Elmer's Infinity and Beyond Slime Kit Featuring Toy Story Characters

Elmer's Infinity and Beyond Slime Kit Featuring Toy Story Characters

I’m generally not a fan of slime because I find it to be a ridiculous, sticky mess that I always have to find and clean up all over the house. That being said, when I do buy slime, I buy the Elmer’s brand because I find it to be less sticky and stays together well. I have purchased a ton of these Elmers kits as well as different Elmers slimes. I have always had a great experience with the Elmer’s slimes, but these mixed kits never turned out very well. They are always a sticky goofy mess, we can never get the right consistency of slime. No matter how we try to follow the directions or slightly alter this or that ingredient, it’s just a mess. All of the thought of these, I think they look like a really fun birthday gift. But in our experience, they’re just a lot of frustration.

I would definitely recommend Elmer’s slimes premade, the sets, not a guaranteed good experience.

Great Product for kids and grandparents also

This product was very fun to do with my granddaughters ages 9 and 10. I didn’t know there are so many different kinds of slime. I’ve just ordered more. This product is good for us to sit down and actually bond with each other

Fun to use but missing an item

Fun to use but unfortunately we received two of the cherry limeade activators instead of the glow activator my daughter was looking forward to.

Fun, nostalgic slime kit that keeps kids entertained

I ordered the Toy Story Infinity and Beyond slime kit, and it’s been such a hit. It’s colorful, fun, and perfect for kids who love getting hands-on with sensory play.

The kit comes with everything needed to make slime, which makes it really easy to set up without having to buy extra supplies. The colors are bright and the themed pieces add a fun Toy Story touch that makes it feel more special than a standard slime kit.

It was also a great activity for keeping my child entertained for a good stretch of time. She loved mixing everything and playing with the finished slime afterward.

Overall, this is a really fun and engaging kit that’s perfect for kids who enjoy creative, messy play. It’s easy to use, entertaining, and a great themed activity.

Less Mess, Great Variety: 10-Piece Slime Kit with Unique Activators

This kit provides a wide variety of glue colors and activators, and the basic instructions are straightforward enough that our 12-year-old could mix the batches himself. This is a massive improvement over measuring and mixing homemade activator into plain white glue, and skipping the liquid food coloring makes the process far less messy. Each "batch" was probably a bit too large to try and fit into a sandwich bag, but fit into whipped topping containers easily.

Once you have stirred in enough activator, the mixture continues to thicken and stops sticking to the bowl and spoon. From there, adding just a bit more activator and hand-kneading turns it into that perfectly drippy, stretchy, gross slimy slime without leaving sticky residue on your hands. The glow-in-the-dark and color change performed exactly as advertised. Note that a standard flashlight does not trigger the color change effects, but a UV flashlight changes it almost instantly (sunlight would likely work if you don't have a UV light).

The only snag we hit was with the fluffy slime. The fluffy activator has a thick, toothpaste-like consistency, and the kit lacks specific instructions for it. We added too much too fast, which made the slime hard and prone to breaking instead of stretching. We managed to save the batch by kneading in some extra glue. It’s a good lesson to go slow and test the texture after a round of mixing/kneading before adding more.

Be aware that the kit doesn't include storage containers, so we used our own resealable quart bags and empty Cool Whip containers to keep the batches fresh. Despite the learning curve with the fluffy activator and the need to supply your own mixing and storage containers, the sheer variety, low mess, and independence makes this kit a good value. Our son had a blast with this and he even got mom to take a turn. This kit easily justifies a 5-star rating.

A fun, colorful slime kit. Possibly overpriced.

This is a fun, colorful DIY slime kit. I like that it's made by Elmer's. I feel better about buying name brand products, especially for kids, because I feel like they're safer. I'd say this is a high quality product. I got this set for my 7 year old nephew and he likes it. The individual glue bottles are a normal size, 5 or 6 ounces each. I appreciate the variety of materials available the play with. It's of course going to be messy and sticky, so I'd recommend laying out disposable plastic or parchment paper. You don't want to get this stuff on a table cloth.

