Screen stopped working

It is a really reliable monitor at first. I've had it for about four months and it's done a great job. The battery life is not that great tends to die fast. I would say about 30 to 60 minutes of use and the battery will start draining depending on how high you have the brightness.

No fast-forward to four months the monitor is not functioning. It died in the middle of a video shoot and I am really devastated because I thought I was buying the best. I'm trying to contact the field world customer team in hopes to get this replaced through warranty I will update everyone when I hear back.

Great accessory for gimbals. Good quality, great resolution, no lagging, easy to connect

I love this Camera Monitor. It's the perfect accessory for your gimbal and camera.

Image quality is great as you can see in the pictures, and it's very easy to connect to your camera, just plug and play.

I totally recommend this brand, I used to have an older version, but this one is better.

Bright and Easy to Use

The screen is bright enough to use outdoors without a sun hood. The touchscreen works well, and the 4K HDMI image looks sharp. Great monitor for the price. Highly recommended!

Excellent Portable Monitor for Video Shoots

I've been really impressed with this monitor. The built-in rechargeable battery is one of my favorite features since it provides plenty of runtime for most shoots without needing an external power source. It's lightweight, making it easy to carry for handheld filming or travel.

The display is bright and easy to see outdoors, and the touchscreen is smooth and responsive. Features like waveform, histogram, audio meters, and custom LUT support make it a great tool for dialing in exposure and color while filming. Overall, it's a well-designed monitor with a lot of useful professional features packed into a compact size.

Nice Clear Field Monitor that Just Works!

I needed a larger screen for my Olympus OM-D E-M1X setup, and this turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. The 6 inch display is impressively bright at 1200 nits, so even when I am shooting outdoors in harsh sunlight I can still see a crisp, clear image. The touch screen is responsive and makes it easy to tap through settings or check focus without fumbling with tiny buttons. Connecting it to my camera was as simple as it gets. I attached the included mount to my hot shoe, ran an HDMI cable to the camera, and powered it on. Right away I had a big, detailed view of my frame, complete with all the tools I rely on like histograms, peaking, and exposure overlays. It really makes a difference being able to see everything at a glance rather than squinting at the small built in screen.

The build quality surprised me in a good way. The aluminium shell feels genuinely tough and well made, but it does not add much weight to my rig. The built in battery is another plus since I do not have to deal with external power. It lasts through a long shooting session without any worry. The included sun hood attaches quickly and cuts down glare when the light is coming from a tricky angle. And the protective case is a thoughtful extra. I can pack the monitor away in my bag without stressing about scratches or bumps. It is just a well rounded piece of gear that does exactly what it promises, and I am really pleased with how it has improved my video and photo workflow.

Amazing and very useful

I’ve been using Feelworld monitors for a while now and the P6XL is a significant step up. Coming from the FW568 the screen quality and battery performance alone make it worth it. Having a built in battery is a game changer because you’re not dealing with extra cables or external power on location.

The 6 inch 4K touch screen is bright enough to use outdoors which was one of my biggest needs shooting fitness content. Nailing focus off your camera’s built in flip screen gets old fast and this solves that completely. The LUT imports, HDR monitoring, and waveform tools are all genuinely useful and not just spec sheet filler.

Sun hood and hot shoe mount are included which saves you from hunting down accessories separately. Setup is straightforward and it just works.

If you shoot solo or do any kind of run and gun content this monitor makes your whole setup more reliable. Highly recommend.

Been a wonderful monitor for the workflow. Love the built in battery.

While useful in other applications, this monitor is extremely useful as a broll/gimbal monitor for me. This isn't the first copy of this monitor I've used so can speak about this thing with some long term use experience now.

The monitor is phyiscally built very well. Great edges and awesome design. Looks extremely professional. The only things that takes away a little from the build is Feelworlds generic looking logo in italics (never been a fan of logos in italics in the center of a device) and also the provided sunshade and frame are plastic. The frame and share are good quality, just the body of the screen is so beautifully done.

