AM Reception Nonexistent/ FM Reception Could Be Better/ Trash Headphones

I bought this to listen to various radio stations on my hour bus ride into work. There is a strong radio station 97.5 FM Z that this radio just won’t pick up. It does pick up 90.3 NPR but the signal is weak. Forget about AM it has even worse reception in that band. The headphones are garbage. They broke as soon as I looked at them.

Definitely going to return this and try something else.

Save your money.

I was hopeful this radio would be just what I needed to listen to the radio broadcast when at baseball games. Unfortunately the quality control is lacking and the audio jack does not function correctly. If you plug earphones all the way it, there is no sound at all. If you pull it part way out you get audio but you have to jiggle and twist it to get sound that is clear enough to hear. Otherwise the sound is staticky and unintelligible. Changing headphones gives the same result so the problem is the jack. This is a prime example of making something so cheap that it does not serve its primary function. Very basic quality control could have and should have caught this defect.

Excellent reception

A little thicker than I'd imagined.

Sound is excellent, better then I expected.
