Well worth the investment!
Would have given it five (5) Stars but one note the low “A” note (one of the longest bars) will not ring out at a Low “A” but keeps going to “F” or “B?” I used my tone meter to check all bar notes.
The couple of times (2) it would not center the needle it was an “A” flat at best.
Love the resonators they help give the “GLOCKENSPIEL” sound Harty!
The stand and frame for the “Glockenspiel” are will built!
So far I’ve jumped from my old Musser “Glockenspiel” which I believe had steel notes and the difference is very noticeable.
Again the old Musser had no resonators and that in itself is a big difference.
The price speaks for itself compared to a general “Glockenspiel” on a single post stand doesn’t compare to the solidness of this stand!
Price difference is not that great to move up.
“Try it YOU’LL LIKE IT!”
I would recommend it for beginners and intermediate players.
I’m 78 years old and am on my third song!
Love tapping out the notes per song at least three (3) times per day.
Actually enjoying the time spent learning new songs!
Had to add the bar to put my mallets on the stand to keep track of them.
Wish the manufacturer had included that!