The only downside of this kit is the price. $39.99 is extremely expensive in my opinion. An individual bottle of Elmer's glue is about $1. This kit includes 5 bottles of glue plus 5 small bottles of slime activator. Granted these glues are special (glitter, color changing, etc.), but I'd say a fair price for this is $20. Maybe the Toy Story branding adds a hefty price increase because a different variation of this same product ("Color Rush") is only $30 instead of $40. So this is a good slime kit that I'd recommend, but I definitely wouldn't pay extra for the Toy Story branding. As far as I can tell the only difference is the box, since there's nothing Toy Story specific about the glues/activators inside.

Elmer's Toy Story 10 piece slime making kit is loaded with fun! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This 10-piece Elmer's Toy Story 5 Infinity and Beyond slime kit arrived nicely packaged, making it the perfect gift idea or a great project for a rainy day with the grandkids.

Elmer's thought of everything when putting this kit together. There are 5 unique slime activators and 5 uniquely colorful glues. The various activators have different features that make them all interesting. My favorites are the green apple-scented and the glow-in-the-dark one. The glues are all colorful and compelling, my favorites being the yellow-to-red color-changing glue and the purple glitter glue. All of them are fantastic and easily mix with the activators to make a wide selection of slime colors and textures.

The glue bottles are all generously full-sized at 5 ounces, with the purple glitter glue being 6 ounces. The activators are various sizes and are adjusted for texture.

The box has one slime recipe on the back, but if you need more recipes, you can go to the Elmer's dot com website.

I find this kit to be quite impressive with all of the various colors and textures included. It's well worth the price given the generous amount of glue and activator. I definitely recommend this set.

Buzz lightyear approved slime kit

Disorders for the Elmer's infinity and beyond slime kit. My kiddos love slime so I thought I'd give this Elmer's infinity and beyond kids everything you need slime kit a chance. The slime includes several type of Elmer's glue including glow-in-the-dark, glitter, and a few other colors along with the slime solution. Definitely value for your money. Seeing these glue bottles can cost upwards of $8 to $10 at the store. It's very easy to use and the instructions are very clear. This is actually our second kit that we have ordered. The boxes compact and it includes everything you need to make some gooey slime for the kiddos. The texture has the classic slime feel and is not too messy which is great. The slime looks like slime which is great and comes in many colors, mixing and matching however you like. The slime is very durable and will last a few play cycles until it collects enough enough dust and dirt. This is the great gift for any kid who you want to get away from the screen and have a Hands-On experience.

Out of this world FUN slime kit!

My two daughters absolutely loved this slime kit and had the best time mixing and creating different combinations!! This Elmer’s Infinity and Beyond Slime Kit brings the Toy Story 5 spirit to every creation with a playful mix of pretty colors and textures. The slime kit includes five bottles of Elmer’s liquid glue (Green Opaque, Blue Transparent, Pink Metallic, Yellow-to-Red Color Changing, and Purple Glitter) and five bottles of Elmer’s Magical Liquid Slime Activator (Original, Fluffy, Green Apple Scented, Glow-in-the-Dark, Confetti). My daughters loved mixing and matching the different combinations for different levels of stickiness and stretchiness. It is safe, washable, and nontoxic, and lets the kids go on slime adventures alongside Buzz and the gang. There is a slime recipe on the packaging to kickstart your own slime-making adventure! The slime they created was pretty and vibrant and the texture was just right. I feel like the value is worth it for the price point because you can make many batches of quality slime (probably better than what you can buy in the store). Just a fair warning that this can get messy, but well worth all the fun!

Hours of educational fun for all ages -- 5 different glues & 5 different activators

My kids love this set, and I love how much fun they've been having while learning about science. There's so much included with 5 different activators and 5 different types of glue -- this has already provided hours of entertainment, plus a whole show they put together featuring various types of slime (the glow-in-the-dark slime show was my personal favorite).

