Solar generated radio/charger that can't handle the sun.

The Metro Phoenix sun warped the sticker that guides the tuning.... in OCTOBER. Not sure what the August sun would do. The radio tuning has a lot of static and the only weather tuning I got was all the way to the right and also has a lot of static. I wish I would have tested and returned when I had a chance.

A capable and useful emergency radio/charger.

Fantastic little emergency radio lets me crank charge a built in battery to charge my devices in an emergency outage. There is an emergency siren that is quite loud (which I accidentally activated during a meeting) . It looks sturdy and capable with a lot of features like a flashlight and solar charging. You should make sure it is charged up occasionally in addition to keeping some AAA batteries with it just in case. I hope I never have to use it.

Chipped

Pulled it out of the box and noticed it was chipped/broke right away. A little disappointing it came like that after almost spending $40 on it. Other than that it’s great.

Exceeds my expectations. Highly recommend as part of your Emergency Essentials

I really like this product. It does it job as it describes. I was able to check all the features. Flashlights, SOS & the emergency lights are all working good. It has a USB ports so you can charge your phones too. Both AM/FM radip channels are clear, I was able to pick up differentl channels. Over 12 on AM and 24 on FM. Highly recommend to get as part of emergency essentials. AAA Batteries not included.

Worst product ive ever purchased. Came …

Great multifunction - old tech radio

This thing is great..! At exactly the intended use. The solar, crank, and features are the best throwback. Don't expect fast charging- but it will keep your phone alive no matter what. It has multiple lights, and after a day sitting on my windowsill the light lasted through the night.

Will do am/FM and has a setting to go straight to the weather broadcast. If your goal is to have an emergency device for: light, moderate charging, and emergency communications? This is the thing to have. It's also great for teaching kids about how RF, faraday's law, and wave theory.

Mighty little device.

Very good device the solar panel is very strong it works in bright sunlight and clouds. The light on the back of the solar panel is bright enough to illuminate a small room. The flashlight feature is also bright and has a far reaching field of view.

Helps calm my storm anxiety!

I don’t get cell service in our basement. During a bad tornado warning I remembered I bought this. It doesn’t even have batteries in it, and the lights and radio worked all night until we could go back upstairs. Seriously so nice to have and helped calm my anxiety a ton during the storm. Well worth the money.

Great weather radio

A review from my 8 year old: Great product has a working flashlight and a reading light the problem is that it doesn't charge anything but it plays baseball and music highly recommend this item.

Nice

I like this and wanted it because I wanted to add this to my emergency storage unit and this is so good!! I really like how even when the battery hasn't been used, you can still power it up. I bought a solar powered flashlight (not from this brand) and it basically said that if you dont use after a while, then the battery will die. So, that's great. When doing the lifetime warranty thing, it doesn't specify or say anything on there about what the abbreviations mean, but SKU (stock unit #) is the product tag that's on the back of your product. There should be a sticker on the hand crank...And then, you need your order # as well. It's very small, but it works well and the weight is like something you can't even notice. However, I don't think this thing is drop-proof since it's so small. So, be careful, especially since it costs a lot. Happy buying!!! God bless!!!

Love the size!

I have not used this yet but took a picture to illustrate the size of the package. This radio is totally packable. It will fit in a purse, daypack or deep pocket! I live in an apartment and have limited storage space, so I am happy. This radio has alot of features and positive reviews. So glad I purchased it!

Essential Emergency Flashlight Radio Charger: A Must-Have for Preparedness

I recently purchased the Essential Emergency Flashlight Radio Charger, and it’s been a game changer for my preparedness kit. This all-in-one device is incredibly versatile, featuring a solar panel for eco-friendly charging, a hand crank for when the sun isn’t shining, and the option to use AAA batteries, which adds to its convenience. (I said the wrong battery in the video, sorry!)

The flashlight is bright and reliable, making it perfect for power outages or outdoor adventures. The built-in radio is a fantastic feature, providing access to emergency broadcasts and keeping you informed during critical situations.

I was particularly impressed with the sturdy design and ease of use. Whether I'm using the solar panel or cranking it by hand, I always feel confident that I can get power when I need it most.

Overall, this flashlight radio charger is a smart investment for anyone looking to enhance their emergency preparedness. Highly recommended!

Broken battery cover

I bought this radio about three years ago, mostly to use for camping and hiking. Recently the power bank started to hold less and less power and the radio wasn't lasting as long on internal power; no complaints about that, three years of regular use and being stored in the trunk of my car when not in use will run down even the best batteries. So I decided to swap out the battery with a fresh one since the radio still works fine otherwise. The whole time I have had this radio there has been a Fospower sticker over the cover for the 3.7v internal rechargeable battery which I didn't think anything about since manufacturers often put "Do Not Tamper" stickers over things like that, I peeled off the sticker and the cover came off with it. At some point, before it was sold to me, someone broke the cover and just slapped a company sticker over it to hold it in place and shipped it off.