The battery life is good, but better if you don't run it full whack brightness. It is possible to run it while it's charging via USB, which does really well since it won't die if you are hot swapping a vmount or something. The battery is quick to charge, though for some reason it will occasionally not charge immediately from some of my pd chargers unless I reseat the cable or move it to another charger. I don't know if that is just an issue with some type of token for power type it's receiving, or something like that. I have 3 other copies of this monitor and they all do that, and it's not a specific cable, charger, or anything else related to that. I've learn to wait for the red led to come on to confirm it's charging before moving on. It's only happened 4 or 5 times with the 3 units, so enough to be aware of it but not enough to bother trying to fix it.

The monitor in use is wonderful. Adjustability physically is amazing when you have that extra space a npf or even canon LP battery would take. You can full 90 degree angle this monitor and shoot from the hip and it works perfectly. Great for getting low angle detail shots. The brightness is usable outside, and the included plastic/velcro sunscreen fits nice. I use field monitors for composition and don't really do the lut or assist stuff. Color accuracy isn't perfect but it's close enough, so overall very happy with the monitors performance.

This monitor is a great supplement monitor or even main monitor. It's incredible on the gimbal with it's light weight.

The only issue I have with the Feelworld, and it's not an issue with the product is the price has gone up. Probably related to the current times, but when first reviewed a while back it was retailing for $169.99. At that price, it was an incredible deal. It's still a good product at $200, and worth it.

Returned item sold to me with a battery that barely works, overheats, possibly dangerous

I made a video showing the 20 min run time and immediate drop to 80% and high heat at 60% backlight with fan on 2. It is actually dangerous. Box was already open, it appears to be a return from somebody else. Fair warning.

Build quality is excellent!

You can tell it’s made well! The build quality is very durable and rugged. Lot of other monitors out there are plastic and feel cheap, this however does not. The all metal build gives me peace of mind when run and gun filmmaking as well as the built in battery. The price point is good too for the monitor market.

Great value! Highly recommend!

I’ve been using the Feelworld P6XL monitor on my cinema rig and I’m honestly really impressed with it.

The brightness of the screen is excellent, which makes a huge difference when shooting outdoors or in bright environments. Being able to clearly see exposure, focus, and framing without struggling against glare is a big advantage.

One of my favorite features is the built-in battery. Not having to deal with extra battery plates or swapping batteries constantly keeps my setup cleaner and more efficient when I’m filming.

Feelworld also does a great job with the accessories they include. The monitor comes with a mount, Velcro strap, cables, adapters, a protective case, and a sun hood, so you basically have everything you need right out of the box. That’s something a lot of brands charge extra for.

The battery life has been solid, the screen performs well, and overall the monitor feels like a great value for the price.

If you’re looking for a reliable, bright on-camera monitor that comes fully equipped, I’d definitely recommend the Feelworld P6XL.

Limited way to change

It’s OK all these features but what’s the point if it doesn’t work with the regular charger and it needs this original specific one only it just simply doesn’t work with any other. I think it’s a big loose.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great little external monitor — bright, easy to use, and feature-packed

Right out of the box, I was impressed with everything included — you get three cords plus a USB-A to USB-C adapter, which is super handy. The 6-inch touch screen feels solid and comes loaded with useful features.

The display is bright and clear, even outdoors, and the included sun shade snaps on easily when you need it. Battery life is around two hours, and there’s a QR code that links to a detailed 21-page manual if you want to explore all the features.

Setup was simple — I had it powered up and playing with the settings in minutes. It’s lightweight, mounts easily on a tripod, and has already become part of my setup for streaming videos and taking photos.

Overall, it’s a great little monitor — affordable, well-built, and packed with everything you’d need right out of the box. Highly recommend.

Bright, Durable, and Built for Pros – Love the All-Metal Design!