Types of glue included are blue, green, purple glitter, pink metallic, and yellow/red color changing. Types of activator are standard, glow-in-the-dark, green apple scented, confetti, and fluffy. The colors all look great and are true to their descriptions, the activators work perfectly, and the resulting slime is vibrant and stretchy. The glow-in-the-dark was especially neat, and the only activator that the kids weren't as impressed with was the fluffy one -- though the instructions say shaving cream can be added to make it fluffier, so we might try that.

Overall, we were all really impressed with this kit, and I thought it was a great value. It was simple for my 11-year old to figure out, and she coordinated making the slime with my 9-year old and 5-year old. My youngest did need guidance, but she was also able to mostly make some slime on her own. We're not sure how the Toy Story theme fits in, and I don't see it as a highlight to the kit -- this one is a great set with or without the branding.

Fun. Would buy again. Just a few hiccups.

Makes fun slime. Has nearly no directions except for 1 suggested recipe on the box. I wish it came with other combination ideas. Pretty much nothing makes it “ocean” themed except for the premade slime that is blue, has a picture of a mermaid on it, and smells of a coconut/fruity drink. It also came with clear beads that don’t stay in the premade slime very well. The bottles of the activator say they each make 1 batch of slime. And 1 batch is 1 bottle of glue. But we over activated our first batch because they are definitely meant to make more than 1 glue bottles worth of slime per 1 bottle of activator. Each bottle of activator can easily handle 2-3 bottles of glue. The blue glue made the best slime so far (using butter activator). But the blue stains everything terribly. This is why I knocked a star off. It does wash off after many many hand washes. But I would be very worried if this got on anything that I wouldn’t be able to clean it off. Yes it’s slime, but slime cleans. I don’t think the dye will, however. The last negative remark is for the butter activator. It was very chunky and separated, even after shaking the bottle. Not sure if it’s supposed to be that way. It didn’t seem to affect the final slime. But it poured lots of clear activator before the creamy part from the tube. Making it feel like we had more activator and not enough of the “butter” for the first batch.

In the end, it was a great activity to do with the kids. They had so much fun and it made good slime.

Makes great slime!

My 10 year old daughter has been really into slime recently, so I decided to buy this for her birthday. It made a great gift! The only issue is that there isn’t very much texture variety. Other than that it is a great kit to make slime with. After you’ve made the slime it doesn’t always last for very long before it deactivates. It is also important that you use it in a place you don’t mind getting very messy. Because sometimes cleaning up slime can be a bit difficult. Overall, this is a great product and I recommend buying it for older kids.

The butter activator was complicated

Honestly this slime kit was pretty good except for the butter activator, it was clumpy/watery no matter how little we put in the glue the slime would not come together well,(gelatinous) mess

Tons of fun!

I bought this for my grandson (5yrs) and we've had so much fun with it! He has watched videos of other kids making slime so he was very excited to get this. You definitely have to follow the instructions by adding the slime activator slowly, otherwise you'll ruin the whole lot (we did this with our first try and had to throw it out). When done correctly, you can make so many different types and colors with this set, and the glow in the dark glue and activator work really well! There is very little mess or residue, and if you do make a mess before the activator starts working, it all washes out very easily. Highly recommend!

Cute slime

The slime smelled delicious! Worth the effort! My dog really wanted to eat it and was a bit sad when we gave her real fruit. Overall, I think this slime is amazing. Don’t eat it though.

Waste of money

I wish I could give this zero stars. There are very few directions and even following them the slim did not work out. Nothing mixed in properly. Total waste of money. My 4 year old was so disappointed ☹️

Best slime kit on the Market

This set was my child’s favorite Christmas gift this year. The set was pretty amazing and entertained her and a friend for 4 hours. They mixed lots of different slimes together and filled them with fun colorful, textured sparkles and shimmers. They made so many they didn’t have enough containers to store them all in and we had to break out the ziplocks! The slime mixed together and was stretchy and they played lots of different ways with it. It’s smelled really nice too and didn’t have a strong chemical smell. The consistency was great and it didn’t break apart or stick to their hands. However, take care for where you are mixing and spilling it on carpet. It defiantly stuck to the carpet. The dye came up with blotting and didn’t stain the carpet.

