Good sounds for the price - but you get what you pay for
OVERALL:
a fun little pedal with 6 of the 11 effects being quite decent. 3 effects are just meh, while 2 are unusable. the 6 useable effects are not best-of-class, but for that price i don't know of any other device that offers so many (decent!) options.
PROs:
- effects #1 chorus, #2 flanger, #3 tremolo, #4 phaser, #6 rotary, and #8 auto-wah are quite usable. none are the best version of the effect, but they're entirely decent.
- the depth (AKA mix) knob is a great addition. the ability to blend in just enough effect is what makes this pedal useful. for example, 100% wet on chorus doesn't work for me, but roll it back to around 60% and it's quite nice.
- solid construction (as described in the instruction booklet, "Full mental shell" :-)
MEHs:
- i'm not sure how i'd use effects #5 vibrato and #7 liquid (?). they don't sound terrible, they're just... not useful, IMHO. might work for others, YMMV.
- effect #9 stutter is very similar to #3 tremolo. by playing with the knobs i could get them to sound almost the same.
- although it offers 11 effects, quickly switching between effects on the fly isn't really an option: the knob settings for one effect are likely unusable for another, meaning that switching effects = fiddling with the knobs = not something you want to do in the middle of a jam session or a gig. so if you wanted, say, both chorus and a flanger in a live setting, i'd recommend getting two of these pedals.
- tone knob isn't particularly useful. better than nothing, i guess.
CONs:
- power supply not included, and does not accept batteries - AKA bring your own wall-wart.
- effects #10 ring(mod) and #11 low bit(crusher) are unusable (except for alien fx, maybe). very noisy too.
- included instructions lack any info on the CTRL knob's function (see attached screenshot from the online version).

Your Guitar Tech Will Love You Forever
This thing deserves 100 stars let alone 5. Any reviews you see with less than 5 are simply pure prejudice because they're stuck in the mindset that appeared somewhere in the early "00s that you had to spend tons of money for quality effects pedals. Those of us that do sound engineering for live production love old skool do it all analog wonders like this. I play in a very well known metal band and I recently purchased this after hearing the audio clipa mainly because I needed a quick and quality sounding chorus pedal. My guitar tech loves this as much as I do because with the rotation of one dial he can turn it to different effects for each song that requires the effect. I keep my chorus on as it's part of my tone with my Peavey 6505 1992. the REAL 5150 and Zakk Wylde overdrive pedal. When I solo my tech just turns it from chorus to wah and brings my volume up a bit. No need to buy multiple modulation pedals when companies this intelligent make truly unique and classic designed effects like this that aren't digital for an insane price point. How they made this pedal this inexpensive is beyond me and I'm insulted by all those big brands begging me to sign endorsement deals. If you play live shows and go on tour frequently this is a MUST for you and your guitar tech. Your tech will love you for having something small and simple for them to manipulate.

Nice Modulations
I have the stereo big brother to this pedal, the FS05. But to make the smallest pedal board, I wanted this "pico" sized pedal. It's virtually identical, except not stereo. I am building a "pico" pedal board and this is a really good coice as it covers several pedals in one: Chorus, Tremolo, Flanger, Phasor, Vibrato, Filter and a Ring Modulator, Yes, you can only use one at a time, but I have never found a good reason to run more than one modulation effect at a time. I guess if I do, at this price I can buy another.
And, in a sense, I did. I had the FS05 and I still bought this FC05.
Buy one... Buy two and stack your modulations!

Might be my fav pedal of all time
I love this pedal, insane value for the price. The build quality is good, comes housed all in metal, colors the signal a bit but is adjustable with it’s tone knob. No volume control but as far as I can tell it stays quite level with the input.
At least 3-4 of the modulations are very accurate to the bigger name brand effects they’re trying to copy, namely the univibe, phaser and auto-wah in my opinion.
The genius here though is getting a ton of modulation effects in one so you can figure out which ones you love, and then go get a better version AND still have this one around for testing combinations. Heck buy two.

