Computer Speaker

Superb quality and sound! The speakers have a good weight to them. They were also easy to set up, practically plug and play. And the lights are a bonus! So happy with this purchase!! May also order the black one for my company laptop 🥰

So these arrived thrown in a plastic bag with a label "Ok to ship." There was no power cord, no box, no manual, no nothing but 2 speakers twisted in wires & banging against each other. At first I thought, ok, this is Edifier & they're a reputable enough company to not send this on purpose - so just a mistake. But when I checked the seller, edifier-gaming store, I realized I was wrong. Either way, there's no way anyone should have allowed this to be shipped as "new." After going thru the hassle of driving 45 mins. to a Fedex location to return them, I was finally refunded. I then ordered the same speakers thru Edifier's official website & they arrived properly packaged in original box & new condition. As far as liking them goes, they're ok & good size for desktop computer speakers but I wish there were better equalizer options, especially for mid-range.

Los parlantes me gustaron, se puede decir que cumplen pero hay detalles que sinceramente no me gustaron. Suena bien, eso es innegable. La curva de sonido (como es de esperarse en este tipo de parlantes "gamer") los graves bastante exagerados pero nada que no puedas ajustar ecualizando. Los compré por lo pequeños que son y cumplen ese propósito. Con respecto a las conexiones, es la primera vez que uso un sistema de parlantes donde el principal esté al lado derecho jaja, por lo que tuve hacer todo un reacomodo de cables (por que me gusta que se vea estético por debajo). Solo lo estuve probando por cable auxiliar Jack 3.5mm, por que tengo una tarjeta de sonido Sound Blaster, y quiero sacarle el mejor provecho. Si los recomiendo? Si no eres muy crítico, en realidad sí. Está mas orientado a juegos y musica casual. Detesto el sonido que hace al encender de verdad, no sé a quien se le ocurrió esa idea terrible.

Perfect!

Love these speakers, I did splurge on these and have no regrets!!

Fantastic Sound in a Small Package

Wanted something that was low profile enough to fit under my monitor but not sound like garbage. I don't think you could do better than this without spending quite a bit more! Great bass and LOUD, and also has great clarity. Sounds fantastic overall, both in games and music.

My only negative about it, is the system "voice" when you're changing modes and turning on/off can be way too loud -- so I make sure to turn down the volume first before making adjustments.

You will love the sound!

Great speakers for the price.

For the price these speakers look and sound great! They are able to get pretty loud, much louder than I would need if they were for a desk setup. I really like how the LED shines from the back giving a cool glowing effect. They function well and are easy to setup and switch between the different modes like Aux in, Bluetooth, USB right from the speakers themselves.

Would buy again.

It's very much worth the price; very loud and clear audio. They are heavy compared to my previous speakers, but definitely worth it.

Cute Design, Average Sound Quality

These speakers are honestly super cute, especially in pink. They look great on my desk and add a fun pop of color to the setup. In terms of looks, I really love them. Sound-wise, they’re decent for casual use like watching videos or listening to background music, but the quality isn’t as sharp as I was hoping for. The audio comes out a little dull, not as crisp or clear as some other speakers I’ve tried. If you’re mostly after the aesthetics and something lightweight for everyday use, they’re a nice pick. But if sound quality is your top priority, you might find them a bit underwhelming.

My Desk is Now an F1 Grid

I bought these speakers because I was tired of my old ones, which sounded like a couple of hamsters whispering into a tin can. What I got instead was a full-blown automotive sound system in miniature form.

The first time I turned them on, a deafening engine rev ripped through my apartment. I instinctively looked for a seatbelt and a helmet, half-expecting my desk to launch into the stratosphere.

My cat, bless her little cotton socks, shot under the couch and has been giving me suspicious glares ever since.

For such tiny things, these speakers pack a serious punch. The bass is so surprisingly good, I now have to warn my downstairs neighbors when I'm watching an action movie. They've also helped me realize my Spotify playlist is now a '50s-style drag race soundtrack, and I'm not even mad.

The RGB lights are a nice touch, a gentle reminder that this isn't just a speaker—it's a high-performance audio engine disguised as a PC peripheral. If you're looking for awesome sound and a daily dose of adrenaline on startup, these are for you. Just maybe put your pets in another room first.