I’ve used several FEELWORLD monitors over the years, and they always deliver great quality. The P6XL is no exception — in fact, it’s even better! I love that this model has a built-in rechargeable battery, which makes mobile shooting so much easier without needing extra cables or plates. The 1200-nit brightness is perfect for outdoor work, and the all-metal housing feels solid and professional while still being lightweight. The touchscreen is responsive, the 4K HDMI input/output works flawlessly, and having customizable LUTs right on the monitor is a huge plus for color work.

FEELWORLD consistently makes excellent monitors, and this one raises the bar — bright, rugged, and reliable for any shoot!

Excellent portable monitor and the built in battery is wonderful. Great supplemental monitor.

Very useful as a supplemental monitor for gimbals and in general. The built in battery charges quick and last for a little bit less than 2 hours of constant on use for me. I pair these with other monitors that use NPF batteries and the weight savings of using this monitor is incredible. While the touchscreen is nice, the biggest win for me is how easy it is to manage since there isn't any extra weight from putting a battery on it, and it can also be charged while being used with the USB port on the bottom.

Color accuracy is close enough, not perfect but not so off that it's bad. Viewing angles are great, and brightness is stunning for outside and inside shooting. It has a premium feel to it.

It is a built in battery that's not user replaceable, so I have to see long term if this is a good or bad thing. Even if you have a portable monitor you like, this one is a great addition.

Compact, Battery powered camera monitor

Great value for the money. The only knock I have is that it doesn't record. But this little monitor is great to have for your small handheld shoots. You can attach it to something like a Sony FX3 and have a lightweight, compact setup that will last your hours. It gives you more versatility than having to rely on the small built-in LCD screens on your mirrorless camera. It's got all the functions you would want like 3D LUT, Waveforms, False color, framing, etc. It's got the expected (and i'd say required) connections for compatibility with today's modern cameras.

I saw the whole lineup of Feelworld products at NAB in Vegas and although it's not your top-o-the-line name-brand equipment it still gets the job done. I would recommend their products.

EXCELLENT!!

My first impressions of the FEELWORLD P6XL are really positive. The image quality is sharp, the brightness is excellent even outdoors, and the touchscreen is super responsive and easy to use. It feels sturdy yet lightweight, which makes it great for on-the-go shooting. The metal housing gives it a premium, durable feel without adding much weight, and the buttons and ports feel solid and well put together. I love how quickly I can adjust settings without digging through menus, and the colors look accurate right out of the box. Overall, it’s a reliable, high-quality monitor that instantly makes my shooting experience smoother and more professional.

Good quality

Good video quality and the touch sensitivity are good. The battery lasts about 2 hours, but you don't need a big battery on the back of the LCD.

Yes! This Feelworld P6XL Camera Monitor is SO helpful!

The Feelworld P6XL 6-Inch Camera Monitor has been a fantastic addition to my videography work and my wife’s photography business. The small built-in screens on our Canon cameras are decent, but they have their limits—this monitor completely solves that problem.

The image quality is clear, crisp, and bright, with adjustable settings for any lighting situation. The touchscreen makes navigating and fine-tuning settings incredibly easy. For my videography, the included sun hood is a lifesaver on bright outdoor shoots, and we’ve had zero issues connecting it to our cameras.

For my wife’s food photography, it’s been a real game-changer. She can instantly see how small styling adjustments affect the overall composition, even in bright environments. The clarity and color accuracy make a noticeable difference. (See our photos and video!)

If you’re looking for a reliable, easy-to-use external monitor that enhances both comfort and creativity, the Feelworld P6XL is a great choice. Highly recommended!

Good monitor for the price and features

Screen is very bright, clear and lightweight. Love all the features it has, still trying to learn them all. Great monitor for the price. Getting an attachment to hook up to my gimbal.

Bright, Professional Touch Screen Monitor

his Feelworld 6-inch monitor exceeded my expectations! The 1200 nit brightness makes it incredibly easy to see even in bright outdoor conditions, and the touch screen interface is intuitive and responsive. Setup was surprisingly straightforward - just plug and play with my DSLR via HDMI.

