Wow! First, it's beautiful. But most importantly it sounds amazing. It's two fuzz peddles in one. First level is so versatile. Contour the sound however you like. Level two takes you on a crazy ride. I played with it for two hours having so much fun.

Since I bought (and fell in love) with the Fender Bubbler Chorus, I was impressed by the sound and build quality of these Fender units, so when I was looking for a fuzz I was considering The Pelt or this one.
All fuzzes seem to be one trick ponies, no matter the price point and I really wanted something that had a couple of tricks up its sleeve. This was exactly what I needed, and it sounds amazing, it's a completely original kind of sound.
It does everything I wanted and more, I can dial in subtle fuzz crunch, mid way punkish fuzz, click the octave switch for solos or weird synth-like chords or go full wall of fuzz and noise with "Fuzz 2". Guitar or bass its great.
The contour control is a tilt eq, so it does all highs or all lows, and the tone is a high cut, so there's no mids control in this unit, just in case anybody needed one.
I love this pedal and I hope Fender keeps these all-original pedals going, not just cloning or doing whatever every other pedal builder is doing. There are enough clones of Fuzzfaces, Big Muffs etc.. around.
Anybody looking for a fuzz pedal that sounds massive with multiple options and with great build quality go with The Trapper
