Night vision is limited when inside a glass light fixture
Too much glare from the glass in enclosure. Perfect during the day but at night all I get is the glare from the light of the camera.

I selected this light bulb security camera to use outside my garage so I can easily see what is happening outside without having to stop what I am working on and go look. It works perfectly for my needs!
Installation was incredibly easy. It simply screws into my existing light fixture, so there is no additional wiring, extra plugs, or complicated installation to deal with. Setup was just as simple. I downloaded the app and paired the camera with my phone without any trouble.
I already have other security cameras around my property, so I use this one as an extra window for my garage. It lets me quickly check outside while I am busy working inside. I love the convenience of being able to see what is going on right from my phone.
For anyone looking for an easy way to add a security camera without running wires or installing additional equipment, this is a great option. The simple installation and convenient phone access make it well worth it. For the price, I would definitely recommend this setup!

I already own both interior and exterior cameras from this brand, so when I saw these screw-in light bulb cameras, picking them up was a total no-brainer! Once again, this brand absolutely delivers.
Setting them up is as easy as screwing in a light bulb. You get high-end features—like 2K HD resolution, color night vision, motion detection, and 360° pan/tilt controls—for a fraction of the cost of big name brands.
A few things I love about these:
Storage Options: You aren't forced into a monthly subscription! I use SD cards in all of my cameras, and it works flawlessly while saving me money.
User-Friendly App: The app is super intuitive and makes managing all my interior and exterior cameras in one place an absolute breeze.
Crystal Clear Video & Two-Way Audio: The video quality is sharp and bright. I love using the two-way audio to talk to my dogs when I'm not home. They have no idea where my voice is coming from, so watching them tilt their heads and try to figure out where I'm hiding is endlessly entertaining!
If you want reliable security cameras with zero hassle, great features, and no hidden fees, you can't beat these. I highly recommend!

I grabbed this 2 pack of light bulb cameras to monitor the front porch area and backyard area but mainly for the front for incoming sports card shipments for my eBay store. Installation was incredibly easy you literally just screw them in which a caveman can do. The 2K video and full color night vision are surprisingly sharp. I absolutely love that I can pan the camera movements right from my phone and use the local microSD storage to avoid monthly subscription fees. It's a fantastic security setup for your home or business and i stand behind it fully.

I’ve got about a dozen of GNCC products so am very familiar with them.
I like these BulbCams because they can plug into a ceiling light fixture or a lamp and that’s how they are powered. It will be important to keep the power on.
It does have a light that can be turned on or off via the app, so you are deleting the light when using these.
The cams are boxed and packaged nicely, and includes a set-up plug/socket, as well as an extension that easily and securely screws into both the socket and the camera. The directions are clear and understandable. As well as siren, voice, audio, cloud storage w subscription, night vision, and a memory card slot.
The cams offer notifications for motion and sound. It is an interior light/camera, but could be used on the porch out or rain.
It looks, feels and acts fairly rugged if not abused of over exposed to the elements.
They work with the Osaio app, which works pretty well, and it does sync with my Google Home, but Home doesn’t always work with all of my cams, and the\acts just life.
Part of my 5 star review is based on the fair, good, affordable price.
These aren’t high end cameras but they work well, offer many options and abilities, and they are priced well.
customer review
These security cameras feel durable yet lightweight, fitting securely into standard bulb outlets. They come with a plug adapter and socket extender to make setup simple. The Wi-Fi functions on both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz, making them versatile and convenient. The camera quality and night vision are impressive, with reliable motion detection. They are also multi-functional, allowing you to speak through the companion app. Note that while an optional cloud service subscription is available, they also support microSD cards for capturing video on local storage. Overall, these are high-quality cameras with a wide range of security features, making them a great value.

