AVOID FEIT PRODUCTS!!!

The worst camera! No recordings found, but there are pictures of events. Supposedly self-formatted as it runs out of space, but nope! It would also say: “Floodlight is disconnected. Pay attention.” Nothing is wrong with wifi and no one is messing with the switch. Save your money and buy other brand instead. The app is a joke. So irritating. Been having these issues since I got the camera from 2021. Wish I had return it, but it was too late after few months. Take my suggestion!!! Do NOT waste your money!!!

I have LED strip lights and SmartPlugs too and they are terrible as well with connection. It loses connection from time to time as well. Just avoid their products. Terrible!!!!

Missing a piece

This is my third camera of this variety. Never had an issue except that the recent camera showed up missing the SD card cover door amd the screws. Card is here but no weather proofing. I reused the door from the older model I was replacing although its discolored amd cracked

Good security camera/light....but...

This is the second generation security light/camera I have purchased from Feit. The lights went out on the first one after 4 years and 2 months. The camera still works but the lights won't come on. I like the new one better except for one flaw. The settings allow either continuous recording to the included 128 gig SD card, or 1, 5, or 10 minutes when triggered by movement. The problem is, it records for about 25 seconds and stops! I'm hoping there will be an update that will fix this. Otherwise this is a great security camera/light. No subscription needed, everything goes to the card and is accessible via your wifi router from anywhere in the world. I just hope Feit updates the one flaw in the recording length. This is the SEC5000 in 2026.

Dependable and no subscription needed!!

I only buy this camera from Feit. This camera lasts!! I’ve owned one since 2021 and it’s withstood power outages and snow storms. Best part- no subscription required!! Built in SD card. Has a lot of storage. Super easy to hook up. Connects no problem. App is easy to use. Purchased the upgraded model and it’s almost the same but has some noticeable upgrades such as improved brightness.

Poor quality Feit outdoor light/security camera review

It was hanging on our front garage. It malfunctioned just over a month of instillation. The other two cameras are fine. It has water behind the lens. (Hanging from 2nd floor level of the house/above the garage). Not a good return on my purchase as my 30 day return was up just a month ago. Poor quality.

Terrible: motion sensing, IR, sound, app, automation. Get different brand

Very poor connectivity. They'll work flawlessly sometimes and others I can't connect at all or it takes a long time to connect and the video stops updating, or it'll drop completely. Sound is terrible, both directions. As speakers they will ruin your voice making you nearly unintelligible. As microphones they pick up every wind noise and then that blocks out any useful noise. They'll flip back and forth on IR night vision wickedly during shadows. They pick up bugs for motion but I can stand in front waving and yelling and they won't turn on or pick up almost any car that drives in front of them. These are about the worst cameras I've ever used. I have three. I've had them for years and I've updated hoping they would fix these awful issues. And the app is absolutely terrible. It won't let you interact with the light or settings until it can load the video. Everything I'm the app is in terrible grammar. Setting up automation is unintuitive and when finally setup it doesn't behave as programmed. These are junk and I'm moving away from Feit for anything other than just simple LED bulbs in fixtures. Most of those work, though they have quality control issues there as well.

Not good as other products from same manufacturer

Does not work as I expected, miss events or start late recording even no recording at all.. not recommended. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL

BEST WIFI Video Floodlight Camera

I Actually Used The First Feit Electric Floodlight Camera, Which I Purchased At Costco. It Lasted 3+ Years Until The Microphone Function Stopped Working. Boy-Oh-Boy…What An Upgrade!!! It’s Like Viewing The Camera On A GoPro Camera! Feit Electric Did Their Homework…You Won’t Be Disappointed, Whatsoever!!! (Take A Look A My Snapshot Photo From My Camera’s Driveway!!!)