I love that this kit because it has so much to play with, was filled with lots of colors and things that glimmered. I recommend it for the quantity that you get and that it’s a wonderful value for the money. It’s functional and fun at the same time.

Hands Down the Best Slime Kit

My girls are slime connoisseurs and this is definitely the best quality slime kit we’ve ever had. They love the colors, and all the different colors and types of activators that come with this kit. I don’t love slime in the house, but Elmer’s seems to be the best quality and doesn’t leave much slimy residue.

Makes a Sticky Booger, So Naturally Your Kids Will Love It

The messier an activity, the more kids want it. Makes for some good slime, though. Doesn’t come with instructions, which is my only complaint - just not enough of a complaint to mark it down to 4 stars. Smells good, we had a blast making it together!

Styrofoam & glitter - what are they thinking?!?!

Not only does this not make great slime but the “crunchy” is just a thousand tiny styrofoam balls that slime off onto your hands that then takes at least 5 mins to pick off into the trash. I can’t wash my hands because, well, styrofoam!! And that was just the making of it. They continue coming off while playing with it. Then there’s the bottle of glitter glue. I know kids love the sparkles but the planet, especially our water, does not. What the hell is Elmer’s thinking??? Booooooooo!! I 100% would not recommend this. Stick to making your own…

The slime melted

I’m still in the middle of making the slimes but the two I’ve made so far have melted, gotten very sticky, and haven’t had the right consistency. I liked how there was variety in what you could make, but overall not a great experience.

Fun Gift for 7yo Birthday

Update: My niece loved these. She's made three of the slimes so far. She loves that she gets to choose how to mix and match the glue with the activators. They did throw one away because of the smell. All in all, a big hit.

I bought this for my nieces 7th Birthday in November. Since her birthday is past any return dates I opened the box. All contents are there and sealed properly.

My main problem is with the box. It looks as if someone dropped it. And being this is a gift I would have liked the box to be in a better condition. But this is just an annoyance really.

I'll update after my niece opens and makes some slime!

Old stock probably

This is the slime using the butter slime activator. The butter slime activator has white solids inside must be a very old stock. Didn’t work with the glue :(

Slime-tastic!!

Coming from a parent/teacher who hates slime, I had a ton of fun making this slime with my kids! Easy to do and easy clean up. We even had enough activator left over so we were able to make a 6th slime with a bottle of glue we had!

A review you should read!

The butter and fluffy activators had a horrible chemical smell and chemically textures. Scented pre-made slime smelt weird, and almost like fruity puke? Scented activator however smelt amazing but overwhelmingly strong. All slimes came out amazing, but I would think twice if you have any pets that are sensitive to smells or if you have allergies or something like that. Just like all other Elmer’s slimes it is very stretchy at first and gets very rubbery the next day or so which I don’t like. I’ve put below the pros and cons so you don’t have to waste any more time reading this paragraph.

Pros:

-Fun to make

-Fluffy and butter slimes were nice and thick.

-Scented activator smelt good

-Great gift

-Easy to make

Cons:

-Butter and fluffy activators smell chemically and gross

-Messy

-Pre-made slime is overwhelming with smell

-Slime turns rubbery after a few hours

-Had to throw some of them away in a few weeks because they became “inactivated”.

Overall, I think I’d give it 3.5 stars. Not the best, not the worst, but more good than bad. I think it’s better for older kids because it’s very messy when you’re making it. you get glue all over your hands and it’s hard to wash off even with soap. However if you’re not stupid like me or don’t have the IQ of a 2 year old it’s very easy to make. Just don’t put your hand in the slime even if it looks done, mix it for a little bit more time.