Providing a bit of background on my experience and knowledge of security cameras in general - I am responsible for 2 properties in 2 different states. Because I cannot be in 2 places at once, I have a fairly extensive DIY security camera system set up in both places. With all of that trial and error, I am no novice when it comes to setting up, maintaining, using, and trouble-shooting these systems. I have depended on these camera systems for about 10 years now. In that time, I have gone through a few different brands. I have my primary camera systems and then I like to always have a few individual cameras from different brands as backups in place, too - just in case my main systems were to ever fail.
This comes with 2 cameras, bulb extenders, socket to plug adapters and instructions.
These cameras appear to be well made and durably constructed.
I followed the instructions and downloaded the app, set up an account and was able to connect to the cameras. Compared to other systems I've used, this was a typical set up. I didn't run into any connection problems or issues during the setup.
The app was easy to install and navigate. Granted, I am familiar with how these systems generally work, but even without that experience, I'd likely find the app very simple to work with.
The image quality is pretty good. I think the night vision and picture quality are more than suitable for most normal home property surveillance situations. You can store images/videos with a SD card, so no subscriptions are required (although the app does try to get you to sign up for a subscription). It accepted my micro SD card with no compatibility issues. I am able to access the recordings by physically removing the SD card or by using the playback feature on the app. I also found the playback feature to be fairly straightforward to operate. This does not come with SD cards so these would need to be purchased separately in order to store videos/images without using the subscription/cloud storage option.
You can choose the motion sensor sensitivity settings to adjust to suit the situation and you can enable notifications so that you will get an alert whenever the camera senses motion. The camera appears to be smart enough to avoid most false alarms once set up.
This camera has PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) options, which is really nice for being able to scan a space. It also has the ability to set it's default position so that if the camera moves to scan an object, it will return to its programmed default position.
Despite my extensive security system history, I have not yet had a camera with this installation versatility. Being able to screw this into any bulb socket is unbelievably convenient. The extenders allow for length enough to reach to the outside of most fixtures. This isn't just a camera. It is an actual light, too. So, you're not losing that light socket by installing this camera. The versatility of these cameras is awesome. There is no hardwiring, no mounting - it is literally as easy as changing a light bulb.
Overall, I am pleased with these cameras' features, ease of use and quality. I got these with the intention of having them as an additional back up option for my primary camera system. However, based on the experience I've had with these cameras as well as other cameras from this same brand, I would feel pretty good about expanding on this camera system to make this brand's cameras a primary camera system. I think the price for this set of cameras is very fair. I am pleased with these cameras and glad to have them as a solid secondary camera system. The versatile installation makes these cameras an ideal option for almost any home/situation.

The GNCC 2K Light Bulb Security Camera is very easy to setup and works really well. I have three other GNCC cameras installed so I did not need to download the app. I screwed the light bulb into a socket and turned on the power. Then I started the OSAIO App on my phone and pressed the + key and the camera was recognized and installed in less than a minute. I named the camera and started using it right away.
The controls are intuitive, the picture is good and I can even understand the speaker. It comes with an outlet adapter that lets you plug the light into a standard 110VAC socket and use the camera that way. This is the first device that I have seen that lets you connect to a 5 GHz Wifi network and of course it will connect to a 2.4 GHz network too. The night vision is very good and it is even in color if you want.
You can record with an SD card (up to 128 GB, not included) or pay for a cloud subscription. It has motion detection and tracking and it will send alerts to your phone.
This is a very good Wifi camera. I highly recommend.

This two pack of lightbulb security cameras is an excellent solution to allow us security around our house without having to deal with running power, data cables, and drilling holes or crawling through attics.
It comes with two bulb cameras, two outlet sockets, and two extender rods. Each camera has a micro SD slot to store video and still images.
They are incredibly easy to set up; just replace your porch light with one of these, install the app, pair the device via Bluetooth and log in to your wireless network. The camera can be manually or digitally directed for maximum coverage of your yards.
The app has three sensitivity settings for the motion control sensor, and it comes defaulted to the most sensitive setting. This resulted in an alert every two minutes all night long for us. The highest setting picks up insects in flight. The medium setting picks up cats, dogs and the resident opossums, as well as large birds. The least sensitive only picks up door movement or people.
The app is easy to navigate and it’s one tap to view a live feed from the camera. This live feed allows two way sound. You can turn on the microphone on the phone, and it transmits to the device speaker. There is a shrill alarm that you can set, which triggers on motion. If you arm that, though, make sure you set the sensitivity to the lowest setting.
The extender rod was critical for us as the lightbulb was in a housing that blocked the camera. There is a green circle light when armed. This turns to a bright circle of white leds when motion is detected. The light stays on for a few minutes, which makes this handy on the front porch when you are coming home and fumbling for keys. The app has settings to also be triggered by sound, and to be activated on a schedule, like to only be on after sundown. There is a camera has an excellent night mode that picks up clear black and white video in the dark. The super bright LEDs illuminate up to twenty feet too. White clothing overpowered the video though.
Obviously, the light switch has to stay on to power this device. The only negatives on this item are that because it is easy to install, it is also easy to steal. As well, the use of it requires a fairly high monthly fee. A lot lower than a security service, but still a consideration. I believe you can use the device without the fee, and store video on the SD card, if you buy one. But the bells and whistles on this make it well worth the monthly service fee.