What really sets this apart are the professional features: the built-in LUTs allow for accurate color grading preview, the histogram and waveform tools are invaluable for proper exposure, and the HDR support gives me confidence in my footage. The aluminum housing feels solid and premium, while the built-in battery eliminates the need for external power solutions during shoots.

Perfect for both amateur enthusiasts wanting to step up their game and professionals needing a reliable field monitor. Great value for the feature set!

Decent monitor, but poor value and poor menus

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed in this monitor. I feel like the "sales pitch" of it being lightweight is a little oversold, I've used other monitors and with an NP-F570 they are just as light as this. A few other things I really don't care for....

1. The menus: entering the menus is only achievable through swiping, not through any buttons. Additionally, there are no descriptions on the menus items, just little icons. It doesn't help that this comes without a physical manual, you need to scan a QR code to get to the user manual.

2. No case: Most monitors come with a case, this does not. It makes this much more difficult to transport.

3. Limited mount points: There is only a single mounting point, which inhibits how you can use or mount this quite a bit.

4. No HDMI out

This is a very basic monitor, with a bright screen, but limited features in my opinion. The build quality is mid-grade, using a combination aluminum frame and plastic backing. It is thin, and the internal battery certainly makes it a very simple option for those who don't have a bunch of NPF powered devices and don't want to invest into those batteries. I LIKE the idea of an internally powered monitored, but just think this is poorly executed from both a software perspective and physical design perspective. This seems overpriced to me, and really would only be a good value at <$150. Even then I probably wouldn't recommend it...

Perfect for Photography Enthusiasts

My son and I are huge photography enthusiasts. He and I love new gear and when we saw these types of monitors we had to get one! I'm really happy we did. The color is very vibrant and clear. I like that the brightness is adjustable to your preference. I also like that it It has several options for settings. It sets up quickly and is ready to go in minutes. Get the right batteries and the charge will last a long time. The picture quails excellent and is a really good value. I personally feel like they were a decent price. I thought the screen size was going to be too small but I was wrong, it's just the right size for my camera. I also thought I would regret not spending the extra money for touch screen but again wrong. Highly recommend. Perfect monitor for gimbals and handheld rigs due to the light weight.

Compact, Light Weight, Portable, Powerful and Accurate Analysis Tools.

I’ll state this right at the outset: At its price point, considering the scope of the FeelWorld P6XL Field Monitor kit and its features, it’s an excellent value, especially for those on a budget. As a kit, it includes accessories not often found with more expensive monitors. In addition, it’s basically a full featured monitor in terms of the color, exposure analysis, and compositional aids it offers. Moreover, it can handle 3D LUT’s; what you see on screen, especially when using imported LUTs, is what you get on export; used correctly, the monitors analysis tools are exceptionally accurate. Also available are a full array of analysis tools for checking focus, along with on-screen sound monitoring. Additionally, all on-screen (OSD) tools are adjustable for x-y coordinates; they can be moved and arranged on the display according to the user preferences.

For those that have experience using a touchscreen monitor, FeelWorld’s P6XL menu system should be relatively intuitive. Once powered on, double tapping the center of the screen brings up the OSD of the various menus and sub-menus; a single tap hides them again. Once selected, each tool has options specific to its parameters, including the adjustment of its screen position when applicable. Swiping up from center screen displays the quick menu icons along the bottom, shortcuts for selecting a tool. With no menus showing on the OSD, swiping on the left side adjusts screen brightness, while doing the same on the right adjusts volume. When powered on, short presses of the power button lock/unlock the touchscreen. Navigating by use of the touchscreen and OSD is fast, efficient and precise; the screen is sensitive and responsive.

