A super great rug! It is amazing quality! This is the second rug I've bought from Flagship and they're always durable and cute!
Will say, I agree with another commenter. The rug is more of a dark grey than black, but that suits me just fine. I just needed something darker that wouldn't show the mud the kiddos track in after recess! Will buy from this seller over and over again!

Just now unpacking my rug to put in my classroom, and have sadly missed the return window! It is a muted, dark gray-ish black, not at all the vibrant black in the pictures. The pile is different shades, even when walking on, it leaves a “trail” of lighter vs darker. You can literally trace on it with your hand and see the difference. The quality seems good in terms of durability, but overall I am disappointed in the look of it as it is not a consistent dark black.

It was pricey but I am in love with this rug. It feels wonderful, looks beautiful, it’s a great size for my classroom, and I get so many compliments from other teachers that come in. It seems durable like it will last awhile.

Perfect classroom rug! The color is great and doesnt show every little imperfection over time.
I had mine for over a year now and it still looks perfect.

I wanted to love this rug. However when I received the rug the color is very different. It's more of a sky blue. I was very dis's appointed and will be returning. It's also a hassle to roll it back up and try to Saran Wrap it to send back. Please update the picture/ description.

I went back and forth over a few different styles and sizes of rugs and I’m so happy I chose this one for my classroom! I will update throughout the school year how it holds up!!!!!

I purchased this classroom carpet two years, and it has been fantastic. It’s been used daily by my students during whole group lessons and morning meetings. Despite all the foot traffic and activity, it still looks great with no fraying or damage. It’s easy to clean. It held up through the entire school year, and I’ll definitely be using it again this year. I’m very happy with the quality—worth every penny!

I had been wanting to purchase a new rug for my classroom and I finally purchased this own for the school year. I love that it has spots that each student can sit on and have their own space. Halfway through the year, I can say that the color is holding up and cleans easily once vacuumed. I do get lots of compliments on the design. I think it is a perfect size rug for an elementary classroom!

Great quality and the kids love it!

This rug is perfect for my classroom! It is a bit on the pricey side for the material it is, but I like the simplistic, black and white look. The only thing that is off is the fact that is presents a little on the gray side, it is not the vibrant black color I was hoping for.

Mine was a grayish when I pulled it out :/

I never share reviews but felt this was important to share. I was very excited about this rug, I had been dreaming of buying my first classroom rug for years. When it arrived after over a week, I unrolled it in my classroom only to see yellow stains, other discoloration, and mold on the bottom of the rug. It also smelt to a point where another teacher came in and asked what that smell was as the whole room smelt like mold and mildew. Given the timeline they gave for the refund, I knew I wouldn’t able to purchase a new rug for my students who are coming back to school shortly.
As a last resort, I reached out to the Flagship company themselves and was treated with nothing but grace and respect. I am very thankful for Flagship’s honesty and understanding.
With all this being said, I returned this rug for a refund and am working with the company itself to get another beautiful rug for my students. I have nothing but amazing things to say about the Flagship company and would encourage other educators to reach out and purchase through them directly.

I was so excited to get a new rug for my classroom at 15+ years with my old one. This rug is a great size. When I started to unroll it, I noticed stains on it. The stains went through to the underside. I am sadly going to have to send it back. I didn’t try to clean it with a carpet cleaner because I felt like for a $300 rug I shouldn’t have to, and I didn’t want to mess it up cleaning it and then not be able to return it.

Not very happy with my order because the rug came stained. It looks like it has been used. Not satisfied especially for the price I expected a new and clean rug.

My rug is absolutely blue, not black. I really wish it was as black as the pictures above and the description.

I’m a teacher and I’m familiar with the brand Flagship. They offer quality and style. This rug is no different. It is well made and worth the cost because it will last for years with proper care.
The colors are rich and the design is modern. The white circles are not iron ons but rather the same material as the black background. The pile level is perfect for a classroom. It’s easy to sweep over. It’s not too thick or fluffy. It still provides plenty of comfort even over a tile floor.
The stitching around the edges is what sets this rug apart from the competition. It is very well done. I took a close up photo to show the detail.
The backing is great quality too. I don’t have carpet tape or a rubber rug liner under mine yet it stays in place in a high foot traffic area. It hasn’t scratched the floor either.
It can handle classroom level abuse. My first flagship rug lasted over 8 years. I expect the same for this one and I’ll update as time progresses. This one is fairly new so I can’t comment on the durability of this exact rug. However, seeing the quality of it makes my expectations high.
It is a big ticket classroom item but with the quality, durability and style I highly recommend it. I plan on purchasing a few more in the near future.
