Used this to replace the left and right tapes on my Sawstop.
Protip: you can cut this with a good set of heavy duty scissors.
Since it's printed on both sided (one right to left, the other left to right), I only needed the one kit to do my saw. Big fan of FastCap!

This is the best tape I’ve seen ever. One tape printed on both sides for right and left measurements with identifying 16th inch increments is perfect. As an afterthought, depending on your application there can be a lot of waste but it is likely that you only need this one item. Although it is not true peel and stick, there’s a reason for that and they provide the double stick tape separately.

This is one of those rare products that truly deserves six stars.
• Most tapes like this are 1/2”, but this one is 7/8”, which makes the metric and inch scales much easier to read.
• Most tapes only run in a single direction, so you need to buy two. This one runs both directions, starting from each end. Cut it in the middle and you get both a left-to-right tape and a right-to-left tape.
• Most tapes are peel-and-stick, but this one comes with separate adhesive, which makes installation much easier if done correctly. Apply the adhesive to the surface first, then remove the backing and attach the tape.
Pro tip: With the adhesive backing still on, place the metal tape on top and slide it back and forth until it’s perfectly positioned. Use a few inches of packing tape to hold it in place so it doesn’t move. Then remove the adhesive backing and start pressing down the metal tape. When you reach the packing tape, peel it off, and finish securing the remaining section.
Metal tape itself is 0.13mm thick. Metal tape with adhesive backing is 0.40mm.

Bought the 16 foot Fastcap Peel and Stick Tape Measure for my workbench’s. Very accurate tape for both Standard and Metric. Tape is metal and appears very durable for any abuse.
The double sided tape is strong, thin and perfect width to firmly hold the metal tape in place to a clean surface.
Not a big deal if you use tin snips to shorten your tape less than 14 foot.
Any other 2 sided tape won’t match and fit the same quality needed for the rest of the 2 foot of tape I need to secure to my workbench.
I wish there was a way I could resolve this issue without having to purchase a whole new Fastcap Peel and Stick Tape Measure.
I would give 5 stars for quality, appearance and durability, but being short 2 foot of “must-needed” 2-sided tape and no way to reach the seller, I can only give 2 stars at this time.

I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews on ruler tapes, but I'm so glad I decided to purchase this one.
First, I love that is a contiuous ruler, not one that repeats every 12 inches. It also runs from right to left on one side, then from left to right on the other, both directions start from zero, which is stellar, and also why the double sided tape comes separate. My unused portion can be flipped and used elsewhere, like on a table saw. Secondly, it sticks perfectly. It's been up for two months, I live in south Florida which is hot all year long and it has not budged. I found it to be accurate. It is a little tricky to center the double sided tape, but it's not too terribly difficult. It is a very useful addition to my sewing room. I find myself using it far more than I expected I would. That's why I would recommend this product.

I didn't read the description accurately I guess, that happens a lot, but this time I made a happy accident. I went to put this on my saw and it was right to left. Re-read description, "just turn it around", So I did
Update...
The left to right and right to left start on opposite ends of the tape. You know when you buy something and install it and you're like "why the F would you make it like this?", they didn't do that. They could have made both start at the same point so you have to buy two to set up measuring thingy, an engineer or intern didn't let that happen, that's rare. My saw is 38" left to right, I have 154" of tape remaining for right to left setup. 10 out of 5 stars. The tape and adhesive are separate, if that matters to you.
Another update...
The 1/16th marks are numbered... So you don't have to count 16th marks. I just realized this. I just looked closely to make sure I don't miss anything else, metric has a diamond every 32mm, not sure what that's for yet but I bet it will be useful at some point, also +100 marks are red. I rarely use metric.

Buena calidad muy bien especificada muy fácil de leer y entender

Misleading description! Missing metric scale and also not peal & stick. You’ll get roll of double stick tape. Don’t even bother

Great tape, goes on quite easily. My only complaint with it is that once my fence gets out to around 20, it's impossible to see where the line on the tape is. I'm going to move it right against the edge and see if that does the trick.

Works excellent

I really like these on the edge of my workbench. Unfortunately my shop and garage are not humidity controlled, and I have noticed these starting to rust after only 6 months. Will probably need tolook for something stainless or vinyl that can withstand my environment.

You can use it both left and right directions. You can use it 16 feet in one direction either left or right as it's printed on both sides. It reads 16' going left to right or right to left on the back. Or cut it in half and use it 8 feet in both directions left to right and right to left. Very nice to work with! It's nice and thin, about .005 thick (5 thousandths on an inch)
It's very magnetic so if you wanted to apply it to magnetic strips it could be re-positioned.
It's firm so I wouldn't recommend it for applying to round rails.

I needed measures in both directions on my table saw, this fulfilled that need. I scribed the zero locations on the rail, applied the double sided tape and laid down the printed tape. The right to left wasn't aligned properly (pilot error) but I was able to take the printed tape up off the double sided tape and reapply it several times until I got it right.
There was enough material left to put a 6 foot left to right and a 3 foot right to left (both starting at 100") on my work bench. If I had planned ahead I could have had a 4 foot right to left.
The double sided tape was a few inches longer than the printed tape.

Very easy to read and accurate also the adhesive that is sent with it sticks quite well so long as you properly clean the surface with things like acetone
Very happy with this product

The double sided tape is paper thin and extremely permanent. I tried a small piece on a section of dirty aluminum and as soon as it was laid down it was stuck. It is still there. I used it on my garage workbench and laid clear epoxy over it. It is so flat that it is completely covered and you can't even feel where the tape is with your eyes closed. It is a strong steel tape and double sided. The one side starts zero on the left the other side starts zero on the right. Easy to cut and apply, just make sure the tape is positioned correctly before you stick it. Love this product!!!

Tape is not the correct size to hold the tape down completely. Plus the curl of the tape will not let it lay flat.

I bought this for the express purpose to put it along the edge of my desk. I'm using the L-R format and it's great. It's dead nuts to the same marks as my Milwaukee tape measure, and the mm marks are perfect checked against various screw lengths I have at hand. Printing is crystal clear across the full length on both sides.
In the imperial measurements, it has marks down to the 16th, marks for total inches as well as inches within the foot (e.g. 13" and 1F-1) Metric side is tens punctuated by hundreds (i.e. 500, 10, 20, ..., 90, 600, etc) - a little weird, but it works overall.
I cut it down to the length I wanted no problem with a decent pair of household scissors - don't use the fabric or kitchen shears! I wanted rounded corners so I don't jab myself constantly, so I tried using a corner radius paper punch I have but it didn't have enough muscle. Instead, I filed off the corners, no problem at all with a steel file.
The surface scratches fairly easily, so if that's a concern you might want to clear coat it or something. I have a feeling some of the numbers are going to wear off around where I rest my wrists. These things aren't a problem for me with my expected use, it'll just add to the character of my desk over time.
Separate adhesive is neither a pro or con really, it went on easy, and it's silicone-based so it sticks great. It'll be nice that I have extra since I didn't use the entire length, so there's that I guess. There's definitely more than enough to do the whole tape measure.

Only half of the tape was printed on. Disappointed as most Fastcap products are well made and the QC is solid. I must have got a dud on this one.