This isn't a huge deal, I'm sure that some electrical tape will hold it in place (being that a simple sticker has held it in place for the past three years) but I am disappointed that someone at the factory thought that putting a sticker over the broken cover, rather than replace it, was a good decision from a customer service point of view.

That said, once the replacement 3.7v battery arrives, I plan to continue to use this radio.

Great product

Small but powerful

Decent for the price

Everything works great and feels solid the one downside I have is the LED reading light as far as I can tell doesn't have a on/off switch so if the solar panel is up the reading light is also on a little counter Intuitive but maybe I'm missing something.

Great weather radio

Great weather radio.

Arrived well-packed with instructions.

Had some charge already in it and I'll also try the crank charging and solar.

AM and FM ,weather radio station, flashlight, and SOS signals.

Everything works very well as described.

Great little radio

I bought this because we encountered our first tornado. It was only an EF1 and we must have been at the start of to where we only lost power. Our power went out at midnight and we had no way to charge our phones, hear what was going on, or anything. We could use the car to charge it up a little bit, but it would die just as fast. This is lightweight, has an emergency sos button should you need it. There is a solar charger, a crank charger, or you could use 3 Batteries. It allows you to charge a cell phone and comes with a micro USB cord. I'm sure there are fancier more expensive ones out there but this is good enough for me. I will say our power came on right before I got this so I can't say how long it takes to charge a phone etc or how good the solar power panel is. I will play around with it and once I find out I will update this.

As advertised

Perfect for listening to music as I'm camping. Nice multifunction radio. I put rechargeable batteries in and solar panel charges batteries when on or off. The only issue is I couldn't get any stations when I was up in the mountains camping in an open area. The antenna length is very short so I tried moving it to multiple locations and wasn't able to get anything but my car could.

Better safe than sorry

I feel bad. This is the only thing I have as a back up in case there’s a situation where we really need emergency tool kit, but this is a start better safe than sorry get your emergency kit’s together with me.

What does it look like and come with?

Just from opening from package, it’s a nice compact size. I have the option of hand crank, batteries, solar, or usb charge. I have the choice of fm/am radio with antenna. A flashlight, and phone charger. I feel it is important to have during an emergency!

Speaker not glued. Rattles.

Right out of the box the item made a rattle sound. Upon inspection I can see the speaker behind the grill moves when I tip the item. I believe it’s not glued down. Any chance the speaker rub on the other components inside ? Defective item?

I love it

No dislike at all this is great for camping or for emergency and weather I love it the sound is great and quality is awesome a must have. With this you will never need batteries just crank the power charge it by electric phone charger or by the sun.

jamesha

If you don’t need the radio find something else. Radio is useless.

Had it for years and i finally needed to use it. Didn’t charge my phone. I for sure we’ll be looking for something else.good thing it was only a power outage and not a super serious situation.

Very good item to have incase of a disaster

I bought this item for my emergency bag. Everything works on the item..the radio..the light and I haven’t gotten a chance to use the solar panel. Everything is fine except for the charge life. I charged The radio up and I let it sit for a couple of days and I noticed that the battery life went down even though I hadn’t use the radio at all. And even though I had everything powered off.. But the light is very bright and the radio station are clear...

Rad little radio.

I love this radio and it does everything I will hope to need it for. Sounds great as well, I think. My only suggestion would be to beef up the antenna a bit. Ive went to close it a few times already and have to pace myself as not to bend or break it off trying to get it back in the housing, and without it the signal is not the best. Would be great a tad smaller as well for packability. I feel like the flashlight takes a lot of real estate, and most people who have this will already have much better flashlights for the same size. A tiny LED should suffice.

Great product!

I really love this radio, it has everything you can ask for in a great size! I’ve bought this because we’re experiencing earthquakes and I’m preparing a backpack with essentials. Solar power, rechargeable batteries, AAA batteries and crank, perfect!

Really easy to use, intuitive design. And I feel more prepared!

I just got this item and had not seen one before, but was able to just crank it by hand a few times, turn it on, and was listening to a very detailed weather report within about a minute of opening the box. Very cool little device. I live on an island in hurricane territory and this is forecast to be a heavy hurricane year. I feel much better knowing I have a way non-battery:electrical-outlet-dependent way to access emergency information should I lose internet and cellular data access.

Big Bang for your buck.

This little thing is pretty good, especially if your working on a small budget bug out bag. This radio can take 3 AAA batteries, and it has a lithium ion battery that can be crank charged, or solar charged. This radio also features two lights, one of which is pretty bright, however the other one is decent. The radio itself is pretty good for $20 it can even connect to local weather broadcasts and AM or FM radio like usual. Overall for twenty bucks this little thing offers a lot and can even charge usb devices. I feel this would be great for either a bug out bag, or even hiking and camping, because it also features an SOS mode so if you get separated from a group you can emit a loud siren and flashing red light.
