Unit came bad out of the box. Telephone support was horrible, they made me email them all the info for tech support to review. I’m still waiting on a reply to an obviously sub par product. Communication is horrible with this company.

Faulty Product

I don't write reviews, but my UPS died at 60 days with a U60 error. Support is dragging on with tons of questions. I had to borrow a kilowatt meter because they wanted to know my devices power draw. Do not buy. (Unit fails at 2:17 in the video.)

Funcionando como debe

Hice el esfuerzo de comprar este equipo por la promesa de la durabilidad, las baterias de plomo son un cancer en cuanto a duración se refiere. El poco tiempo que tengo con este modelo de Ups ha funcionado bastante bien. Responde a los bajones de energia, mantiene la carga sin problemas (hasta ahora no he pasado de los 350w) y es sencillo de operar. Un detalle que si me gustaria que tomaran en cuenta es el tema del software. No parece que tenga uno personalizado como el powerchute de Apc, de verdad seria un Plus significativo si hubiese uno para los goldenmate.

Great upgrade from my old UPS.

Got this as an upgrade from my old lead acid UPS. Wanted something with a higher wattage rating that can better handle a gaming pc, monitors, and a modem.

Its pretty much whisper quiet and never notice the sound of the cooling fan.

Have yet to test to see just how long the battery will last in a blackout but it definitely seems that it will hold for longer than the other.

Do wish the digital screen display was more towards the top of the device than the bottom since its not too likely your gonna be putting it up on a table. Along with the USB ports.

My only real complaint about it that really feel they should make them with power cord having a to the side or down wall outlet plug to better fit flush behind furniture instead of the straight out plug. Still its long enough to reach a good distance.

While it is a bit pricy, I would definitely say its will pay for itself over the time if its life with protecting sensitive electronics and the long life of the battery compared the other lead acid battery using UPSs.