Weird Noise?

My speaker keeps making this noise when I first turn it on, and the sound kinda goes in and out... I'm not sure if that's normal or not. It's only this one speaker, so I am assuming this is a defect. I think I may need to exchange....I think the speakers are cute for my setup, but I can't deal with that

I returned the speakers and ordered a new set. I've had the new speakers for about a week and a half now and haven't had any issues! Overall, I still like the speakers and think they're cute. I think I just got a faulty set the first time around. I would still recommend

Tiny size with incredible sounds

Edifier G2000 speakers offer great value in this price range. Astethetics multi ways to use in, aux in, Bluetooth, and u can attach a subwoofer. The buttons and build of this device feel premium. The volume control has great feedback, and control settings give audible feedback for what mode you are on, or volume 0 or 100. The sound quality for game is amazing and crispy.

Compact and loud

This is the first gaming speakers and absolutely did not disappoint, the sound quality is great and don't let the size fool you they're pretty loud and the base is decent this is a great bang for the money, it has different inputs wireless or wired, nice speakers

Overall good affordable speakers!

These speakers are overall very nice. Makes a cool spaceship sound when you turn them on. Cause selected a few different colors or pulsing. Can change to Bluetooth, game mode or a few other modes. My only complaint I have is the base isn’t anything too impressive. Just wish it had a little more to it. My google home has more base. However it does have a port to add a base speaker too so I’ll be looking into getting one. Overall for the price and the features I’m keeping it. Plus it’s held up with no issues so far.

Clearly better sound quality than Creative

They have great volume for this price range and power requirements but if you’re looking to blast the walls down you’ll need more powerful speakers. It’s perfect for my set up. They get loud enough that I’m worried my neighbor in the same room directly upstairs (with 14 foot ceilings) will get upset but not loud enough for me to hear three rooms across the house. I live in an old house with plaster walls that absorbs sound really well though.

Sound quality is clearly better than creative. All the videos I watched made it seem like there wasn’t really much of a difference but the Edifiers have a much richer, more dynamic, more bass, louder, more natural sound than the creative speakers.

Great Quality Sound

Super impressed with these. I'm a basshead, so naturally looking for bass boosted options. These are extremely well rounded with nice bass. Can keep both speakers and headphones plugged into computer at all times due to the cycle button on the side of the speakers. Music sounds great. Games sound great. Youtube sounds great. Would highly recommend.

Really great choice for college students!!!!

Absolutely thrilled with this speaker! The sound quality of itself makes me fall in love for the moment especially the design also stands out on fashion. I would say on market it the best value you can get.you could even connects it bluetooth and set it up at where you will like it to be!!!!!

Overall it really stands out well based on what I see and what I hear.the cool starting sound and the great quality. Highly recommended !!!!!

Use Auxillary input for more EQ control...

Assuming your PC comes with audio driver software and the ability to adjust the sound via a EQ in the software, these speakers are on point!

The speakers sound good and better with EQ control. They are smaller speakers but can still give that punchy sound and can definitely hit the highs.

The only con I found so far is, if you decide to turn on the rgb lighting, it's one heck of a pain to turn it off. For example, i enjoy the first color upon starting it up, which is the baby blue seen in the provided picture. Now, i only use the rgb toward the evening, which is where the con comes in. You have to press and hold the button at least 12 times, to "scroll through" all the colors to turn the rgb off. And god help you, if you want a color several deep and accidentally pass it, you'll need to start the process all over. Every! Single! Time!

Suffice it to say, some times i just don't use the rgb cause it's a hassle. Besides that, the speakers are, white, small footprint, inexpensive for the features you get and well worth it imo.

If you are wondering if it connects to consoles yes. Connected to my PS5 and it works like a charm and it looks great for any desktop gaming setup.

Came with a dent..

My speaker came with a dent in the middle because the box had a puncture in that particular area that it was in… Other than that they seem to work fine… Just wish the company would have shipped it better than just putting it in a flexible shipping envelope… Especially with how much they cost and how easy they dent..

