Does not work with with my FireTV Remote

1. Cannot determine which FireTV remotes do not work with this (kind of) Universal Remote

2. Vendor website says "Works with most FireTV remotes" , but does not identify which remotes are compatible and which are not.

3. I talked with the Vendor's Customer Service and they said since their website provides the warning in 2 above, it is not their problem.

4. I let them know that was unacceptable. Thus, my 1 rating.

Works great

I replaced my TCL Roku remote control with this universal remote and back I have included my Alexa remote making it a 2 in 1 remote. It was easy to setup with my tcl roku tv with the codes and steps provided. It is working great but sometimes both the remotes get pressed at a time taking to some different channels. This can be a great option to use 2 remotes in 1. It is helping not to get frustrated with one remote missing all the time.

Mostly good.

At first glance this GE Universal Remote Control with Roku or Fire TV Streaming Remote Compartment seemed like a long overdue invention. It just needs a little refinement.

When we switched to a streaming based cable provider, our Roku TV remote only performed limited functions. This universal remote seemed to fill that void and keep both remotes together. The only problem was that our circa 2019 Roku remote was too small for the cutout on the GE remote. No matter how you positioned it, it would slide down leaving a gap at the top. So I added some double sided foam tape to keep it in place, which resulted in the "NOW" button being covered by the case and constantly depressed/pushed. I solved this problem by dremmeling out the bottom of the opening to accommodate the buttons. Now it's fine. This remote does come with an insert for Fire TV remotes, so that might be a great thing.

Overall, not a bad unit. Easily programmable and a nice size for combining two remotes into one but really should be more universal.
