Finally got around to taking out of box and using. Used for the 1st time and “A” Bank on it decided to blow out and literally smoke even after popping inline fuse. “B” Bank is still working but do not trust. Way past return date but first time use should not have happened.
Honestly
Recieved unit today. The A channel is not working. I have two batteries, the B channel works on both batteries while the A channel indicates a battery voltage error with both batteries.

Bought two 4 bank chargers the mode button will not change from lithium to AGM.

This battery charger is great for 2 battery’s. It has setting for standard, AGM, and Li. The bottom of the unit does get hot when charging, but once it’s in trickle charge mode it cools down. It only comes with alligator clips.
A good tip: you need to change the battery setting right away when you plug the unit in. When I first used it I plugged it in hooked it up to both batteries and it would not change the battery settings. Once I unplugged and turned the unit on it would allow me to change the battery setting.
I have been using this unit for 3 months now and it has worked great with my boat batteries. Highly recommend this unit.

Short version - this is a great battery trickle charger/maintainer.
To expand.... I have multiple batteries in play, which do require periodic toppoff as they are not being used daily. Lawnmower battery typically gets least love, and up until this purchase, was sami-dead, and for the last two years, I have been pumping it to get going. Motorcycle battery is in similar situation, and required swap for new every year or two. In the pix attached, I have one of the older Motorcycle batteries, and a 5 year old lawnmower battery being triple charged. This charger absolutely does what it says. Lawnmower started right up, after just 6 hours of being on this 2 amp charger (per battery). One negative though... instructions are trash (lots if room for improvement)... read reviews and inputs from others, but most features I use are default settings anyway.

It work really great and very convenient to charge two batteries at the same time. I parked my 4500 Dodge work truck for a year for some problems and the batteries are totally dead and I need trickle charge for the batteries. This trickle charger made the batteries work again. You can mount it on the wall and maintain the battery for daily charge and easy to install. I can tell this is a good quality product since I started using it. It is very lightweight and I like they design for dual charging. I don't need another charger for other battery when I need to charge two batteries at the same time. I really like it. The best charger I ever had. I think it is a good price. Good product.

I have a few classic vehicles that I don't drive in the winter so the batteries always go dead. I just hooked this up to my 1964 Volkswagen because I got a few cranks out of the battery, then it went dead. I left this charging on my battery for 2 hours and came back and my car fired right up. It's easy to use and definitely worth having. It's made well and will get the job done. I've never had a dual charger before so this is a total game changer for me. It would be ideal for motorcycles that don't get driven a lot. Both charging lines come with 10amp fuses as well. There are mounting holes on the base so you can mount it on the wall in the garage for easy storage which is very convenient.

This is simple to use. The multi-purpose, one button press scheme makes this pretty fool proof.
I'm using this to charge (trickle) my mower and generator batteries through the winter (and top off in the spring, when we get a late start). Having the dual bank option is fantastic for this purpose.
It detected my 12V mower battery with zero issue, and quickly read the current charge level and proceeded to slow charge to top it off.
The cable length was great, when you include the AC power cord and the charging cables, it should reach just about anywhere.
The only downside to this is the lack of a SAE quick connection / adapter.
Outside of that, this is a nearly perfect charger!

Very nice dual charger, the included mounting screws were way too tiny for my needs so I used my own. Very easy to install, the power cord isn't long enough for my needs so I again haf to use my own.

Unfortunately, wasnt able to save my golf cart batteries that won't take a charge. They aren't showing up as dead/bad on this, they just keep blinking at 25% level for 3 days. So not sure if this machine should be doing better or of the batteries were just a total loss.
The build quality seems good though, and there is good reach for the cables to the batteries. Would have been great if the power cable were twice as long. And as others said, at this price, you'd expect removable leads.
Overall, I think it's good, but at $100 it seems priced about double what it should be for what you get.

What a fantastic idea! We have a farm with tractors, gold carts, and lawnmowers. We are endlessly charging or jumping batteries. We o ly have one outlet on the backside of the barn, and this allows us to charge two batteries at once.
The charger is mountable and they include small screws. We opted to mount it with longer screws. It can diagnose, charge, and maintain without overheating.
The cables on the charger are really long and functional. This charger is exactly what we needed and I am impressed with it's quality and usefulness.
My only issue (as with most chargers) is the handles are plastic so they will eventually crack from use and Florida heat.