Very good bluetooth speaker

one of my friends bought this one and he recommended this one to me. I have become a happier person just one day using it. The sound is much better than the one I had in the past and it has multiple modes you can adjust. The sound can be very loud, I can clearly hear it from the second floor when I play it in a room downstairs. I am loving it!

Wow, I’m impressed…!

I’ll be honest, I didn’t have high expectations getting into these speakers. I just needed something low cost to hold me over until I get a more professional setup down the road, so much so that I even bough Used - Like New for the discount. I got a new PC and have been using my Astro A50 mainly for gaming.

Literally just got these speakers delivered minutes prior to the writing of this review. Setup took 5 minutes, controls are are intuitive and easy to figure out, and bluetooth paired to my phone quickly without issue. I must say, these little speakers pack a decent punch. The bass is a lot deeper than what I’d expect, the video really doesn’t do the speakers justice on capturing the how much bass comes through.

So far, I’m pretty damn impressed! Definitely a great value, even at full price!

Great little PC set-up speakers

I love these Edifier G2000 desktop speakers. They emit a nice sound for meetings, gaming, watching videos, and drawing out the kids. Hahaha! They are perfect for my room and look clean on my black and white themed desk. They have a cool led backlight on them, that I haven't figured out how to turn off yet, but honestly it doesn't bother me at all, that's why I haven't looked into it further. Honestly, there may not be a way to turn them off or change the color, and that's okay. Several different inputs to choose from as well.

Update 08/02/2023: After reading the manual. I realized that there is a way to adjust the lights. choices are teal, red green, pink, and then pulsing in those colors, and then slow rainbow (additional colors) and then off. You just "long press" (hold down) the mode button underneath the volume rocker.

Awesome speakers

Love the quality. They are heavy, feel like premium quality materials used, good looking especially with the RGB. Everything about these are better than the creative pebbles I replaced. These have better sound across the board. The volume rocker is fantastic, the rgb is subtle and blends well with additional lighting, the fact they have a sub out port is great for future upgrades, Edifier has completely won me over after this purchase. Top tier speakers. Only minor gripe I have is with the power up sound. It’s a car revving. I’d love to be able to have that turned off but for the second or two that it plays is hardly a major annoyance. Also love that they are powered straight from an outlet not just a USB which can be underpowered and cause issues. Overall great speakers and much better than Creative Pebble V3.

Best speakers in this price range.

These are the first pair of PC speakers I have bought in the last 10 years, so I did a ton of research to find the best out there before purchasing something. Out of all the speakers out there in this price range these seemed to be the overall best for my needs, and they have surely not let me down. I love the size and shape of them, they arent too big and not too small. The build quality is outstanding, they have heft and feel very durable and high quality, nothing on them feels cheap. They look very sleek and modern whilst not looking "gamer" which I like. I also love that you have the option to turn off RGB on them, however if you like RGB it is a nice touch and there is a very wide range of modes and colors you can set. For audio modes, you can set it to 3 in total:

Gaming mode, Music mode, and Movie mode. Each mode is self explanatory and they all work extremely good for each activity. Everything sounds very crisp and clear, especially while in gaming mode so if you like to play FPS games for example these would be good for that, in order to hear footsteps. The speakers have awesome bass while in music mode. Movie mode is great for a cinematic, immersive experience. Shipping was very fast and someone from Edifier even reached out to me to ask if everything went alright with my order and if I was enjoying the speakers and if I had any issues. Very kind hearted company with amazing products :) Very happy with my purchase.

Best for your buck

I really love the sound quality of these speakers. The Bluetooth feature is a plus if I have company over and don’t want to turn on my computer. The LEDs can be changed to many colors and has a fade feature where the colors fade in and out. Then there are different preset modes; music, movie, and games. These all have preset equalizer settings that are very well setup for those modes. I’m very much surprised by the quality and the sound for these.

The quality is top notch. Very well built and not light. These are hefty and you can tell they put some quality material in them. They aren’t light by any means. I have them setting on top my monitors, upon a monitor shelf. I had to tighten up the torsion bars on the monitor arms because of the added weight! Definitely and highly recommend!!!

Not worth

The sound quality is not good, and noise is prone to appear. Also there have a few scratches.
