I've been using this controller for my PC gaming for a while & it's been flawless! It's hands down the best quality controller for casual gaming! It's probably good for higher levels of gaming too, I'm just not very skilled myself.

No stick drift is a lie
Promised no stick drift, that is a lie. My controller got drift on the first week since I bought it. It's a good controller but the drift thing really got me mad. I wouldn't buy it again

Cool dpad, great stick tension, made me a better overwatch chud
Very good, does exactly what I needed it to. The adjustable thumbstick tension is hard to come by, and this controller does it very well. Very responsive buttons all around, but if you're used to the standard Xbox series x controllers, you'll notice a that the A B X and Y buttons require a little more effort to push, but that's just because they have better switches underneath. The dpad is great, I really like the shape, and the way that it's concave and slightly elevated from the faceplate. It's a VERY nice upgrade from the standard Xbox dpad. The whole thing itself is quieter too. I will say that the light on the bottom of the controller is bright, but whatever we're all capable of fixing that with just some tape. The trigger is smooth, easy to press, and the hair trigger thing basically turns it into a mouse click. I've seen a noticable improvement in my game stats, so you should totally buy this. ESPECIALLY if you are looking for something with stick tension adjustment.

Great but
I've been using this controller for a while now, and overall, I think it's a great controller. The extra buttons are useful, it feels comfortable to hold, and the official companion app is a nice bonus. It performs well during normal gameplay, and for the most part, I've really enjoyed using it.
However, I have one major issue that keeps me from fully recommending it.
On several occasions, the controller has randomly powered off in the middle of gameplay for no apparent reason. The cable is secure, the controller is practically brand new, and there are no firmware updates available. It simply shuts off and refuses to power back on for a while. Then, later, it starts working again as if nothing ever happened.
This is especially frustrating during long gaming sessions. Imagine spending two hours in a Warframe Arbitration Survival mission, unable to pause because your controller suddenly dies without warning. Or imagine this happening during a competitive match or tournament. When a controller randomly disconnects at the worst possible moment and won't turn back on, it can easily cost you the game.
I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this issue, because everything else about the controller has been excellent. If this problem didn't exist, I'd have very little to complain about.
Despite this flaw, I still think it's a good controller. Just be aware that if you experience the same random shutdown issue, it can be incredibly frustrating. My recommendation is to keep your original Xbox controller nearby as a backup, just in case this happens.
Overall, I'd recommend it for its features and performance, but I can't give it a perfect score because reliability is one of the most important qualities a controller should have.

The ultimate Windows controller.
It has custom gaming triggers. Excels in intense finger movements. It has more buttons than most games utilize. The material is anti sweat. Grip feels great. Lights up on the bottom too. It is a wired piece, no wireless option.

Controller was really nice. I really enjoyed it for the one day. I had it before the cord snapped customer service did respond quickly, but unfortunately they’re not going to send me a new cord. They want me to send the whole thing back so I just decided to return the whole thing and get my money back. I just wanted the cord replaced

Great feel, but not ideal for racing games
The controller feels nice in the hands, and I love the adjustable sensitivity on the joysticks, especially for racing games where precise steering is needed. However, steering the joystick left or right does not register to the fullest extent... meaning, in racing games specifically, you can't take tight turns as optimally as possible. Before I realized the issue, I thought I was driving poorly because I was getting adjusted to a new controller! This may also affect movement in video games that features dynamic player speed based on how far you're pushing the joystick.
In the screenshots, I should be reaching 100% steering, but when the joystick is pushed all the way to the left or right, I'm only reaching 99% and 96% respectively.
5 stars for controller ergonomics.
0 stars for driving games, I cannot recommend. The controller's limitations feels like I'm fighting the controller, rather than working with it.

I’ve had multiple different brands of controllers from 100$ and up controllers and the 40$-80$range controllers and the cheaper ones seem to work the best but don’t last as long but this one has been lasting for a while I recommend this over an Xbox elite controller

Just to Get by with
It’s a decent budget controller if you needed a one to get by. Hard drift to the left. I feel like the problem is with the Left thumb stick it seems to have his mind of his own
Best way to summarize this controller would be an upgrade version of the basic Xbox controller. Has a better look to it. The buttons and triggers are much smoother . Don’t feel much difference, adjusting the dial for the left and right thumb stick.

Great controller for Xbox users
This blows the first party Xbox controllers out of the water. It has zero drift, adjustable tension, and everything about this gamepad just screams quality. The buttons are low force yet springy. It is way, way better than the Xbox elite controller. Amazing for racing games and Cyberpunk. The trigger vibration is crazy in Forza. You definitely owe it to yourself to try this.