Bang for your buck
Not enough comments about how awesome the color and finish is on these pedals. The Flamma is what I bought. It is a perfect way to get cheap access to tons of guitar effects - and super easy to use.
Would be a great one-pedal pony for someone to start out with. Pair it with a mini amp and you have your own rock show. The Liquid and Stutt settings are my favorite.

Awesome pedal - Works great with synthesizers!
This is an awesome little guitar pedal, and it works great with keyboards and synthesizers. I'm actually thinking about buying another so I can have stereo processing by adjusting them slightly different. I have a home music studio and make Youtube music equipment videos under the username DKDiveDude.

This thing is ok for beginners, significant tone change so I returned it
What can you say... 11 effects in one? And they all work and can be adjusted individually? In the video my amp is making some noise (no noise gate). I photographed the pedal next to a nine volt battery so you can judge the size. Edit: After some use, I noticed quite a significant signal bleed when the switch is off on the pedal - I can still hear the effect bleeding into the signal. I also notice a tone change when engaging the pedal to a trebly shrill tone. I returned it!

Be sure to use 300mah or higher power supply. It cannot be daisy chained with other pedal. Other than that it worked perfectly.

A good effects device
Not expecting too much performance at this price point, I was pleasantly surprised, having been a guitar player for over 55 years. While unable to use more than one effect at a time, the pedal is great to figure out which more expensive stomp boxes one will wish to chain together. I really dig the “Rotary” effect at the 12 o’clock position of the selector knob. It mimics a Leslie organ speaker as well as any effect I have heard, all at much greater monetary expense. Tremolo, vibrato, phase, flange, autowah, all work as expected plus a few IMO other effects fun to play with. I feel this was a very good buy.

Item wouldn’t even power on
I bought the flamma FC05. The green one with all the different modulation effects. I was excited to use it on my gig the next day. However I got the pedal, plugged it in and it wouldn’t even turn on. I switched power supply’s to see if it was that and still nothing. It wasn’t any error on my part, just a defective pedal. Super disappointed. First experience with flamma and not sure if I will go back.

Mod Flamma pedal works, but lots of noise
Updated 07/2026: Since my first review a couple of years ago, my rating hasn’t changed. After my initial review, the seller reached out and offered a free replacement. That pedal had the same noise issues, so I tossed them in a box and went on with life. Tonight I decided to try them again on my new rig with an upgraded amp, pedal board, etc. Same issue. The noise essentially makes this pedal unusable. It’s a drag because I like the mix of tone effects on this pedal. Alas, it’s not meant to be for me.
I purchased this a while back and when I added it to my pedalboard, it caused a bunch of noise. I recently tried it again as a stand-alone pedal on a Blackstar Fly 3 practice amp with the same problem. The noise is bad enough that the pedal isn’t really usable. It packs a lot of tone options in a small package, but with the buzzing and static noise, it’s not a usable pedal.

Power and Noise issues
The Flamma FC05 is a good sounding Modulation pedal but the annoying thing is that every time you power up the Pedalboard, you have to unplug the Power cable on the FC05 and plug it back in in order to make it turn on. The other issue is that it has an annoying high pitched whine when switched on with even a light Chorus setting, I just read from another reviewer that he had his replaced with one that works now. If so, did they fix the power issue on the newer units?

Works! Small controls.
This pedal actually sounds great, you wouldn't expect it at this price point. Low noise (although not zero, and it's not true bypass), useful set of effects with good parameters. The only real complaint I have is how tiny the settings are; they're virtually impossible to setup one-handed.

Really cool and compact!
I’ve never had a mod pedal before so this was really fun to play with. I love the size, and the ease of use! I’m a pedal beginner so this is a great introduction to the settings and such. I really like the auto wah and phase on it a lot. Definitely a cool pedal. I just learned of Flamma but I’ll definitely be buying more!