With its portability, light weight and built-in battery the P6XL is optimized for grab and go shooting on light weight rigs, gimbals and directly on a DSLR’s hotshoe, and its design features carry along that intent. Other than the on/off button, there are no physical controls; all tools are accessed using the touchscreen’s OSD. Physical features include the basics; HDMI in, a headphone jack for real time audio monitoring, a USB-C port for uploading LUTs and firmware updates, a charging indicator light, standard 1/4" threads on the bottom, and an in/out power USB-C port for charging, powering it when the on-board battery dies, or the monitor can even be used to power the camera.

The P6XL monitor’s maximum brightness is stated in the included quick start guide as 1200 cd/m2 or, if you like, 1200 nits (1 cd/m2 = 1 nit), a very respectable level of backlighting at its price. Outdoors, the screen and tools retain visibility and clarity in bright environments, even tools like focus peaking are easily decerned. Viewability can also be enhanced by the use of the included sunshade. Interestingly, the screen appears to have a polarized overlay, so viewing it gets wonky while wearing polarized sunglasses. The monitors compact size, crystal clear ISP display and its gray anodized aluminum frame give it a jewel-like presence; the fabrication is beautifully done and, in my opinion, makes for a very appealing form factor.

The P6XL’s display is fully adjustable for color temperature, grayscale viewing range (Auto, limit, or full), numerical RGB inputs, contrast, brightness, etc. There is also an HDR feature for viewing with an extended contrast range. Other options include user preferences for the amount of time an on-screen menu is displayed, OSD transparency and the display color when no signal is being received.

Another key feature of the P6XL monitor is “User Switch,” allowing the user to switch between up to four unique working environments. This allows the user to avoid screen clutter by setting up separate display environments for each task or analysis. The user sets up the OSD with a group of preferred menu items that may include exposure tools, focusing aids, marker, grid, and so forth, then it’s automatically saved as a set. Each of up to four environments can be quickly recalled using the touchscreen navigation. By this means, separate, discreet tool sets can be saved for exposure, focusing, cropping, color analysis, or what have you, then quickly switched from one to another, thereby avoiding clutter. These sets are retained when the monitor is powered off and can be changed and updated at will. A very convenient feature. Additionally, the P6XL can do Screen captures and image overlays, providing image alignment and continuity between shots in some situations.

The P6XL includes four built-in LUT’s, SLOG2, SLOG3, LOGC and VLOG, while an additional 32 user defined LUTs can be imported from a flash drive through the monitors Type C USB port; they are accessed and enabled by turning on the LUT switch via the OSD menu. When enabled, the LUT currently in use is displayed at the top of the display. In addition, the P6XL incorporates an internal, user controlled, variable speed (1 – 5) cooling fan; it’s quiet, almost silent, and isn’t picked up by the camera’s built-in or external microphones.

As the seller implies, the P6XL is optimized to be light weight, easy to use, portable and compact, and for that, there are a couple of trade-offs. First, there is obviously no battery that can be switched out for a charged one. The asserted 2hr run time is accurate, however, if the user anticipates a longer run time, than there will need to be a power management plan; in other words, how’s it going to be powered when the on-board battery runs out? In that regard, the P5XL can be powered by any of the usual means. That includes a power bank, v-mount battery, even some of the NP-F batteries that have a USB output port. Bear in mind that it takes about two hours to recharge the built-in battery.

Additionally, there are two trade-offs that might be significant for some users. One, there is no HDMI Loop-out, only HDMI in. That means that this monitor can’t be used to forward a signal to a second device, for example a monitor or wireless video transmitter. On the other hand, if the second device has loop-out, no problem, it can provide the signal to the P6XL. Second, this will not pass through 4K@60fps signals, only up to 30 fps. This is not the monitor for those shooting 4K@60fps. Be aware of these limitations. In all other respects, the monitor is a joy to use. It’s solidly built, simple to operate, provides a suite of professional quality analysis tools, and if used properly, provides very accurate color rendition and exposure. Moreover, its compact size makes it ideal for use on a gimbal, travel, and as an on-camera monitor by the use of the included hotshoe adapter. The adapter itself is a fully adjustable, solid, well-made accessory too.

