Loose USB-C adapter

The camera and mic quality is impressive and very easy to set up. Only downside is that the usb-c adapter is a bit loose, so a small movement of the laptop will cause it to disconnect. I suggest using a different usb-c adapter if you're getting this.

As easy to overexpose as it is to set up

The camera is exactly the same as most others of its style and function, being effortless to set up and use. It does make it so low light conditions (inside your apartment with a window open or at night with a single lamp in your living room) let others see you just fine. What it doesn't do is correct for normal light. You need low-light all the time with this camera, because anything more will overexpose whatever you're trying to see.

The picture I included is this webcam looking at a squirrel eating from my birdfeeder outside. It's cloudy right now, and there's no visible blue sky. That's still too much light for this thing.

best webcam I ever used

Great sound quality and video to boot! I was skeptical at first but the picture quality stays clear and I can talk to family or friends knowing I look and sound good.

Definitely worth it.

I’ve used this for video creation and video calling and it had held up really well. I forget it’s even there sometimes because it fits fine and it’s never caused any troubles. I’ve also had to use the microphone present on it at times and it actually did sufficient work. Very impressive product for the price, I would recommend getting this.

Me encanta esta cámara. La calidad de imagen es nítida y clara, perfecta para videollamadas y transmisiones. Tiene un diseño elegante y compacto, además cuenta con una tapa de privacidad muy práctica para proteger la lente cuando no se usa. La instalación fue súper sencilla, solo la conecté por USB y empezó a funcionar de inmediato. El audio también es muy bueno, capta la voz sin ruidos molestos. ¡Muy recomendada para trabajo, clases en línea o streaming!

Webcamera

This is a modern version of a standard webcam. It offers excellent, sharp, wide view video and good quality audio. It's a definite improvement over my older webcam. It's easy to attach to my video monitor and to my pc via the built in USB cable. Setup is almost automatic so you can't go wrong with this camera setup. This unit is for anyone who employs Skype (soon to be gone) or Zoom or any other program that needs audio/video to function. A good price effective webcam that is recommended.

It's a really good Webcam. Easy to set up and quality off the Webcam itself is really good. Only thing is when I'm actually using an application like with video calling my camera quality isn't as clear as when I just have the regular Webcam view up.

Disappointing quality compared to my iPhone front-facing camera

I realize that 1080p is far from the current standard for "best video quality." However, I was surprised at how poorly it appeared when compared to my iPhone's front-facing camera. The comparison is in the attached video. What you see and hear is what I got; I haven't done anything to change the audio and video that came out of the webcam and phone.

In addition to disappointing video quality, the sound is also worse. The gain is much less, and the sound is muffled. The gain problem can be easily fixed, the muffling not so much.

For me, this webcam is useless. I'm hoping their 4k webcam will do better.

Cumple con su trabajo de buena manera

Adquirí esta webcam para videoconferencias principalmente y la verdad es que me parece que cumple con su trabajo perfectamente, el diseño hace que la puedas acomodar de buena manera encima de tu monitor o en alguna superficie plana, tengo mis auriculares con micrófono así que no he utilizado el micrófono de la webcam no puedo decir nada al respecto de el, la recomiendo si buscas algo que cumpla y a buen precio.

Great quality webcam for the price.

I have been using this webcam for weekly Skype sessions with my family. The picture quality is great, certainly better than my built-in laptop webcam. I like being able to adjust the brightness and contrast, in certain environments my face would otherwise be too dark. The noise reduction mics work very well, my family can hear me but not my Tiktok scrolling. Easy to set up, and I can even close my laptop with the camera still mounted. The privacy cover is a nice touch as well. I shopped around for a while before deciding on the Emeet C960, I'm glad I went with this one.

It's tripod worthy..

This is 1080 but your computer camera needs to be at 720 when you are downloading so it doesn't take as long .

Fixed focus, super wide angle, OK video, not sure on the audio

It's a fixed-focus lens, so autofocus doesn't even apply. If you get too close, your subject will be out of focus. Don't even think about using it for macro stuff, like holding up a small item to it.

The lens is really wide angle. If you are three feet away from it, your head and torso will be in frame. Not good if you want just your face in frame, because you will need the camera 8 inches away from your face to achieve that. So note that. But if you want to put it on a tripod to shoot a room, or a group of people, it's a good choice.

The video quality is OK. It's better than a super-cheapo laptop camera. It displays in 1080p. It's very basic, though. Fairly noisy, rolling shutter is there is a lot of motion, etc.

The low-light compensation is decent enough. Same for auto white balance.

It's worth 20 bucks. 30? I don't know, kind of borderline. Anything more than that, not really.

Video streaming is your job = PASS ... Casual video for mtgs/life = BUY IT -- checks all the boxes

If video streaming is a way you make money, do NOT buy this. This webcam + microphone is not for professional level video streaming.

If you need a webcam + mic device that is good enough, and performs better than most/all laptop integration webcams, then just buy this and call it a day. There are a lot of options, but I promise that unless you are a really particular human, you will be happy with this product.

a) WfH business person taking video calls for work = YES

b) private individual streaming to connect with friends/family = YES

c) a recreational streamer = YES

**MOST IMPORTANT THING TO KNOW**

The camera can only go so far, but a lot of what determines the final video quality is what YOU do to create a good video streaming environment. Read: If you are in a windowless cave 50' below Earth's surface with no artificial lighting, poor video quality is on you, not the device.

Lighting and distance of the camera from your face are THE MOST IMPORTANT VARIABLES in determining whether this camera performs well or not. I posted a photo of my specific camera placement and lighting and desk situation, and have tested out four different lighting scenarios (listed below) to show the impact of lighting on the video quality.

