FW20 Wireless Guitar System

The wireless system operates stably, and the signal between the transmitter and receiver remains consistent during standard use. The silent plug functions as intended, allowing the instrument to be connected and disconnected without creating unwanted noise. The battery life is adequate for normal practice sessions, and the design is compact.

Broken in two months

Bought in October 2025. Transmitter gone by January 2026. Will not charge, will not work. See attached video, filmed after hours of charging.

Return window closed. No seller contact given. Very disappointed. No options other than writing a review to help future would-be customers.

Would not recommend this product. Stay away from it. I also have a pair of Lekato brand. These have worked well for a long time.

NOT AS DESCRIBED - 4 channels only; can't use multiple sets together

Why did you pick this product vs others?:

BEWARE - NOT AS DESCRIBED

These are NOT 18 channel systems, they are only 4 channel systems. Even with 4 channels you can't use multiple sets near each other, they still interfere with each other (even with just two sets). At best they work around 20-30' away, but we had issues as close as 6' with poor connectivity.

Archaic user interface forces you to "count the blinks" to see what channel you are on, and pressing the button will always change the channel, you can't just check it. All of this, and they have a giant LED "F" on the front of it as a logo on top of the white text of their brand name. The smallest text tells you if you have the Tx or Rx in your hand 🙄

Not worth it, not as described. Just buy a longer cable - you'll get the same range and better connectivity.

Cordless Guitar Transmitter Rechargeable USB C for Acoustic Electric Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, etc

The FW2D Wireless Guitar System is a game-changer for any guitarist who wants to ditch the cables and experience true freedom on stage or in the practice room. This compact and affordable system delivers impressive sound quality with minimal latency, making it a reliable choice for both casual players and serious musicians.

What I loved:

Effortless setup: Pairing the transmitter and receiver is a breeze, and the intuitive controls make it easy to get started.

Crystal-clear audio: The 2.4GHz wireless technology provides a stable connection with virtually no interference, ensuring pristine sound reproduction.

Long-lasting battery: With up to 6 hours of playtime on a single charge, you can jam all night without worrying about running out of juice.

Versatile compatibility: Whether you play electric guitar, bass, or even ukulele, the FW2D has you covered.

Silent plug: No more annoying pops or crackles when plugging or unplugging! The exclusive mute plug feature ensures smooth and silent transitions.

Minor quibbles:

Range: While the advertised 98ft range is impressive, it can be affected by obstacles and interference.

Plastic construction: The transmitter and receiver feel a bit plasticky, which might raise concerns about durability in the long run.

Overall:

The FW2D Wireless Guitar System offers exceptional value for its price. It's a fantastic option for musicians who want to enjoy the freedom of wireless playing without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

Great sound quality!

This wireless transmitter said comes with a big surprise. At this price point I’ve owned many wireless transmitter and receiver sets and I have to say this is probably one of my top favorite more affordable units out there. The sound quality is fantastic or 2.4 GHz. And most importantly, the battery life is superb. It always seems that some of these units have very poor battery life however, these are very efficient and hold a charge for a very long time.

Overall, the build quality, the sound, and battery life of this unit paired with its very approachable price tag this one’s a no-brainer. Absolutely don’t sleep on this wireless transmitter set. I would absolutely recommend it.

Good pickup nearby, and clean sound.

I'd say this one had a range issue, and didn't last as long as many others I've experimented with. The sound was decent, and clean, but range could be a factor. There are many like these, and those are the most important items on the list, the cleanness of the sound, and distance. Form factor is good and can fold up close to the instrument, or stick out where you can see the leds if you like.

A great wireless transmitter that's fordable!

This wireless system is very easy to use. I was concerned that the transmitter would get in the way as it's much more bulky than your standard cable at the input jack, but it hasn't been an issue and now I'm used to it! I LOVE not having to step over cables! I may be spoiled for life now!

I haven't noticed any latency issues. I love that the included charging cable has two cords in one, so you can charge both transmitter and receiver at the same time. One thing that's very noticeable is that there is not pop when you unplug. It's also really important to me that these are rechargeable instead of having replaceable batteries which can be a pain.

It's possible that there's some signal loss over 25 feet, but it's not bad or a complete cut off. It might be that it's cutting out some of the highs? It doesn't seem to be anything to worry about as most stages aren't that big.

All in all this is a great system for a great price that works very well, so I'd recommend for sure!

Great Wireless System with Minor Latency Issues

As an experienced guitarist, I think the FW2D Wireless Guitar System has some pretty cool features. The Type-C charging is convenient, and the patented silent plug design prevents annoying pops when plugging in or out. Turning it on is simple—just press the button for pairing, and you’re good to go.

For the price, it has exceptional range and clear sound quality. However, I do notice a slight latency compared to some of my other wireless transmitters, which is worth mentioning.

Overall, it’s a decent choice for going wireless, though it may not be the best fit if you’re sensitive to latency.

No auto-shutoff, but I have not had range issues

I'm not a pro musician and mainly play to the cat, but I am enjoying these - with one big caveat. I REAALLY wish they had an auto-off and auto-on - no signal in 5 mins? Go to sleep. Shake awake? That would be great. I have a little solid state amp that I built myself, and have 3 spare replacement boards in the garage. I keep it on 24/7, and just pick up the guitar whenever. These are not going to fit for that scenario.

However, it is nice to just be able to pick up my guitar and play in another room, play in my office chair without wrapping myself in the cord etc.

I only took it about, I dunno, 30 feet? No loss, no latency. Signal is great, no added distortion or color, no loss of frequencies.

It clears my Strat's trem bar in one position but not the other. (See pictures)

Dream come true!

I feel like I’ve been waiting for these my whole life! I’ve always wanted a wireless guitar system because we all know how annoying it is to have cables . With cords you can, trip on them, Have them go out right in the middle of a gig, Have them short out try to repair them get the Soldering iron, go to the hardware store get some solder, ugh never again! Now I got these wireless Units I’m living on easy street! They’re even rechargeable, which makes them even better so you didn’t have to go and get batteries for them. They come out crystal clear on the amp. The instructions say the sound transmission only has 5 ms of latency, to my ear, it sounds pretty instantaneous so I’m pretty pleased with that as well. There’s also a noisiest fracture that makes you realize how noisy cable is. All in all this is a fantastic product, especially for the price. It’s literally a dream come true and I’m really happy with it, five stars!!!

I bought a couple of these in the past

Different brands but they all seem to work the same I tried to make sure that it picked up all the little stupid noises that I make and it seems to do it very well. Didn't take long to charge them up when I first got it then after using it for a while I tried charging them again and they were just as quick which is good I remember the old days when you had a great big box sitting on top of your room amplifier and a cord connected to another square box about the size of a cigarette pack attached to your side so you could have wireless two gigantic antennas and it always picked up police signals. I don't know if they will pick up police calls but I haven't had that problem yet and there's been a few fire engines and policemen in my neighborhood and no police calls coming through the amp for some reason I don't know why when I plugged it into my amp at my usual settings they weren't as loud I had to turn the amp up a little bit but not much. And the Deep tones that I get from a cable aren't quite there but for practice it's probably not that bad but wouldn't use it on stage