I already have a couple of GNCC cameras around the house and have had a great experience with the brand and their app, so picking up this 2-pack of light bulb style cameras was an easy choice.
The design concept is brilliant. Instead of drilling holes into exterior siding, fishing long power cables through walls, or having to recharge batteries every few weeks, these simply screw directly into standard E26/E27 light sockets on the porch, garage, or patio. It makes outdoor mounting virtually effortless.
The feature set on these is impressive. Upgrading to dual-band (2.4GHz & 5GHz) Wi-Fi makes a huge difference for outdoor range, providing a much faster, more reliable connection without stuttering video feeds. The 2K resolution delivers crisp detail, while the 350° pan and 90° tilt eliminate blind spots entirely. Having both color night vision with the built-in spotlight and ambient porch lighting keeps outdoor entryways well-lit and secure.
Plus, you get local microSD card storage support so you don’t have to get locked into a monthly subscription just to keep your recordings.
Even before screwing them into the fixtures, the solid build and sleek look are obvious. Another fantastic, convenient addition to the setup from a brand that keeps delivering!

This device combines two devices into one: a light bulb and a security camera. The OSAIS app is very user-friendly, and it detected the device as soon as I connected it to my home W-Fi network. All the advertised features, such as dual-band Wi-Fi support, 2 K UHD video recording, auto-tracking PTZ, color night vision, and app notifications when motion or sound is detected, work flawlessly. It can also function as a simple light bulb with a timer if I want, and it would have been my go-to security device, except that a monthly paid subscription is required for its alarm siren to sound when motion is detected. All my other security cameras notify me through their apps, and they also sound their sirens for free.

This two-pack of GNCC light bulb security cameras is a convenient option for adding outdoor security without a complicated installation. The cameras connect to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi and provide 2K video, color night vision, motion and sound alerts, plus 350-degree pan and 90-degree tilt. I especially like the wide viewing range because it allows you to cover more of a porch, driveway or backyard area.
Another useful feature is the choice between local microSD storage and cloud storage. The built-in ambient light and spotlight add another layer of functionality, especially around entrances at night. For someone looking for a security camera that combines lighting, monitoring and a wide viewing angle in one device, this two-pack offers a lot of useful features.

This is a great little camera. You can very simply install it by just screwing it into a regular light bulb socket. Its that simple. It gets all the power it needs from the socket. The camera rotates all around so you can aim it where you need it to be. You yhen download an app and it walks you through hooking up to it with your cellphone. Its easy and it works great. You can check in and see wherever you installed it. Its great for so many different things you want to see when away.

I am more than satisfied with this Light Bulb Security Camera. Installation took less than a minute — just screw it into a standard light socket, connect to WiFi via the OSAIO app (Google and Apple). If you don't have a light bulb socket...Not to worry. It comes with an adapter for a simple regular two prong plug!!! (Yes, they thought of everything).
The 2K video quality is sharp, and the full‑color night vision is better than I expected. The 360° panoramic view covers my entire yard with NO BLIND SPOTS!!
Motion and sound alerts are fast and accurate, and the built‑in LED/spotlight provides great visibility at night. Both SD card (preferred method) and cloud storage options are nice to have. This camera delivers outstanding value and performance.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their home security quickly and easily using existing household connectivity (Plugs, sockets etc.)