At its price point, and considering the scope of what’s included in the kit, it’s an excellent value. Its strengths are its touchscreen navigation, the convenience of saving user preferences as separate groups, and its milieu of professional analysis tools, in fact, more than most will ever use. Furthermore, its aluminum encasement provides a sturdy, non-flexing platform. Moreover, for those that prefer a compact monitor, or even a second monitor, it’s an excellent choice; personally, I enjoy using it.

Along with several cables for HDMI connections and charging, a useful sunshade is included to enhance viewing in bright environments. Comparatively, Feelworld’s P6XL Monitor represents a lot of value for the cost, in my opinion.

As a side note, I found charging it to be finicky, and the seller makes reference to this in the online description. For that reason, the kit includes a dedicated charging block. It’s also picky about the charging cable and likes the one that is supplied with the best, don’t lose it.

An excellent monitor

The FEELWORLD P6XL 6-inch monitor is an excellent choice if you’re looking to add a lightweight, reliable monitor to your photo or video rig. It’s compact and light enough to mount without adding much bulk, and one of its standout features is the built-in rechargeable battery—saving you from carrying the extra weight of an LP battery.

The monitor includes an HDMI input for connecting your camera or other devices (though it doesn’t have an output port), and a USB-C port that allows you to import custom LUTs. It’s also a touchscreen, giving you quick control over settings like volume, menu navigation, and more. A headphone jack is included as well, so you can monitor your audio directly.

On the bottom, there’s a 1/4" thread for easy rig mounting, and the package comes with plenty of useful accessories: a mounting bracket, HDMI cable, USB-C cable, HDMI-to-Mini-HDMI adapter, power block, and a sun hood for outdoor shooting.

Overall, this is a well-rounded and practical monitor that offers great value and portability—an excellent accessory for any videographer or photographer.

The built in battery is very useful. Wish it was a little more powerful. Excellent balance.

I had a lot of fun with this monitor and found it a very good companion along with other field monitors powered by NPF or Vmount batteries. It is even possible to charge/power this via USB-C on the bottom, so for anything thinking it might be an issue not having a battery on the back you might be surprised how nice it is not having that awkward weight to deal with. On the gimbal this thing was wonderful! I love the balance of it. Battery life was accurate at 2'ish hours at 80% brightness. At 4k it only did 30fps, but it's a buttery smooth 60fps at 1080p. Functionality wise, it does lack a hdmi passthrough, and also only has one mounting point on the bottom. Having other Feelworld monitors that have points on the top and side made this one feel a little lacking there, maybe this will be on a version 2 of this monitor.

The size is wonderful. Since you don't have to worry about a battery on it, it fits VERY nice on a gimbal. Probably one of the best gimbal monitors I've used.

The color accuracy isn't 100% but it's VERY good. It's an absolutely beautiful monitor to look at with good viewing angles.

Interface is easy to use, though there's a lack of buttons on the device. It's very touchscreen oriented, so anyone who is in environments where touch screens are annoying to use might want to consider alternatives.

While I love the built in battery, I wish it was a little stronger. It's a good value for what you get, and a very stunning monitor visually.

Great Value at a Great Price Point.

I use video monitors on a regular basis for my video productions. This is the first Feelworld monitor I have been able to try out!

I have to say, I am very pleased with this monitor. It has everything I need in a monitor:

- Touch screen

- Bright screen

- Waveform

- False color

- Vector scope

- 3D LUT Storage

This monitor offers a lot more, but these are the features I use the most.

Compared to my other monitors, the P6XL is by far the most practical in terms of size. The built in battery means this monitor is exceedingly thin compared to monitors that require an external battery. Without an external battery, I can fit this monitor in the places I wished I could place my other monitors.

The build quality is great. The aluminum housing feels great and is a huge plus for me.

I also appreciate that this monitor comes with all the accessories you would need. Cables, adapters, sunshade, and even a mini hot shoe mount.

All-in-all, I think this monitor offers great value at this price point.