**REVIEW NOTES**

Each number 1-4 below has a matching image that I have attached to this review:

1. Only natural light from my office windows (indirect sunlight)

2. #1 + clip-on desk lamp with warm colored LED

*MY FAVORITE SETUP* 3. #2 + recessed ceiling lights (3" white colored LEDs with 8' ceilings)

4. Natural light from windows + recessed ceiling lights (NO desk lamp)

*NOTE*: Each image was taken via Windows Snipit tool while waiting to join a Google Meeting

BOTTOM LINE, you have to mess around with your lighting and camera distance to get the sweet spot for

your specific environment, and may require additional lighting sources (e.g. lamp) to get it right.

The EMEET app is super easy to install and provides decent enough picture settings to tweak the image quality without being overkill. No login/account/signup required. I recommend keeping the "white balance" on AUTO at all times.

Amazing camera quality especially for the price. I had my AC on full blast and the 2 built in microphones barely picked up on it. Definity worth the purchase for a budget webcam.

THIS IS A VERY WIDE-ANGLE LENS

OK - you should know this before you buy it. This is a VERY WIDE-ANGLE LENS. Meaning - if you want your head to be proportionally located in the center of the screen, the camera will need to be mounted within a foot of your face. This is a problem for me since I have no such mount and mine is currently mounted to my large ASUS screen. So, basically, if you're using this for Zoom - you'll look like this picture. I'm sitting comfortably where I would normally sit - any closer and my eyes would hurt. This camera puts me wayyy back and I'm used to having my face be more squarely in the frame.

SO - if you like this wide-angle lens, this webcam is for you. If you enjoy your ENTIRE room behind you in the frame, this is for you. If you like fisheye lenses, this is it.

The lens quality is decent.. but you need proper lighting IN FRONT of you in order to get the best picture. Don't put light behind you - you will always appear too dark.

I'm still debating on this webcam.. I might get used to it.. I'm not sure. :)

Remember to enable the camera for apps!

I bought this for use with discord and for the price, it's phenomenal. My friends have no complaints with my audio, but the camera does make me look a little yellow. Thankfully my room lights are off 90% of the time and I just have my colored LEDs lighting the room so I don't notice it as much then.

My only issue is that there were no instructions on how to enable the camera for use on separate apps. If anyone who sees this must know though, just type settings in your search (for Windows), then in settings search "camera" and there should be an option to choose which apps access your camera. From here you'll be able to enable it. You will have to do the same for microphone, but if you're already in camera settings, it should be right below it on the left-hand side.

I was also pleasantly surprised to see it actually came with the privacy cover, since in previous reviews it was said that it did not come with. I was fully prepared to just use a sticky note.

For my pictures shown, the first one I did have to use a desk light to even see my face due to the lights in the background, but the second is just with my LEDs and another light in the other room on.

All right for the price

I am mostly using this webcam for virtual meetings so for that I think its ok. I was using a company issued logitech c920 that had to be returned. I still prefer the image quality of the logitech but didnt want to pay the price of it. This was easy to plug in and it installed itself. I opened google meet and it connected right away. This camera for some reason makes my face look tan. I tried taking the white sweater off and closing the blinds but the color didnt change. It also has a blurring effect on my face which makes it look like I'm wearing makeup. I think I'll get used to the quirks of this camera and will keep it because of its price point.

Better than my laptops camera

My HP laptop is getting old (maybe 8+ years) and the camera quality is very grainy and sound is muffled. I had to right click my Laptop’s start button, and click on device manager, and disable my HP camera for the new camera to work. I’ve attached a video if it helps anyone. But overall the quality is a lot better, has a wider angle, and the sound is clear. I do think there is some delay but overall It works great.

Really Nice

So I have the 2010 MacBook Pro, I love it , I had a new hard drive installed and updated as much as possible while keeping the classic alive but the camera was terrible, I seen this one and it was cheap so I didn’t have high expectations but it’s pretty damn good. If you’re a YouTube personality it’ll work fine , if you’re just doing zoom calls it’s just as good. The microphone isn’t fantastic but solid . It’s definitely worth the price !!

A good choice for the price

This camera came recommended to me by a friend as a solid choice for a inexpensive webcam. It definitely lived up to the recommendation. The video quality is nice even with my terrible lighting, and the picture is a much wider angle than my old webcam. This means that if you're talking to another person about an object you're holding or giving a presentation for work or school, it's very easy to have said objects on camera. The only downside to this is that I've had to clean my room more because more of the room is in the cameras view.

The built-in microphone is passable but not of the best sound quality. That being said you're not buying this camera for its microphone.

Lastly the build quality and ergonomics of the microphone are well designed. You can place it almost anywhere on top or below your computer screen and it'll sit there nicely. Installation is very easy as it is a USB connection.

Great camera for the price

I was using the built-in camera on my HP laptop, but the quality was not great compared to other people I met with on Zoom and GoToMeeting. I didn't want a "wide-angle" camera to show off my entire office but apparently that isn't a popular request. I am happy with the field of view on this camera if I keep the format narrow in the meeting application.

The image quality is very good and color is true. I have natural light through a window to my side and a desk lamp on the opposite side. I display most apps on a larger separate monitor, so placing the camera between screens is better than always showing a profile view.

Setup was easy. I plugged it in and the directions were clear to set it up. No problems. I have been using it for nearly a month and love it. I have also switched it to another laptop for a remote family gathering. The wider view was nice for that application.

Scrolling horizontal lines all over my screen when plugged into 16" Macbook pro's usb-c port. Video attached.

Sound is poor no intructions

I opened it up and plugged it in. Went to camera in Windows 10 but the sound was poor at best. Sent it back for a refund. I don't recommend this product. No software no website. When you go to the camera there's record and photo. Then you have to figure out where they are stored.