I like that this camera light bulb combines two useful things in one. The screw-in installation makes it feel very straightforward, and the app-based setup is simple enough for a normal home setup without needing extra wiring or drilling.
The 2.4GHz WiFi-only design is something to keep in mind, but once that fits your router, the connection is meant to be more stable. I also appreciate the flexible storage options and the pan/tilt coverage, since those features make it easier to keep an eye on a driveway, yard, or entryway.
For the price, it feels like a solid value if you want a security camera and light in one unit. The motion and sound alerts, two-way audio, and full-color night vision add useful features without making it feel overly complicated.

was pleasantly surprised by how well this light bulb security camera works.
Installation couldn't have been easier—just screw it into a standard light socket, connect it to the app, and it's ready to go!
I have mine installed on my back deck, and the picture quality is very clear both during the day and at night. The app has been easy to use and works great for checking in whenever I'm away from home. I also like being able to pan the camera to get a full view of the area.
Overall, this has been a great addition to my home security setup, especially for the price. If you're looking for an easy-to-install outdoor camera with a clear picture and a reliable app, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try.

This uses the Osaio app to set up and control this camera, and I’ve talked about that enough in other reviews of GNCC cameras. Here I’ll just say it is functional but needs features and improvements like actually recording all events that trigger it, not just randomly when it feels like it.
This device itself could be convenient for renters or possibly for a light near a back entrance. It really stands out when you replace a light bulb with an extended device with a camera. It doesn’t look nice, so don’t expect it to blend in with the look of your beautiful home front entrance. I got it for our backyard entrance, and I’m still not thrilled with the look. Because I have a closed jar light fixture, I can’t put the clear cover back on. In fact, there aren’t many light fixtures this will work with.
The camera image is crisp, and the WiFi pickup is pretty good. It can’t be as far away from the router as GNCC outdoor cameras with antennas, but it’s reasonable. I really like cameras that can pan, and this lets you look all around, just not up. This also has a follow feature that sort of works. It doesn’t track as well as other cameras I have. However, the biggest problem with the tracking feature is the software. The camera will follow someone and then never return to the normal home spot. It just stays turned all the way to one side. I know it’s the Osaio app because another camera does the same thing with this app.
The light is the most disappointing feature. There are no brightness controls, and it’s not very bright either. I replaced an LED bulb that was like an incandescent 60 watts. This is about half as bright. Product details said this could be adjusted, but it cannot. The second problem is that it doesn’t automatically turn on at night. You have to set a timer to make it come on every day, and it doesn’t use sunset as an option. So you must reset the time multiple times a year.
In the “what’s in the package” photo they left out a useful item that is actually supplied. They included an adapter to let you plug the camera into any AC outlet and setup WiFi while still in the house. I supplied a photo of that.
This could be a much better product with an improved app and brighter light with better options. They already lost one star from me for the Osaio app, so this makes it a solid 3 stars.

I was tickled that a plug-bulb adapter was included - which made setup pretty much just like any other WiFi camera, and keeping it indoors. It integrated easily into my existing Osaio app (I own 2 other GNCC cameras). I ran it through its paces and it performed just as described.
Ref photo: I initially installed it with the furnished extension (another great customer-focused feature) and it protruded beneath the light fixture. My wife was having none of that, so I removed the extension which placed the camera fully within the fixture. I was asked to ensure it captured head of anyone knocking at the door, which caused me to rotate to create blind zone - an artifact of the fixture, not the camera and since the zone lined up with the porch corner we found it acceptable.
Then darkness came....... I found the light fixture's glass reflected both white and IR light in sufficient amounts to render night use ineffective..........when placed behind fixture glass. This is true with most other similarly priced units. Without looking through the light fixture glass, night vision features work fine.
If your intent is to install within a glass enclosure - this probably will not work for you.
This is a solid device for its intended use. I'd knock it a half star for disappointment, but Ill round up anyhow.
Customer
Screw-in design installs directly into a standard light socket, eliminating the need to run a separate power cable and making setup quick and convenient. Pan and tilt functions operate smoothly, providing flexible viewing of the surrounding area. The Osaio app offers a familiar interface that works well with other compatible GNCC cameras, simplifying management of multiple devices. Video quality is clear, and overall operation has been reliable. Function performs well for convenient outdoor monitoring with minimal installation effort. Value is strong due to the easy installation, dependable performance, and reasonable price, with multi-pack options offering even better value.