Awesome Xbox/PC controller!
I had a Vader 4 Pro that I've really loved, so I was curious how the 5S would stack up to it – this controller is incredible! I use it on PC with no problems whatsoever. The controller is really high quality, not feeling cheap and light like many do. It has two back buttons, compared to the 4 that the Vader 4 Pro had (which makes sense considering this isn't a "Pro" variant). Otherwise, though, this controller performs the same or even better than my Vader 4 Pro. It looks beautiful with the gold color and multi-colored LED as well. The joysticks are adjustable to fit your play style, and the triggers can be toggled between linear trigger mode and micro-switch triggers (essentially turning them into buttons for fast-paced usage like FPS games). At $48 when writing this review, this controller is competitively priced below high-end Xbox controllers, with some of the more advanced features available in controllers. I think it's a great value for the price!

Better than a gamesir
Seriously. It feels great, doesn’t feel like a cheap plastic controller (has a bit of weight to it like the Xbox elites), all the buttons work perfectly, no drift, and no mushy dpad (like the gamesirs)
I’ve had a fair share of controllers and I can really say this one is my favorite. Takes some getting used to on the joysticks, (copy my tension for classic feel)
I got it full price, the 20% off is a deal worth grabbing to you all contemplating life right now

Master of All Trades Controller Have Fun 100% Recommend to buy
The master of all trades and seriously fun to use. I love this controller I tried the Razer Wolverine, Gamesir G7pro, 8bitdo, PowerA, Turtle Beach, Victrix brand by PDP, Elite Series, Scuf Controller and more 3d party customized controllers and must say this is the Number 1 Winner. I so happy the controller is solid but not heavy the audio is superb I playing everything on volume level 1 and it has great bass and depth when connected to 3.5 headphones. The light bar is genius and so simple that you can enjoy the lights and it's not blocked away by any way. The price is beautiful for 50 bucks this is a masterpiece and Thanks Flydigi this controller is a HIGE WIN. 🍹🍹🍹🍹🍹

Six Extra Remappable Buttons for More Controlled Gaming. Designed for Xbox Gamers in Mind!
I have the FLYDIGI VADER 5 PRO and I can barely tell these two controllers a part. They might look the same but they have a few differences.
The VADER 5S different features:
-A glowing Xbox logo home button that lights up when the controller is powered on.
-Dedicated Share button for easy captures
- A 3.5 mm headphone jack for wired headphones with a toggle mute button.
-Two pack paddles vs VADER 5 PRO that has four.
-Wired only connection
-More “clicky” tension analog rings
-Two grips for better control.
-Remapping is only to buttons on the controller vs VADER 5 PRO allows remapping to keyboard & mouse.
-Only compatible with Windows and Xbox vs VADER 5 PRO supports PC/NS/Android/TV
You still get the same “clicky” buttons, with trigger stops for a fast response trigger. The tension rings around the joysticks have small notches so you can have precise adjustment or you can color them in with a small permanent marker.
The holding the lower FN button and any one of the 6 remappable keys allows for quick remapping. Downloading the FLYDIGI Space Station for Xbox allows for more customization including, changing colors, additional profiles, software updates, controller calibration, joystick response curves, trigger adjustments and more. The color bar is bright, with bold colors that can also be adjusted in the app.
The one month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (worth $30) is an awesome way to play various games with this controller.
No need to worry about losing dongles or forgetting to charge this controller as it is wired. The provided cable is braided and about 9.84 feet or 3 meters long.
I also tested on an android device and the controller wasn’t recognized.

Simply the best Xbox controller I have ever used
I received the Flydigi Vader 5s wired controller to replace a worn out Microsoft controller. I was a bit worried about the quality of an aftermarket controller but any worries were quickly gone. Immediately upon taking it out it was clear this is a quality device. It feels as good or better than the Xbox original. The level of customization of the controller is amazing far exceeding any other controller available. Even without software you can adjust the resistance of joysticks and the action of the triggers. Using the software allows you to program multiple profiles with different key mapping, trigger travel distances and lighting modes. However the software is frustrating and did not always seem to work to program the lighting modes. Support was nonexistent from the manufacturer; there is a “chat” that states that they will respond via email if no one is available but I am still waiting for assistance. This is a wired version but they also sell a wireless version if you prefer. The wired version likely has a slightly fast response time but that will likely be unnoticeable to most. I would have taken off a star or two due to the poor software however even with those problems there is still no other controller out there that compares to the Vader with this quality and price point. Overall it is an incredible value and likely the best controller for under $100.

