8 Year Old Class Approved

I was worried about the size of the circles but this rug is perfect! It easily fits 8 year old children comfortably. It’s truly the perfect size as it allows for carpet time but doesn’t take up too much room! It’s also super easily to clean and the colors are super bright! Unrolled it a week before school and it laid perfectly flat! These kids have put it to the test and it’s been so durable!

My best purchase to improve classroom management. The circles provide a seat for everyone (24) and works well with third grade bodies. It is a quality rug with bright colors, and I would purchase it again.

Cute Classroom rug

This carpet was perfect for my classroom. The spacing was great. It was cute and there aren’t too many cute classroom rugs out there!

So disappointed 😞

I was so excited to get this rug for my new classroom and when I unrolled it I was so disappointed. Big seam where the base of the rug can been seen.

Destroyed

I was really excited to get this rug for my classroom. I love the overall look of the design. However, when my rug was delivered, it looked like someone has cut it and the edge was just dangling. It seemed so careless. The fact that someone could justify delivering it in that condition irritates me.

Super vibrant! This rug is amazing for homeschooling/classrooms/playrooms!

This rug is REALLY vibrant, and beautiful. I’m using it in my children’s homeschool room, and it really adds that finishing touch. It’s really nice quality, dense, and so far durable. We’ve been using it for almost three months now, and it’s holding up very well. It actually looks exactly the same as when we first got it. The color is just as vibrant too! The carpet fibers are dense, and durable. I would definitely recommend!

You can not go wrong with this carpet!

This carpet is so beautiful! The colors are so vibrate. I was actually surprised by it when I first opened it up. It is so fun, and can go with almost any theme. I got this for my son's bedroom, but it can easily be used for a classroom. It would be great for a reading area, or a group activity. The circles can be used as seating area, you could even figure out a game to play Ithe circles with it, on the lines of musical chairs or something. This carpet has so much possibility. My son loves to play on it, he prefers to sit on the rug Instead of his bedroom carpet. He loves to follow the circles with his finger, and he likes to walk in the circles. It is extremely soft and fluffy, even straight out of the package. It is also smooth and doesn't bubble up or need tape to hold down which is a huge bonus for me. It is very well made. There is no loose string or edges fraying. It doesn't seem to be easily rubbed raw, I can imagine the color may fade a little with age but with how bright it is I think it will last a very long time. It has great padding with it as well, my son has taken nose dives straight into it and it is padded enough he thinks it's a game. Overall, I really enjoy this carpet. I love the colors of it and it looks great with any decor, it really makes a room feel fun and comforting. I highly recommend it for any teacher who wants to make their room, inviting and fun. You can not go wrong with this carpet.

Very colorful and well sewn

I love this rug! It is much larger than I imagined and it is perfect for a classroom or playroom. The colors are bright and vivid, and the circular patterns lend themselves to perfect sitting spots for kids in a structured setting. There is a strong seam that goes around the border of the rug and seems to help keep the edges from curling up. I'm highly satisfied with this rug and would recommend it.

A superbly made and fun carpet!

I'm not too wild about the circle pattern on the Flagship carpet, but build quality is top notch. I know it's advertised as being for the classroom primarily, but it is also great for the home. Our two year old loves it. We wanted it in his bedroom in order to help us create a happy place, and already we're noticing some positive changes. We've been trying to make his room a progressively more fun place to be so that bedtime is easier, and so he'll want to play in it more, instead of negative associations of it as merely a place he sleeps (or is forced into). It's easier for us to get some chores like laundry sorting and folding done when we're all upstairs. There's a less potential for him to get into trouble.

Quality, as I mentioned, is superb and I can't imagine a better build than this. I appreciate that it's made in the USA and certified for low emissions. It comes rolled up tightly in a thick polyurethane bag and is light enough for an adult to easily handle. Once you cut open the bag, only 2 small pieces of cellophane cling wrap hold the ends together. This reduces waste, so thank you Flagship Carpets for minimizing packaging. The edges may need some time to uncurl, but in our case, we didn't have a problem. There's a little bit of new carpet smell, but only if your face is close to it.

The carpet is relatively thick and stiff. On the back, it has a non-slip mesh, so you'll probably not need a rug mat. We have ours on hardwood floors. The carpet also adds a lot of traction. The pile grips items placed on it, and books, for example, become much less of a slip hazard than they were before with just bare floors.

My son loves to sit and play on it. We can tell him to sit on one of the colored circles and he'll do it! Some kids do really well with structure and direction, and this carpet provides a lot of room for directed play. Each child could be assigned a color, for example, and stay within boundaries. Saying that the carpet seats 20 is highly optimistic though, unless all the kids tuck their legs in and sit still. I think maybe 10-12 toddlers is realistic. I've uploaded some pictures of my 2 year old playing on it to give you some idea of sizing.

It's also winter here as I write this review and the carpet adds insulation. Sometimes I like to lie on the floor next to my son's bed just to close my eyes for a bit while mama reads him his bedtime books. The bare wood floor is cold. Not any more! I actually fell asleep for maybe 15 minutes on the carpet as he and my wife went about their evening routine. It was quite comfortable.

If you like this rug, consider also . I'd choose that one over this. To me, it looks like Kandinsky's famous .

Bright vivid colors, Quality materials, Cleans Easily, … and a bit too small.

We received the Flagship Carpets FE412-32A Circles Primary Children’s Classroom Seating Rug to try out in a second-grade classroom and to write a review. There were things we loved and a few things that disappointed, but overall this is a quality product. Read on for the details:

WEAKNESS:

• This rug isn’t large enough to hold twenty 2nd graders comfortably. The children are larger than the spirals - they do not have enough room to sit with their legs criss-cross without bumping the person beside them. Kindergarteners should fit well.

• The back of the rug is not non-skid and it moves around on the tiled floor. You’ll need an additional non-skid mat underneath to keep it in place.

STRENGTH:

• The colors on the rug are bright and vivid.

• The rug is very easy to vacuum and comes clean without much effort. We’ve already had paint spilled on it, and it was cleaned completely with soap and water.

• Flagship Carpets are manufactured in the United States.

• The edging is sewn with strong stitching and does not appear that it will fray easily.

• The variety of spirals allows easy and quick organization of the children. The children enjoyed having their own color assigned.

Overall, we’re thrilled with the quality of the product, especially for a classroom. It looks great, is made of high-quality materials, and cleans up easily. We only wish it accommodated larger children, we feel this is a bit too small to grow into. Highly recommended for kindergarten classrooms.

Not impressed with shipping and handling but love the rug

The bad:The shipping took a while and i was less than impressed with the packaging. This rug is a very light grey and white where i had hoped it was a darker grey like the pictures. It also came with a couple spots that looked like grease marks. It has flattened out finally after about 10 days of being rolled out but i am still waiting for the wrapping indents to resolve.The stitching is ok but i am afraid of further fraying.This arrived in plastic wrap that caused deep indents in the carpet. I was a little disappoonted to spend so much for shipping and get the rug in a giant plastic bag. With no further protection from its shipping journey. I would give a higher rating if there were no stains on the rug when it arrived. I know this might sound critical but this rug was not cheap!

The good: There was no bad odor when opening and it has a sturdy bottom. The designs are crisp. This rug allows plenty of space for students to sit comfortably. I am a little worried about it discoloring and getting stained but so far i have been able to walk on it without footprints. It looks nice and doesnt draw too much attention. I am going for a cool color theme to create a calm learning environment and this is a great addition for that goal.