This security camera does not disappoint. It was so easy to pair to my wi-fi and easy to screw in to a light fixture in my backyard. No need to mount or screw new holes into any surface! I love how this set actually came with an extender, which made it possible for the camera to reach past my tall sconce (see photo).
I already have other cameras from this brand and I absolutely love the app that comes with these cameras. The app is easy to install, easy to navigate, and easy to change settings. I also feel very safe with this app, but I still use my own SD card for storage.
This camera has lasted through the searing Arizona summer, monsoon storms, and mild Arizona winters (lows in the 30s).
The camera takes amazing videos and photos, even in low light. (See last photo.)
I love the notification options and the two way microphone. I also love that I can pan the camera using my app, which I like to do when my dogs are outside.
The price for this camera is absolutely worth it, and more reasonable than a lot of the other larger brands I have seen.

This GNCC Outdoor Cam is incredibly easy to set up. Just screw it into a standard light socket and use the free app to get it going in under 2 minutes. The 2K HDR picture is crisp and clear, even at night. The motion detection is highly responsive, and the Alexa integration works flawlessly. I love having the choice between cloud and SD card storage. Highly recommend for budget-friendly, hassle free security!

This is my first light bulb security camera, but I have used many products from GNCC, so I know I'm getting quality and compatibility with the app. The main advantage I see with these is their simplicity. It screws directly into any standard light socket, meaning no holes, wires, or electricians. It functions both as a surveillance camera and a bright LED bulb with an app-controlled timer switch to help save energy. The 360 PTZ design means you get a full range of coverage. It also has automatic tracking to cover almost any blind spot in your yard or driveway. It's not super high resolution (only 2K), and it is only compatible with a 2.4 GHz wifi system, so there are a couple limitations to it. You can record on a local micro SD card (not included), so you're not paying monthly fees. To access some of the AI features, though, you'll have to subscribe. The only other downside I noticed is that it requires constant power, so you'll need to leave the light switch to that socket on at all times! It does come with an adapter to use it in a standard outlet, however. It's an interesting security solution, and I look forward to getting some more use out of it.
Tini
This is a light bulb security camera. It is so cool. It can screw right into your ceiling fixture. It has an extra plug extender you can screw into the device, then plug the other end into the wall, and use it from the wall plug sitting upright. It's actually giving you two ways to use it, along with it being a security camera. You don't need a subscription for cloud storage. It uses 2.4GHz WiFi. All you need to do is screw it in, and use your wall switch for the light to turn on, and off. The camera is still functioning even when the switch is set to off when not using lighting. It comes with instruction, and everything needed to get it ready is in the box. I can't wait to plug it in on my inside front porch, and start using it to see all the mail being delivered.
Jesse
I gave this a rating of 3 stars just because of the ease of installation of overall ease of use for the app.
However, the downsides to this camera is when the light is on it attracts moths/bugs and it will trigger the motion detection ALL NIGHT.
The motion detection easily gets confused and it will pick up things that aren’t there and will point itself toward the wall and not reset itself.
I did use this as a outside camera only, I assume if it was an inside camera it would probably be better.
Teresa
Love this security camera it has the porch light and the camera light. I purchased it because the other one I had did not have the porch light. This one does as well as the camera light great visibility during the day and night and you can put a mim as

Low Key way to monitor your home! Has a nice app. The camera has auto track and alerts. Can use memory card or pay monthly fee for cloud storage that is less than $3 a month. Great WiFi controlled lightbulb!

GNCC Light Bulb Security Camera was purchased to monitor backyard, It comes with holder extension and I did used it to install in outdoor Lantern light holder, Installation was pretty easy, configuration with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi was easy too, I did follow up the instruction manual which was pretty clear. Application name is oasis, which is pretty good and have all setting and customize depend on the backyard light/inclination etc. I did add sd card to keep record all activity at my backyard(Note - SD card doesn't comes with camera) Motion detection is very efficient and can track the path of the object moving, Camera quality in day and night is very nice and it give high quality Image. I will definitely recommend this camera.

So far so good I like this. I wish that the lightbulb part of this light camera was a little brighter, but it was easy to hook up connect to and what I’m gonna use it for it will work perfect.
