iPhone 11 and 13 aren’t a waste of money like this and have 10 superior quality in audio recordings. Don’t waste your time, money, and effort on this junk.

Game changer! Wow the Scarlett 2i2 Studio 4th gen is totally worth its price and value. As a professional musician this compact set up allows me to hook up my electric guitar or even use a quarter inch cable to connect to a midi keyboard or synthesizer and use for recording on garage band! Does exactly what you think it does! Also THE MIC IS SO UNDERRATED! Super nice quality condenser mic!

This is a great interface, I upgraded from the M-Audio MBox 2 which was really old lol. But this interface was a true upgrade my speakers sound quality and recording vocal clarity have improved a lot. The loop back feature is a game changer, the knob controls LED lights make the appearance great. I’m recording with the Shure SM4

When considering the different USB audio interfaces it's hard to beat the Focusrite brand. I've used the older 4i4 models in the past and they were great. With my current much smaller setup, really just needing a quality XLR interface for my Macbook Pro desk setup, to connect my Shure SM7dB. The software is intuitive but also unnecessary for most applications, you can do everything you need from the hardware.

It arrived early. No finger prints, no scratches, brand new. I truly appreciate that. Right now my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface is not hooked up. Once it's connected and software is downloaded and implemented I will update this review.

My husband loves this. It sounds great and it is made very well with metal parts not cheap plastic it's durable. We got one from Temu and it didn't last for 2 days and we had to send it back. He sounds so good on this one.

Doesn’t connect to mac after 2 months. Plug it in and doesn’t turn on. Need to reset computer multiple times and unplug/plug in cords to get working. Avoid.

I bought this because my Asus monitor has horrible factory sound quality. This audio interface gave me the ability to listen to, create, and record just about anything. The headphones deliver a crisp and well balanced sound. The rear ports allow me the flexibility to add studio monitors down the road with ease. I have not used the microphone yet. Also, there is tons a free software that comes with this bundle. The build quality seems solid and great. Just plug it in, make sure your PCs audio settings are setup for the Scarlett 2i2 and you are well on your way. 10/10 stars.

This is my third Scarlett Focusrite 2i2 (it's a long story), but I prefer this brand, because with A/D D/A conversions, you really do get what you pay for. It works with my Dell Inspiron running Reaper DAW, has two ultra quiet preamps (XLR on back), and a HOT monitor output. I won't use any other brand of audio interface for my home practice studio!

Packaging is awesome and very high quality , definitely you get more than what you payed for 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

So let me start by saying I am returning this as soon as my other interface arrives focusrite drivers and support are absolute garbage I’m surprised they’re still in business considering if you look on Reddit you will see this issue spans more than a year back the issue is that the drivers currently and have had a bug with audio for over a year where the audio drops out at random every hour until you un plug and re plug the device I’ve tried literally everything suggested to fix this leading me to the conclusion that this is 100% a faulty driver issue that’s never been fixed or even attempted to be fixed probably the laziest company I’ve ever seen driver updates should be atleast once a month or more especially when you know your product isn’t working correctly for a lot of users in conclusion until this problem is fixed fully I highly recommend everyone look elsewhere for now I’ll try my hand with universal audio hopefully they actually update drivers consistently
The boom arm is well built but unfortun…
I like how easy it is to connect and the fact that the audio softwares are free, its also easy to record directly via a phone and have another recording on the PC as well. Good product🙌

I purchased this item in August to connect my Guitar to my PC and play. It worked great until November 9th, when Windows stopped recognizing the device altogether. I tried all the troubleshooting things, including trying new USB ports, reinstalling drivers, etc etc. Of course, just passed the return window so I cannot get a refund. Not sure I will be buying from Focusrite again.

I got the 4rth gen of the Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 a few weeks ago as an audio interface for my Shure SM7B, which is a hungry microphone, it needs a minimum of 50 dBs of gain to sound good.
The 4th gen powers the mic effortlessly, no need for a cloudlifter or a fethead at all, I leave the gain at 60 dBs and it works flawlessly
I wasn't a fan of the built in "Drive" mode initially, but now I got used to it that I always record with that mode active.
Overall a simple clean audio interface that gets the job done.

