Works well but beware of sharp corners!
I was grabbing this from my bag and sliced my finger from the corner of the metal. Please be careful when grabbing it! Photo of my taped up finger because I didn’t have a bandaid as PSA to make sure you have a first aid kit because you never know when you need it 😅

Nothing. I’m in a foreign country alone with a faulty product that cannot help me at all. This was a waste of money. Buy something else.

Good for the price
I received it in exactly the time they said it would come. Love the product. It is a easy solution for when your by yourself at home or if you travel alot and stay in hotels you can take it with you. It was a little bit hard getting the battery inside it but other than that, I give it 5 🌟 stars.

Expected this to be a NEW unit, obviously from the physical condition it's not. see photo. As far as function, time will tell. I did notice already if I set sensitivity to high, alarm goes off as soon as I turn on the unit. Essentially turning this "3 setting" unit to a "two". Would hesitate before buying another unit from these folks...

Defective: can't press the metal down to trigger
Defective item. Came with the long end of a screw left inside that blocks the metal from being able to be pressed, so it can't trigger at all. How does a manufacturing mistake like this happen?

No actual mechanism
It's simple, just put a 9volt battery in and it should work according to the set buttons right?
Nope, played around with it to see how the pushing mechanism works, nothing is actually pushed. The battery just sits there.
Then I was wondering why it wouldn't sound the alarm until I physically had to push the battery. Tried other batteries (such a waste of money) and same thing.
Honestly, unless you somehow engineer it to ACTUALLY push into the alarm, there's no way the push mechanism that it comes with does anything.
Still works with the alarm, BUT JUST BY YOU DOING THE PHYSICAL WORK ON THE BATTERY, NOT THE ITEM *AND* BATTERY.
So in simpler words:
Yeah, no, don't even try buying it.
If you do, the instructions are written on the outside of the box, no booklet, just on the box. It says to look at figures 1 and 2, but where? Without a booklet or online instruction sheet, which doesn't come with any, where am I supposed to see figures 1 and 2?

Peace of Mind!
I live in a secure building but a young lady was recently attacked outside my Apt. I'm an aging veteran and for peace of mind I bought this door stop alarm. It has an off button to save on battery use and 3 alarm sound settings. I only use when I go to bed. It's a great tool and everyone should have one. Especially if you live alone like I do. I also bought 2 batteries and a charger. This stop is well worth the small price of purchase just for my peace of mind believe me! Sincerely, Sam Stone

I do wish there was volume control rather than sensitivity. I'm using this my first night at a budget hotel, glad I have it; definitely gives me some peace of mind, especially given the deadbolt doesn't fully work on my door.
Have to give it 4 stars because it's my first night using it plus I'd take off a star anyway for no volume control.
Note: dogs don't like the sound this thing makes, it's louder than smoke detectors (not quite as high pitched, but definitely louder)

I ordered for my traveling daughter. I have heard these alarms in hotels while traveling, and wondered what it was; now I know. It may slide on a smooth tile floor, like mine, but not on wooden floors or carpet. She plans to use it in her home at her patio door. The volume is set at "low", with a range for high, medium or low.

Nice concept.. a few complaints and a few compliments I have....

Bad) 1. Broke on my first use
2. Problem is with the tiny return spring on the part the door hours to activate alarm

Oy is it loud! If you've ever heard of a screaming meme. This sounds just like one of those. I have no doubt anyone that would hear it would run for the hills. It smelled really bad when I first got it (the reason for 4stars not 5) like burnt rubber. It is getting better but it still has the smell.