A feature‑rich wired controller with solid build quality and performance across Xbox and Windows
the VADER 5S feels solid and well constructed. The matte black finish resists fingerprints, and the shell has a comfortable, slightly textured grip that feels good during longer gaming sessions. The cord is thick and flexible, and the 3.5 mm audio jack sits in the expected place simple and functional.
All buttons, sticks, and bumpers feel secure with no loose parts, which gives confidence that this controller is built to withstand frequent play. The standout hardware features are FORCEFLEX adjustable tension joysticks and FORCESWITCH triggers:
Adjustable Joysticks: You can dial in tighter or lighter stick tension depending on the game, which makes precise movements more intuitive especially in shooters or racing titles.
FORCESWITCH Triggers The triggers feel responsive and smooth with good feedback and gradual resistance.
Inputs are crisp and consistent with minimal dead‑zone, so aiming and animation control feel precise.
The controller includes 6 remappable buttons on the back. Once programmed on Windows or Xbox (via supported software), remapping workflows become quicker and more ergonomic useful for complex controls in shooters, RPGs, or fighting games. I remapped melee and utility buttons in action titles, and the response was instantaneous and reliable. Because it’s tethered, latency is virtually nonexistent. Across all tested platforms Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10/11 the controller connected instantly and worked flawlessly. Plug‑and‑play compatibility was smooth on every device.
The controller also drew power seamlessly from consoles and PCs without hiccups.

Great first effort from Flydigi
I think its very competitive for its selling price. I also have its major competition the Gamesir G7 Pro Tri-Mode for my Xbox. Both controllers feel great in hand with the G7 feeling smaller overall. The Vader 5S feels near identical to the OEM Microsoft controller. I do personally prefer the rubber grip on the back of the G7 as it feels more comfortable for long sessions. The Vader would be better if it had a more grippy texture IMO. Basically every button and stick feels better to me on the Vader 5s. Now I personally do not like the C and Z remappable buttons on the lower front as they feel awkward to hit while playing. The dpad is worlds better on the Vader even though its just odd looking. I have never owned a controlled with such a raised dpad before. It works just looks odd. Every other button feels superior. Now the Vader 5s uses Hall Effect sticks while the G7 uses TMR sticks. TMR is supposed to last even longer but I haven't enough usage with either controller for any degradation to happen. Also TMR are supposed to feel slightly more accurate but I cant tell a difference. Maybe its the adjustable tension but the Vader 5s feels just as accurate to me who only plays shooters. The cords are both braided and thexsame length. Both are very nice quality. If I had to only keep one of the two I would ultimately keep the Vader 5s. Its $20 cheaper and feels better overall to me. Now this is also based on both controllers being used wired only on Xbox. The G7 does have more flexibility since it can be used wirelessly or wired on PC for only $79.

Premium Flydigi Vader 5S Xbox Collab Controller – Hall Effect Sticks & Extra Buttons Shine on PC
This Flydigi Vader 5S is an official Xbox collaboration controller—wired-only design, but it feels premium built without the premium price tag. I’ve been using it exclusively on PC for gaming sessions, and it pairs effortlessly via USB with full Xbox compatibility.
Sticks and Precision: Hall effect thumbsticks are drift-proof and feature Flydigi’s adjustable Vader force tension system—little rings with min/max markings let you tweak tension on the fly for perfect feel in FPS, racing, or fighters. Super smooth and customizable.
Buttons and Controls: Mechanical face buttons have a sturdy, audible click (might feel slightly mushy if you’re not used to Flydigi style, but I love ’em after using their controllers). The D-pad is a responsive hybrid (disc + individual directions) with microswitches—crisp and precise for platformers or fighters.
Extra Vader-exclusive goodies: two additional face buttons, two rear paddles, and two extra shoulder bumpers—all mappable via the free Flydigi app (download from the Microsoft Store). Physical Xbox buttons, RGB light bar for flair, and haptic triggers that vibrate nicely (not adaptive, but solid feedback). Back switches quickly toggle between full analog triggers and digital locks—handy for shooters.
Customization is deep in the app: remap every extra button, tweak RGB, adjust deadzones, etc. Only minor letdown—no full macro binding support, but for button-to-button mapping, it’s flawless.
Box includes a redeemable Xbox Game Pass code, which is a nice bonus for trying new titles.
Overall, this is a feature-packed beast for PC gamers wanting pro-level controls without wireless hassle. Highly responsive, durable, and versatile—beats stock controllers hands down. If you game on PC and want Hall sticks + paddles on a budget, grab it.

Excellent controller. Big upgrade.
I’ve only had this controller for day but I already love it. Hall effect sticks are smooth and accurate. The adjustable tension rings are a must. I had the g7 pro before this but couldn’t get used to the TMR sticks, they felt chaotic and unpredictable. I spent hours in the app trying to adjust it but couldn’t get it right. This controller feels perfect without adjusting anything in the app.