This charger is extremely easy to install and setup. It charges my motorcycle batteries perfectly and is great quality for the cost. It functions just like the more expensive ones.

I appreciate the space-saving design of this battery charger. Its small footprint allowed me to charge my battery within the engine bay with the hood closed – a definite convenience. The digital readout is a nice feature, and it excels as a battery tender for long-term storage. However, the advertised de-sulfation mode didn't revive a severely depleted battery in my Jeep; I had to use an older charger first. Additionally, the mounting holes appear to be positioned in a way that could potentially stress the housing if mounted directly, suggesting the need for spacers or bushings. Overall, a good charger for maintenance, but the de-sulfation and mounting design have room for improvement.

Really nice car battery charger. Feels like quality. The alligator clips are strong and well made.
The charger is easy to use. When you connect it to a battery, it automatically identifies what kind it is (standard lead acid, AGM, lithium, etc) and proceeds to apply the correct charging process to that battery type. Couldn't be easier.
And, you can do 2 batteries at once and each can be totally different types. It's smart enough to handle that.
Big upgrade vs a basic trickle charger. Highest recommendation, great value for money in my opinion.

I have an older but very similar battery charger/maintainer as you can see in my pictures. When I bought it, the old one was considered to be one of the best there was because it was fully automatic. It automatically detected a 6V or 12V battery, had an indicator light for charging and a green indicator when charging is complete. It works really well for both charging and maintaining, but there was no display indicator to let you know the status of the charge. The First Power Charger is very similar in form and function with all the same safety protection that I can tell but also has a digital readout that can tell you the current voltage and amperage.
It's wall mountable and comes with screws if you have a spot for it and also comes with selectable battery connections. It has the standard clip-on style and also comes with eyelet ended wires for batteries with a stud and nut set-up.
They say it has High Efficiency Pulse repair to help retore lost performance. I have a deep cycle marine battery that went dead at the end of last season. My old charger couldn't bring it back and I honestly didn't expect this one to save it either. But what was nice with the First Power charger, it recognized the battery was beyond repair and an idicator light lit to tell me so. My old unit did not do that so I let it try and charge overnight ony to find out the next morning it wouldn't take a charge. So, props to the built-in technology.
I've only had it a short time, but it seems well built so I expect it to last and it's a great value for the price.

Very good charger, looks sturdy and the instructions are useful. There are two modes, 36v and 48v, but in the guide on the back of the product you don't go under 26v as a minimum.

This charger is compact but incredibly powerful—charged my car battery way faster than expected. I love that it works with both lead-acid and lithium batteries, making it super versatile for all my vehicles. The pulse repair and force mode features are game-changers for reviving weak or nearly dead batteries. Plus, the safety features and seasonal modes give me total peace of mind—highly recommend!

Great battery charger.
Very compact and easy y to use.
I like it very much.

If you have a car you don't drive a lot, you need this! If you have a modified car you're constantly reflashing your ecu on, you need this! Leave the terminals connected to your battery, and connect to the charger while it's parked. I plan to buy an extension so I can keep mount the charger on the wall with the included screws! You can charge a second a battery/vehicle with the separate alligator clips. Shows voltage and the amp rate its charging at.

Extremely happy with this product! This 5A car battery charger does exactly what it promises and more. It’s lightweight, compact, and easy to use. I’ve used it on a few different batteries so far—lead acid, AGM, and even a lithium LiFePO4—and it handled them all like a champ. The automatic voltage detection and trickle charging feature make it worry-free, especially for maintaining seasonal vehicles.
The pulse repair function is a nice bonus. I had an older battery that was sluggish, and after a few hours on this charger, it actually started holding a charge again. Not a miracle cure, but definitely helped bring it back to life.
The LCD screen is bright and easy to read, and it gives real-time feedback on charging progress. I also like that it doesn't overcharge—once the battery is full, it shifts to maintenance mode automatically.
Overall, this is a fantastic tool to have on hand whether you're maintaining motorcycles, cars, ATVs, or lawn equipment. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a smart, portable charging solution!

I picked this up to keep my boat batteries topped off over the off season and it's working great so far. Setp was easy and it accurately detected the type of batteries as soon as I connected the leads. It appears to be keeping the batteries topped up and isn't generating an excess amount of heat. Great setup.
