto the property.

Overall for the price with the current $40 off coupon and 45% off list price, it's a screaming deal. If you are expecting a super highly detailed image this camera isn't for you. If you want something to use as means of notification so you can alert Law Enforcement about people on your property this will fit the bill. I now own 3 and with them strategically placed on the property at varying heights I feel I have a good handle on remotely monitoring my property.

The tech on this camera is really good

We installed this camera in the parking lot of Mt. Aire (between Salt Lake City and Park City). The goal is to keep an eye on our equipment. I've owned a lot of security cameras and this camera is as easy as installing a ring doorbell. The solar charger is easy, the 4g sim card activation is easy, and the UBox app is easy. For the $14 per month for 3GB of data, that is plenty to capture any motion or wind blowing that comes to the cloud storage. I also like that this product doesn't feel overly Chineese to me. The instructions are thoughtfully written and everything was very intuitive.

installation was easy with the enclosed sticker templates that marked where to drill. The app and setup was simple and was up and running quick. You get a free week of service and then can recharge the data using the app.

Perfect security camera no wifi needed

Charged up fast, hooked up quickly! Left for a week away and this morning I checked my garden and backyard and I am a very happy customer! I am a first time cellular camera user I usually use wife enabled but will definitely be using more in the future.
