From heavy to feather weight
As a videographer, I can honestly say the FEELWORLD PS6 exceeded my expectations. The name says it all—FEELWORLD truly delivers.
The first thing I noticed was how incredibly lightweight it is. It feels like a feather, which makes a huge difference during long shoots since it adds virtually no extra weight to my camera setup.
I also love the USB-C connectivity, making it simple and convenient to power and connect the monitor. But the biggest game changer compared to my older monitors is the AMOLED display. The colors are vibrant, blacks are deep, and the overall image quality is outstanding, making it much easier to judge exposure and focus accurately.
The 5.5-inch screen is the perfect size—large enough to clearly see every detail while remaining compact enough for handheld shooting and gimbal work.
Setup couldn’t be easier. FEELWORLD includes all the necessary cables with the monitor, so you’re ready to start filming right out of the box.
If you’re looking for a lightweight, high-quality field monitor with an incredible AMOLED display, the FEELWORLD PS6 is an excellent investment. It has quickly become an essential part of my camera kit, and I highly recommend it to anyone serious about creating professional video content.

High-quality AMOLED panel, but noticeable compromises
The AMOLED panel on this Feelworld is genuinely good quality, but it does come with some practical limitations. The monitor gets noticeably warm within a few minutes of receiving a Cinema 4K 60p signal, and venting is minimal, so the heat has nowhere to go. During early testing, I could also smell the typical “new electronics” off‑gassing as the unit warmed up. The housing is fully plastic, and there are no mounting points for a sun hood, which limits outdoor usability since it maxes out at 550 nits.
One note about the ARRI false color: the pink band appears to be set at 55 IRE instead of the typical 60 IRE, and you can’t adjust it. The monitor includes 1/4‑20 mounts on all four sides, but the included cold‑shoe mount does not have anti‑twist pins even though the monitor body has the cutouts for them. I also tried using one of my third‑party monitor mounts, but it didn’t sit flush near the vent area because that section of the housing is slightly raised. The user interface and tools seem to be improving, but compared to competitors, they still look outdated.
On the plus side, battery life is surprisingly good, even with a small NP‑F550. However, the NP‑F battery latch is a bit short and awkward to release. It works, but the design could be better, especially if you’re swapping batteries quickly. The panel itself looks good, has great viewing angles, and the blacks naturally look better than an IPS panel. Color also looks good to my eye at the default 6500K preset.
Overall, this monitor is designed to be as lightweight as possible while still offering a good‑quality image. It succeeds at that, but it also makes several compromises to hit the aggressive price point.

Super lightweight, made for portability and multi-layout shooting
Is the Feelworld PS6 good? Yes, without a doubt... The question is at what price.
The features of the PS6 exceed that of most basic camera monitors in a couple of different areas....
1. Lightweight - This is extraordinarily lightweight. Great for all day use on a gimbal.
2. Auto-rotation - Again, great for use on a gimbal or other mount, this is the first auto-rotating monitor I've used. The auto rotation works well except when the monitor is mostly flat. So fi your doing a bunch of low angle shots and have the monitor tilter toward the sky, it may struggle. In the majority of circumstances, it works just fine though. The menus/historgrams/etc. flip as well. It should be noted you can fix this monitor in one position if you desire as well.
3. OLED screen - The OLED screen on this allows for both very bright and very dim settings. I was really surprised at how low this can go. The touchscreen works flawlessly as well. I do not find myself needing to tap and tap again, it gets it right the first time. The ability to have 4k pass through is great as well.
From a design perspective, I think I like the fact that Feelworld ditched the quick function buttons and scroll wheel/scroll buttons. This allows you to have a mounting point on any side of the monitor you'd like. Additionally, the touch screen works so well, I didn't even find myself looking for those buttons.
The menu system is easy to navigate, and I was able to find the Zebra, Histogram, and 3x3 guides I like to throw up.
Notably missing from this kit is an NP-F battery, so if you intend to use this on a rig, be sure to factor that cost into the total price when comparing to other monitors. It is also missing a case. If you have a sleeve in your camera bag, your probably fine, but I really would've liked at least a neoprene sleeve to transport this in.
All in all, this is a good value at <$250. More than that, with the added batter cost, and it might not be a great value. You are really paying extra for lightweight and the rotation features. If you don't need those, you might be paying for features you don't need. Great design and execution for a the vertical shooting use case.