I started a podcast and was having so much trouble editing the sounds with two mics. I could always hear some feedback from the non speaking mic. I found the Focusrite Scarlett on another podcasters blog. It took a little while to adjust all the settings on my computer (windows) and on Audacity, but now that I have it all hooked up to this interface the sound is so much cleaner! Saves hours on editing time. It also allows you to adjust each mic depending on the vocal range of each speaker. I wish I had bought this right away.

I loved the quality of sound of Scarlett 2i2, but it never worked properly out of the box. From the start it kept cutting out every minute or so. I contacted Focusrite numerous times, they suggested different ways of connecting. Nothing ever worked on either of my iMacs and to this day it keeps cutting out. The window of return closed and I will never purchase another Focusrite product.

Had the Roland Duo-Capture EX for several years and got the job done. After upgrading my home studio, I plugged in my Roland to my MacBook Pro and well… nothing. Come to find out they stopped supporting Mac on OS 10.4.
Always had friends that ran the Scarlett interfaces and with the price of this Gen 4 model I decided to give it a try. USB-C is so much nicer to work with and the unit looks and feels premium! I am in love so far.
Added bonus was after registering the interface, you get Ableton light, 20% off Fruity Loops and all these awesome extra plugins, instruments and VST’s FOR FREE.
The value for money can not be beat 🔥💪

If not for the included microphone stand this review would be 5 stars. The pictures show a typical 3-legged desktop stand. What is actually
included is this cardboard cutout that would work in an emergency. But it still feels like a bait and switch. Everything else is super high quality and would be worth 5 stars hands down.

This interface really sounds great & let me take full advantage of my microphone & line inputs. I am so glad I got it! It is very well designed, sturdy, and sounds unbelievable. I really think everyone should have one. The amount of software this comes with is crazy! Sure, they are often “light” versions, but this is excellent because you can learn which one you like and want to invest in, once you are ready for the additional performance or features. Highly recommend this product!

I tested with different microphone across with 4th gen Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, UA Volt2 and Presonus Relvelator IO24. My conclusion is:
1- Volt 2: best overall but no loopback channel
2- Scarlett 2i2: best if combined with Shure SM7dB, it’s tuned for this microphone, loopback channel included
3- Revelator IO24: best for budget, loop back channel and universal control with FX built in.

The recording test with acoustic guitar was clear as water, the sound is just awesome, just make sure to get quality XLR cables.

I do video edits for tiktok and I talk over each one of them. This 2i2 4th Gen has stepped up my voice audio game significantly. Im in love with it. I have a Shure MV7 and before I ordered this Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen, I was using a $50 fifine ampligame mixer for my MV7 XLR mic. The Scarlett literally destroys the fifine mixer I was using. The sound Quality is so much better. It's night and day. This Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen also has 69db of gain. That's impressive. You can run an SM7B off that alone without a cloud lifter. All the previous 2i2 generations had like 57db or something like that, and it's just not enough. I have my gain at about 75% for my MV7 and it sounds amazing.

Stay away from this product I've spent about 12 hours now behind my PC while being on the phone and screen sharing my pc with technical support. Their answer to me was try another computer. Windows 11 with everything updated drivers included.
Either it does this or immediately locks my pc up with a hard restart

The preamps in this have almost 70 decibels a gain, which means this will not struggle to power the most demanding of dynamic microphones, the first air mode adds a little bit of EQ which can make a darker microphone sound amazing the second air mode I don't particularly like as it really cuts out the mid-range and boost the highest and the lows and kind of makes it sound hollow on my voice
The software is very handy so you can control the gain from the knobs on the interface or right off the computer software which I think is awesome
The preamps give me a much more transparent sound and other preamps for example other interfaces I own seem to color the sound a little bit but they add a little something they alter the Sun that would say the word this one just sounds very neutral and transparent like it's not changing the sound at all
If you check out the Danny lightning audio tech channel on YouTube you can see this compared to a couple of other units I also did a review video and something about the software so you might want to check that out as well but I'll tell you what can I so far I'm very happy with this I just wish they would add a monitor mix and it'd be nice if the software gave you a little number so you can see if you're at like zero 50 80 100 and so on on the game if you know what I'm saying those are the only two complaints but besides those two things and not really liking the second air mode the overall sound quality is very good and I'm very happy with the unit I mainly use a sure sm7b most of the time but I have quite a few different microphones, I used to always EQ my Acura estimate 7B but with this unit I just turn on the first air know that I don't feel like I need to do any further EQ adjustments which is awesome so yeah I really like this thing
